Leo, Skyla and Mordred finally arrived in Ballonlea, a nice quaint little town nestled deep within the mazelike Glimwood Tangle, it was almost like a fantasy hamlet in a fairy mushroom forest, the only thing making it stick out was the massive stadium like gym resting at the back of town.

“Kinda kills the whole aesthetic.” Mordred chuckled.

“I wonder why it’s so out of place like that.” Leo said.

“Cause this gym uses Dynamaxing.” A familiar voice said.

The three turned around and saw Sonia standing there smirking.

“Long time no see you three.”

The gang greeted her and went off to chat in a nearby park, the nearby bioluminescent mushrooms providing enough light for them.

“Earlier you mentioned something called Dynamaxing.” Leo said “What’s that?”

“It’s a pretty rare phenomena I’ve been looking into.” She explained “It can only occur in certain locations known as Power Spots, there some sort of energy is produced that reacts with something called a Dynamax band and allows a Pokemon to temporarily grow to gargantuan size for combat. It’s quite taxing on the trainer similar to Mega Evolution or the use of rare Z-moves. The local Gym Leader, Opal, is a practitioner of Dynamaxing.”

“Sounds pretty crazy, something you’d have to see up close.” Skyla said “But a Giant Pokemon, guessing that wouldn’t be easy to beat.”

“Yep it’s not.” Sonia said “That’s why there are two popular strategies for taking on Dynamax Pokemon.”

“What are they?” Leo asked.

“Well one is to buy time and outlast it, the change only lasts a few minutes before the energy will dissipate and the affected Pokemon will return to normal.” Sonia said “The second…take it on with a Dynamax Pokemon of your own.”

“Well, he doesn’t have one of those.” Mordred said.

“Oh, that’s right.” Sonia teased “But it just so happens Professor Bellis gave me one to give you, how convenient, now where did I put it, this pocket…no this one…or maybe here?”

Sonia started patting herself down making a point to squeeze her soft chest.

“Can’t seem to find it.” She looked at Leo and smirked “You might need to perform a strip search.”

“You are pathetic.” Mordred sighed.

“She is a self-proclaimed exhibitionist.” Skyla chuckled a little.

“Come on Leo, gimme a rub down.” Sonia sat in his lap “You really want that Dynamax bad, don’t you?”

Leo grunted a bit, instinctively running his hands over Sonia’s thighs as she leaned in close.

Leo and the girls, fresh off their interaction with Sonia, headed to the Gym, inside they saw it was set up with a front desk reception like an arena. As Leo started to make his way to the desk a girl with short brown hair and a rather curvy figure stepped next to him.

“Oi, I was here first didn’t ya see?” she huffed “Or what you blind or something?”

“Sorry.” Leo said.

He looked at her for a moment, the girl had a rather busty body in a tight sweater along with a short pink skirt that barely covered her ass.

“Eh, what the fook are you gawkin’ at?” The girl spoke with a very thick accent “You eyein’ up me knockers?”

“Sorry.” Leo said realizing he’d clearly upset her…or at least he thought it was hard to tell with her accent.

“Ya betta be.” She huffed “I’d kick your arse in a battle but I’m saving me strength for the Gym.”

“You’re a gym trainer too?” Leo asked.

“Why else would I be in a gym ya dumb cunt.” She cursed at him like it was nothing “Name’s Gloria, I’m gonna be the next champ, count on it. Now I’m gonna kick this hag’s fanny back to the last century where it belongs got it.”

“Such a mouth on you young lady, and calling me old.” A tall woman walked out.

The woman was mature but still youthful looking with a sharp nose and short blue hair, her body was curvy and bound in a tight pink and blue striped dress with a fur wrapped around her neck.

“I’ll have you know I’m only in my 60s.” she smiled.

“Sixty?!” Mordred nearly flipped her lip “You’re as old as my grandmother!”

“I keep young, daily facials.” The woman touched her smooth skin “Now then I’m Opal the gym leader of this fine place, you two must be challengers is that it?”

“Ya got that right.” Gloria said.

“Yes Ma’am.” Leo smiled.

“At least one of you is polite.” She smirked “But don’t call me Ma’am dearie, Opal will suffice.”

“I was ‘ere first so I get ta challenge ya first ain’t that right?” Gloria asked.

“I suppose that is true, but frankly your attitude is less than acceptable for one of my challengers.” Opal sighed “I’m not as spry as I used to be, especially when I use the Power Spot, it tends to drain me for most of the day, I’d hate to make one of you wait so how about this, I’ll take you both on together, like a double battle.”

“Why do I gotta team up with this wanker.” Gloria huffed.

“It’ll be a good learning experience for the two of you.” Opal smirked a bit “I’m looking forward, I’ll give you a few minutes to strategize, you can each use two Pokemon, I’ll use four.”

“Guess we don’t got much of a choice.” Gloria sighed “Alright then, I’mma be usin’ me Raboot and Arrokuda, that’s a water and Fire-Type, this here’s a Fairy Gym so if you’ve got anything Poison or Steel, we’d probably be good with that on the team.”

“I don’t have anything that’s those types.” Leo said.

“You’re real fookin useless you know that.” Gloria sighed “We’ll figure it out in the moment then, but if we lose cause of you I’mma be right pissed off you got that.”
