  5. ge: You caught me right as I was looking at some captchalogue codes on the backs of my cards
  6. sb: Oh, interesting, did you read my notes about it?
  7. sb: I've been messing around for a while
  8. ge: yea, I read what you said about duplicating items and combining codes
  9. ge: I've got this sweet plan to try combining some of my items to make some awesome claw-gloves
  10. sb: Yeah, I'm trying to fuse my hatchet with the remains of a lumpus. It's actually pretty expensive.

  12. sb: I need 120 grist, I'm at 31, i can't even think of someone getting more than 80 by this point.
  13. ge: while we're still on the topic of combining items, I've been wondering
  14. ge: do you know exactly how to combine the items?
  15. sb: I'm kind of doing a lot of TNT

  20. ge: wait, you had a pre-punched captchalogue card to alchemize during entry, right?
  21. sb: Yes.
  22. ge: maybe those punched holes have something to do with alchemy
  23. sb: Yeah i assumed that too.
  24. ge: the holes determined the design of the entry item, right?
  25. sb: I woudn't know, i haven't tried to replicate it and i seem to have misplaced my card
  26. sb: By which i mean throw away
  27. ge: that's not what I'm getting at. I'm pretty sure the holes that get punched into the cards determine the item that'll be alchemized
  28. sb: Yeah, it's safe to assume so.
  29. ge: so, logically, by "fusing" codes, you'd add more holes, right?
  30. ge: or something like that
  31. sb: Yess, i already tried that, that is indeed what hapens
  32. ge: maybe you actually subtract holes?
  33. sb: That.....
  34. sb: I didn't think of that
  35. sb: Maybe?
  36. ge: i dunno, but it seems like a possibility
  37. ge: what happened with the captchalogue cards once you punched them?
  38. ge: I kinda don't wanna lose inventory space
  39. sb: They did become unusable, if that is what you are assuming.

  42. ge: but maybe
  43. sb: Yeah, I'm actually down to like 7 cards
  44. ge: have you tried punching the code on a blank captchalogue card?
  45. sb: You mean of a blank card, no.
  46. ge: maybe we can duplicate blank cards by punching and spamming blank card codes
  47. ge: maybe we just need to make one totem for the blank card and spam the alchemize button
  48. sb: You know what, i should do that.
  49. sb: now the problem

  51. sb: I don't know how it's calculated
  52. sb: if it's size we will be fine.
  53. ge: that's a good point
  54. sb: If it's usefulness
  55. sb: well we are screwed
  56. ge: I'd assume there's a base cost for every item based on it's power or whatever
  57. ge: it'd only be logical if the price would scale up or down depending on how huge it is
  58. sb: Maybe it's a combination of them all?
  59. ge: maybe
  60. ge: yaknow, Imma go do some experimentation myself
  61. sb: All i know right now is that i need some clean water.
  62. sb: When you get to it spare the code for bottled water.
  63. ge: what's stopping you from getting any?

  69. ge: I might still have a fridge with supplies inside
  70. ge: my server dragged a car through my house while I was entering
  71. sb: and i think the water around me might be poisonous
