Fire Light

Maybe it’s the wrong time
Maybe it’s too late
I know it’s been a long time
But how much longer can we wait

The half moon is barely breathing
It’s hanging on by a thread
The night falls like a shadow
Over all that’s left unsaid

Maybe it’s the same thing

And isn’t it a strange thing
To keep going back for more

Tethered to the ground

And maybe its the fire light
Maybe its the wine
Theres always freedom in hindsight
But I'm a prisoner in my mind

There are no second chances
When you've already blown your third
The fire light madly dances
