  1. I don’t agree with many of these posts Dark simulacrum is a very good ability theoretically, but isn’t necessary at all. I don’t think it’s super great in 2s, there’s simply better choices Necrotic aura is never worth playing. Almost never. Again, simply better choices. My bread and butter in 2s is Necrotic, Abom, Zone, Lichborne, and Bargain. Generally I bring Lichborne into comps where CC/root break is paramount, or it’ll be a long dampener where damage reduction gets more value. Transfusion I never take because dampening ramps up so quickly in 2s, necrotic becomes a better global to use quickly. For examples on Lichborne comps: WW/X, Arms/X, Destro/X However, sometimes into these comps it’s better to play bargain, if you have trust in your healer’s ability to help you end games. If I plan to kill healer in a matchup, for example Havoc/Rdru, I will play Abom/Bargain. Finally Zone is fantastic against any teams that do heavy magic damage. Ret w/ wings, combustion, stormkeeper, mage, destro w/ dark soul/infernal. Damage reduction is extremely valuable in 2s, because of damp. For optimal zone use you want to use either in late damp, healernis CC’d and they’re using any of the aforementioned cooldowns. Destro lock when they’re bolting you and you have no ability to stop whatsoever: as in they use wall offensively and you have no stuns/grip. Rogue/mage you will want lichborne/zone every time. Trinket/lichborne first stun (if the rogue doesn’t get garrote in you) on you to stop greater pyroblast, if your healer cannot. Don’t rely on your pet to stop gpyro, mage will blink. You want to zone before you AMS in that matchup and focus on stopping re-CCs, while stopping greater pyro. You have to save AMS for maledict. Also not played enough: Wraith Walk. I play it almost every game. Only swap off of it if I plan on dampening an enemy team by training their DPS and AMS would be crucial. Namely: Destro, Shadow, Affliction Lock, UHDK. Otherwise, wraith walk is too good. You can use it to kite, stop drinks, and mobility/uptime is always good, whether you are running to pillar or chasing a healer down. If you’re killing a healer, almost always play abom, Bargain, necrotic, wraith walk. Lichborne I would use to replace bargain. For other specific comps I bring bargain for: survival/heals, where I like to train survival all game. They have too many peels for healer theoretically. Assass/x, easier overall to train rogue and make sure they never touch your healer. Grip him on shadowstep and keep chains up always. Bargain/abom frenzy will melt them while they waddle around the map. Another note about necromancer’s bargain: the best way to use it is to only use it while the healer absolutely needs to heal, such as a big. necrotic. Maximize value by using apocalypse when the healer is not in CC or kicked. I like to use it once everything I can use to stop healer is down. So for example: Kick, asphyxiate, and as the last global during asphyxiate: apocalypse. Most healers have an instant cast heal they will use that will immediately refresh crypt fever. Spam necrotic, healers will burn tons of mana trying to keep them up through all dots and necrotic.
