  1. Application For: Head Scientist: Namek
  2. Player: HelionZX
  3. Char: Helion (Young Adult)
  4.
  5. Head Scientist topic: Your whole life you've seen technology slowly crawl by. Things were at a virtual stand still until you had a stroke of genius that led to a creation of systems that allowed you to easily manipulate the genome of any being, or rebuild any machine from the ground up, no matter how simple or complicated. Describe what inspired you to invent these incredible creations and how you put them together.

  7. Minor request- I request being able to get a robotics tool so I can periodically upgrade my android friend.

  10. Helion was young when he first left Namek, it was an accident in truth he fell into a crate that was to be exported off planet. He spent about 3 years traveling around trying to find a way back home until he came across a small ship piloted by an ageing doctor. He was unaware at the time that the doctor suffered from an affliction he could never truly fix. After about a year of working together the doctor began to break down coming to the end of his cycle. The android that the young namekian had grown so close to had forgone the idea of a new body because he had seen to much. There was less than a month left to learn and to grow under the man. Helion spent as much time as he could with the doctor learning about him learning about how he was made from another android who was escaping death and he wished to end the cycle. Helion found himself fascinated by the technology that brought life to a lifeless doll. He spent much of his time studying the doctor but it was not enough. He watched as the doctor passed one night everything finally powering down for good.

  12. Having lost more than just a teacher, having lost a true friend and a man who he modeled his own thoughts after. Helion took the knowlage he had learned to make a small ship to return to namek In a rather crash course he landed and began cutting down trees and building a small house all of his own on the outskirts of the planet. Time would pass and he would become little known in the community due to staying within his house for hours and hours on end there was a moment of inspiration while thinking about his old friend and the core workings of his body. He began using rudimentary parts that he would scavenge off ships that crash or from waste he found that others had no use for. He began building a engine made to last much longer and charge much easier off rudimentary powers. Seeing the core of his old friend fail has changed how he views life.
  13. The parts that he began to assemble where rather simple at first however he began making lenses out of orbs that where initially thought useless, He began making dense material from reforming scrap. He would find many different uses for the strange organic materials on Namek itself but would find himself leaning more towards the materials that came in off other ships from travelers and others who might not know the value of what they hold. It took some time but after months of acquiring a piece here and a bobbin there he began assembling the engine he had dreamed of. However all triumph comes with failure and when he tried to turn it on the first time the focus lense shattered and caused a miniature explosion that blew out a side of his house. He woke up a few hours later with water rushing into the foundation of his home.
  14. Weeks went by while he repaired his house he stared at the failure each day wondering what was wrong. Finally one day when he was about to throw away the engine he saw within the devices fixture an error that he made. Newly inspired he began rushing to assemble a stage two for the engine. It took him about half the time to find the materials because he knew what to look for this time, it was a lot less trial and error and before long he had a new prototype. He took a deep breath and began activating the switches in sequence to activate the engine and after a flinch and a prayer a low hum came from the device. The green tint of his flesh might have flushed a entirely red for a moment in sheer bliss.
  15. From that moment Helion began pumping out many other cores of similar make and design until he finally came to one that's purpose was to allow recharging much quicker than the old cores. This core became his crowning achievement and he called it the Hex-Reactor. With the reactor in hand he one day went to the elders of the village and began his plea for aid in his endeavors as finding the materials was growing harder and harder for a single man.
