ZERO System: The ZERO (Zoning & Emotional Range Omitted) System is a technology for interfacing the brain of the pilot with the mech's computer. The ZERO system decreases the pilot's reaction times as there is no need for traditional visual interfaces. Furthermore, thanks to the advanced computations performed by the computer, the pilot can become aware of future outcomes and possible courses of action that can be taken to achieve total victory or total defeat. However, due to this direct brain interface, as the human brain cannot process the raw data, the system will cause the pilot to vividly "hallucinate" the possible paths that the pilot can take; as the pilot tries to figure out what is going on, the system can overload the brain with too many statistics and estimated values, causing temporary insanity.

Type-0 System: A system designed by Elizabeth Vede that unlocks the full capacity of the Newtype Unit running with the NT-D System as a power boost.Due to the unlocked power, prolonged use will overclock the core and cause internal meltdown which leads to a time restraint system stopping after five minutes.

Newtype Destroyer System (NT-D): The Newtype Destroyer (or NT-D) System is an anti-Newtype system developed by Team Avalon and used on the RX-01 Triad. The system works by using the Psycoframe built into its body to seek out Newtype brainwaves. Should one be found, the NT-D System activates and turns the Triad into its "Destroy mode", improving its stats overall and allowing it to take control of Newtype weaponry used by others and turn them against them. However, the system has a number of flaws to it. Among them is having a five minute time usage so it wouldn't kill its pilot and the fact that it doesn't discriminate against real Newtypes and Cyber-Newtypes. Its most ironic flaw is that, because of the massive stress it gives its pilots, a Newtype is the best pilot for the unit. This flaw was later Remedied and further work on by biologically locking the Newtype Pilot's DNA into its recognition system.

Psychoframe: The Psycoframe is a technology that builds on the brainwave-to-machine code translator known as Psycommu into the atom-level of the metal frame of a Mech. This allows a Newtype pilot to control the mech as if it were his/her own body with limitations.

Minovsky Ultracompact Fusion Reactor: Instead of the conventional magnetic field, this improved version of the Minovsky-Ionesco reactor used an I-field to confine and compress the reactor fuel, triggering a fusion reaction. The Minovsky particles produced as a byproduct of the helium-3 fusion reaction were recycled to keep that reaction going. The Minovsky particles that form the I-field lattice also helped catalyze the fusion reaction, in a process similar to the muon-catalyzed fusion investigated by real-world scientists during the 1950s. This super-efficient design was only a fifth as large as an equivalently powerful Minovsky-Ionesco reactor, for this reason it was adopted for use on Generation One Newtype mechs as the standard power plant
