  1. >As the trained chugged along, rumbling down the tracks, show drifted by the windows, the landscape past the glass a sea of white
  2. >Inside the train, you laid on a couch-sized seat, your lower half sinking into the plush cushions while your upper half rested on your owner’s pillowy thighs
  3. >She’d said, in that sing-songy way she had about her, that the two of your were going to visit her family for the holidays, so she’d bought a ticket for her and her companion, and the two of you were off
  4. >Now, a few hours into the trip, and you couldn’t help but feel drowsy as you stared out the window, watching the snow drift through the air, looking so languid compared to the speed of the train, it’s subtle vibrations attempting to lull you off to sleep
  5. >Of course, your owner wasn’t helping much
  6. >She was reading some book in a language you didn’t understand, holding the huge tome up with one paw, while the other gently stroked over your head and down your back
  7. >She was strong enough that each rub was like a gentle massage, but she was tender enough to keep it from hurting or rousing you
  8. >You could feel your eyelids wavering, losing time as they fluttered open and shut
  9. >At one point, you pushed yourself up, shaking your head, trying to stay awake, though your owner playfully pushed you back down against her side, sinking you into her warm fur, your sleepy body not nearly strong enough to squirm free as she went right back to brushing over you
  10. >A low, feminine rumble of a chuckle left her as you pouted
  11. >She always enjoyed doing this to you, relaxing you so much you fell asleep, though you could hardly deny that you enjoyed it
  12. >You huffed, and her chuckle changed temporarily to one of mild surprise, pulling her paw back to let you make a decision
  13. >You could have sat up, or squirmed about, or done nothing, but instead, you looked over to the window
  14. >The snow was still falling, leaving the outside world cold and beautiful
  15. >But…
  16. >It was warm in here
  17. >And she was beautiful too
  18. >Sighing, moved forwards, crawling up and onto her lap, letting yourself settle over those huge thighs, listening to her coo as she started patting and brushing you again
  19. >You yawned, smiling as you sank into that warmth, feeling her hold you close and safe, and warm
  20. >You could hardly deny that you enjoyed it
