  272. <h8>( telltale heart, )</h8><br>
  273.
  274. Rain particles stuck on the stained glass. It was only the morning hours and everything already off to a dismal start. The season was the ending of summer. The swamp’s water level rose due to the excessive amounts of rain water. The air, muggy and damp. It was funny, this was particularly everyday weather, especially at the Addams estate. An estate that people would often storytell about. Hauntings, doomed weather all year around, and unfortunate endings.<br><br>
  275.
  276. As the organ played lovingly in the background, Roman skimmed through countless pages of old books. He was the first and only heir of the Addams family. His dark hued eyes would occasionally gaze past the novels and out past whatever was beyond the window. Roman jumped in short startlement as the musical notes had gone away. “I have been wondering,” he said aloud, breaking the temporary silence. By the no response he had taken that they were listening. “What would it be like to see the outside world?” The questions hung in the air with a sense of eerie silence. “What do you say, Mr. Leighton?” Victor Leighton had worked on the Addams estate for over 20 years as their loyal and trusted caretaker. Roman always thought of him as like a father. He had a keen sense of things when they go amiss and a strict disciplinary force. One of which Roman had gotten a taste of the first and only time he attempted to leave. The boy knew he always meant well and no purposed harm, least, not to him anyway. He never grew up spoiled and rotten like his other relatives but, perhaps more like that of Victor better than his own parents. <br><br>
  277.
  278. Victor took all of the younger males words into consideration before letting out a low rumble, “If that is what you desire, then so be it. Although I see no need for you to leave against your mother and father's orders only to feed your boredom, sir.” Roman’s head whipped around at the sound of the caretaker’s voice. “It is not boredom,” his thick Bulgarian accent protruded with his every syllable. He stood up from his seated position, facing the organ fully. “It’s merely….” his voice faded out for a moment, allowing the sloshing rain fill the quiet atmosphere once more. “I just do not see why I have to subject myself to a life of....f***ing solitude.” Roman crossed his slender arms over his chest tightly. “Besides, it’s not like I’m leaving this place If I did, it would be like World War III.” With that, he released his arms and let them dangle by his sides as he began to make his way out of the study. Stopping at the door, he placed five nimble digits on the heavy cherry oak frame. Not bothering to look over his shoulder, “Oh, and I spoke to Mr. Gylles earlier. He said he will be making his usual afternoon visit.” <br><br>
  279.
  280. The moment his feet stepped onto the main landing of the manor, there was a hefty knocking at the front door. Figuring it was his assigned psychologist slash tutor, Roman straightened his stature and pulled the knob and door to a slow open. “Nice to see you….Mr..Gylles,” he nearly had to choke out the words as if it was like acid in his throat. “I thought Mr. Leighton was in charge of answering the door?” the man Roman named Mr. Gylles said presently. A flash of annoyance ran through his cranium before he responded, “Oh, yes, well, he’s busy with his usual duties. Please, come in.” As if like a robot, the older gentleman did as he was told. His briefcase clicking softly against his leg as he made his way into the foyer and eventually the living area. “So, Mr. Addams, how have you been adjusting since my previous visit?” The question was more loaded than he probably intended. Roman forced a brief smile before taking his place in his chair that practically served as a throne to him. “Quite fine, actually. Haven’t killed anyone,” a sickening chuckle followed his statement. Mr. Gylles’ expression hardened, clearly not understanding the young man’s sadistic joke. “I see. May I ask, have you been taking the medication I had prescribed to you regularly?” The questions just kept flowing out of the psychologist’s mouth. Roman let out a grumble before returning back to his ‘friendly’ persona. “Yes, as prescribed.” Mr. Gylles nodded respectively as he began to open and dig through his briefcase for something. “You know, Mr. Gylles, I think I might not be insane as Victor probably made me out to be. In fact, I am in perfect health….thanks to you,” another twisted smile came across Roman’s fair facade as his eyes never left sight of the opposing man. <br><br>
  281.
  282. He cleared his throat reflexively, “Mr. Gylles, may I be as bold to ask,...do you know what it’s like, in a swamp during this time of year?” “No, I’m afraid I do not,” Mr. Gylles answered. Roman sat sideways in his chair, his legs dangling over one of the arms and his back arched against the other. He picked at his shortened nails before gazing at the opposing male. “That’s quite the shame, they are really lovely,” he mused. Gylles could feel the situation going uneasy by the way he picked at the collar of his suit. “I suspect dinner should be completed and ready soon,” Roman said, breaking the silence of the stiffening air. “Oh, yes, dinner. Of course,” Gylles reacted to the boy. <br><br>
  283.
  284. In all honesty, he knew something was not quite right with the young male. He would come off as if nothing was nor ever had been wrong. A few short minutes later Roman’s mouth shaped into a small frown before rising from his throned chair. He dusted off himself then let his arms dangle by his sides. “Mr. Gylles, would you care to join us? You did come all this way and what kind of a person would I be if I did not offer my guests something to eat before leaving?” Roman said frankly. “No, that is quite alright. I can find something on my way back to the office. I still have lots of filing to do and get things organized,” Gylles fibbed. He took clear notice but did not reveal his knowing. “Please, we insist. Victor’s culinary skills are exceptionally top grade. You surely will not be disappointed,” he pressed on. Mr. Gylles got up with a nervous chuckle, “Well, I guess I could.” With that, Mr. Gylles and the young heir made their way into the dining hall. <br><br>
  285.
  286. Roman licked his bottom lip as he unnoticably picked up a decent sized silver object from one of the tables against the dining hall walls. “I’m afraid, Mr. Gylles, this will be our last meeting for a long long time.” The moment the last syllable left his perfectly pink hued lips, Gylles turned around with utter confusion. Next thing that was heard was the sound of an abrupt yell and blood spewing onto the polished wooden table. Roman lifted his weaponry to his own eye level, a blade. He had slashed the psychologist straight through the front of his neck. Now, the body laid lifeless behind one of the dining chairs, eyes wide open in pure horror and shock. He seemed pleased with his action as he cleaned off the blade with a white napkin that had been folded neatly on the table top. “Looks like we can finally stop paying for carelessness,” Roman said nonchalantly, taking his rightful place at the head of the long table with confidence.

Though they’re strangers when they sign the lease, they agree to share the place. A few days after the move in, they start to question the arrangement. One is quiet and neat, the responsible type, and likes their privacy. The other is loud and messy, can't even remember to make a dentist appointment without ten million post-it notes, and happy walking around the apartment half-naked and entering their roommate’s space without knocking. They hardly agree on anything, from what to order for dinner to what temperature to keep the thermostat on. Eventually Roman decides to move into the central region of town. Maybe the joint space was just unbearable? Perhaps. Whatever the reason, it would cease to exist. <br>

  320. <bae>CASSANOVA RYDER:</bae> The two get drunk off their asses at a local bar. Though neither were satisfied with just a stiff drink and be done with it. By the end of the night, they end up trashing the place. Flipping over tables, breaking chairs, tearing up the walls, and smashing everything in sight. They were fueled by adrenaline and raising absolute hell. The act of course gets them banned from the establishment. However Roman buys his way into not having the police be called.

  322. <bae>CATHRYN STERLING:</bae> A mutual friend of both Roman and Ryn stayed the night and got murdered at the Bates Motel. They met a couple of times before but both unknowingly get called to come investigate. They find it odd that it happened just like the movie 'Psycho' though everyone thought it was just a fictionalized thing. They check in and get settled in their rooms. Roman stays awake til late that night with a bunch of files spread across his bed. However he hears something strange coming from the main house. With Ryn being the only other resident, he goes over and asks if she heard the same thing or if he was just going stir crazy. After a short while they both agree to go up to the house. With the front door unlocked, they let themselves in. Though once they're in, they have to survive through whatever strange happenings occur within the house years after the original murder. <br>

  324. <bae>CHASE DONOVAN:</bae> We're not supposed to pick up hitch-hikers because they may be serial killers. However, serial killers often pick up and kill hitch-hikers. Therefore, has a serial killer ever picked up another serial killer and did they become best friends? <br>
  325.
  326. <bae>EVERLY MCLOUGHLIN:</bae> Roman and Emilie were in a tumultuous relationship years ago. It was full of lust and desire, but the young lovers had a tendency for hot-tempered, vicious arguments. They broke up mutually and moved on, realizing that the situation was never going to give way to something healthy. Especially with Roman's conditioned emotional detachment. They had met while Emilie was on vacation and Roman for filming. She is the only person who knows what went down exactly in his past and about the frequent nightmares. Late one night, she picks up the phone and dials Roman, simply wanting to hear his voice. Roman is shocked and hesitant to speak with her, but is unable to hang up, emotions running high. After several conversations, both agree they need closure to move on, and decide to meet in person.<br>

  330. <bae>MASEN HENDRIX:</bae> Nothing like camping out in cheap hotels and tents, eating at rinky dink mom and pop diners at 2am, hiking up mountains, and exploring the states.<br>
  331.
  332. <bae>NOEL ARCHIBALD:</bae> After a friend has a terrible leg injury that keeps them cooped up in their apartment, Roman is generous enough to help them out. The friend has been keeping tabs through photographs on their neighbors. As they have nothing else to do. So one night Roman looks through them, finding one rather suspicious. For the next couple of nights the two spy on one apartment window in particular. All of sudden Roman gets the idea of sneaking into the person's apartment while the friend keeps a close eye on him to make sure they aren't caught. Up the fire escape across the way he goes and stealthily through the bedroom window. However, Noel saw the entire thing go down and decides to confront Roman by meeting him on the fire escape before the owner came home.<br>

  334. <bae>ROXANNE PEARCE:</bae> something about the storyline here.<br>
  335.
  336. <bae>SKYLAR KING:</bae> They're both totally drunk and Sky ends up spilling her past, including bits of her secret but Roman just brushes it off as crazy ramblings. After a simple one night stand, Sky's presence aided Roman in stemming an idea for a film. For better or for worse. At first he goes to different locations in Arizona for production, but when he arrives back in Phoenix and he runs into Skylar. When they meet each other again and she hears the idea she potentially flips out and does everything she can to change his mind.<br>

  346. <bae>COMMENTS:</bae> We can fight our desires, oo-oo. But when we start making fires. We get ever so hot, oo-oo. Whether we like it or not. They say we can love who we trust, oo-oo. But what is love without lust?. Two hearts with accurate devotion, oo-oo. What are feelings without emotions? I'm going in for the kill. Doing it for a thrill. And now I'm hoping you'll understand. And don't let go of my hand. I had my hopes out on the line, oo-oo. Well they'll be ready for you in time. If you leave them out too long, oo-oo. They'll be withered by the sun. Full stops and exclamation marks, oo-oo. My heart stopped beating 'fore I start. And how far can you send emotions? oo-oo. Can this bridge cross the ocean? And I'm going in for the kill. I'm doing it for a thrill. And now I'm hoping you'll understand. And don't let go of my hand. And don't let go of my hand.
