  1. [14:35] The training with Gavriil instantly came to a close when a monstrous appearance made itself known to their south, the eyes of the captain narrowed as soon as the presence of Eugo was spotted.
  2.
  3. "Halt."
  4.
  5. "Corporal Gavriil please do prepare for real combat."
  6.
  7. Steps lead him closer towards the beast, the hammer that was previously being swing within a spar held a more tightened grip as he approached, eyes so evidently scanning across the form of Eugo.
  8.
  9. "And what brings you so close to the walls of a Barsburg city?"
  10. (Kirill pyr Orlov)
  11. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  12.
  13. [14:37] The rather young lady appears from behind the two, and with the sight of two men, completes the cell for good measure. She seems ready to fight as well, even if she appears unarmed.
  14. (Azuma Suzu)
  15. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  16.
  17. [14:39] Why was it whenever he was out here training with Kirill someone came and interrupted it. This was the second time it's happened, it's... Weird. Perhaps he should find a new sparring partner.
  18.
  19. Alas.
  20.
  21. As the command to halt was issued out, the Razuka's entire body stopped in place, as he turned to face the approaching... Creature. Almost instantaneously the ice around him dropped in temperature, as he waited for further instructions.
  22.
  23. "Understood."
  24. (Gavriil)
  25. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  26.
  27. [14:40] A slight glance towards the trio of Barsburg's people that seemed to be idling exactly right outside the Dreadwoods...The comment of it being right outside of the City walls were pretty much ignored.
  28.
  29. "Returning to the Dreadwoods." The demon merely glanced towards the direction of the man who spoke first seeing as he was giving the orders he could only assume he was in charge in some way.
  30.
  31.
  32. Unless someone moved to attack, The demon seemed rather uninterested in them, Although their weaponry did intrigue them. "You Barsburg people are closer to our territory than I am to yours. Best keep your wits about you."
  33.
  34. He said after all it was a lovely night for bloodshed.
  35. (Eugo La Ravias)
  36. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  37.
  38. [14:42] Eugo La Ravias's voice (to Irkalla): Greetings Mistress.
  39. [14:45] The gaze of Kirill shifted towards the woods, before moving back towards Eugo. Unfortunately their dojo was destroyed, otherwise they would of been training within its walls and not right outside the southern gate.
  40.
  41. "No."
  42.
  43. A shake of Kirill's head had him advancing forward, the hammer adjusting to find itself placed against the ground as he made to speak again.
  44.
  45. "I am very much so interested in having you accompany us back into the city. Subdued, in chains if needed."
  46.
  47. "Corporal Gavriil. Now is the time to prove yourself."
  48.
  49. It was clear what the captain wished to see happen, a hammer waved forward.
  50. (Kirill pyr Orlov)
  51. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  52.
  53. [14:49] "Understood."
  54.
  55. Well, it seems like his orders had been given, had they not?
  56.
  57. The frigid winds that danced around his frame would be let loose, as they moved to lash out at the... Whatever that thing was. Some demons at the very least looked like an animal of sorts, but that thing?
  58.
  59. He had no clue what it was, but like the good cog in the machine that he was, he'd follow his orders, muttering "Such a pain in the ass..." before moving to follow his winds, his gloved fists being raised to strike at the Demon.
  60.
  61. All while the temperature around them continued to drop further, and further.
  62.
  63. "Here goes nothin'."
  64. (Gavriil)
  65. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  66.
  67. [14:49] Tyranny asks, "Are you by my lawn, again?"
  68. [14:51] The foolishness of humanity and their aim towards progress would always be their downfall however Eugo wasn't one to fall so easily into the hands of another.
  69.
  70. Ripples of Occultism Like lightning began to stream across the demons bare chest. The Empty space in its head reflecting the true madness of the Abyss as the Umbral Avenger took his stance. A glare towards the man as he seemed intent on capturing the demon.
  71.
  72. "Then come bring your chains I'm sure you'll look well in them with your head cut off and mounted." The demon said, There was no rage or fury in his voice, merely the confidence that he'd do just what he said.
  73.
  74. It seemed the Ice magi would be the first to taste his claws. It wouldn't be the first or the last time he'd face off against the Machine, And he would surely be prepared for it.
  75.
  76. Runic circles began to appear, The symbols of Pentagrams in the center, Essence being drawn into them they quickly began writing vile curses of oblivion. The specialty curse magic of Eugo was known to some as his signature skill.
  77. (Eugo La Ravias)
  78. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  79.
  80. [14:55] {Lost Dangerous RPB against Gavriil}
  81. [14:55] * You have been awarded 1 Roleplay Points! *
  82. [14:55] ** Gavriil has inflicted an injury upon Eugo La Ravias. ("Temporary Injury", "Temporary Injury", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (4 days)") **
  83. [15:07] With each passing moment, the temperature would begin to drop. Lower, and lower. The grass beneath his feet would find themselves coated in a thin layer of frost, as he pushed himself towards the creature.
  84.
  85. Colder, and colder.
  86.
  87. Until it had spread towards the demon, making the mere act of moving difficult. Which would allow the pugilist to close the distance, as he rained down a flurry of blows onto whatever the Hel this thing was. Yet, it wouldn't be that simple.
  88.
  89. For each strike of his that connected, he'd find his body being withered away by magics of shadow, time, and the occult. Were it not for his more feral nature as a Razuka his assault may have been halted.
  90.
  91. Yet it wouldn't.
  92.
  93. Over, and over again the once lazy rodent would push through the pain, as his fists, and ice alike sought to tear apart the creature's body. Until a massive stream of ice poured out from the man's hands, tearing through the ground, until it connected with the monstrosity, leaving some shards of ice within their body. Most of which probably fell out almost immediately, but one rather large one would remain lodged within it's leg as it was pushed off.
  94.
  95. The demon had been defeated, but he had failed to capture it.
  96.
  97. The rodent's Sienna eyes would drift over towards his commanding officer, as he awaited further instructions.
  98. (Gavriil)
  99. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  100.
  101. [15:11] The Vanity of Mankind would supersede the vanity of Demonkind in this moment. The blades of ice would ripple across the lands Shadows bending across time to slash and rip into the corporal.
  102.
  103. Eugo had already been practicing his variation of curse magic for a while, infusing the rotting effects of occultism and Time magic into the perfect balance of energy. Using essence and rune magic circles to perfect the shape and scale of the blasts and without a second thought multiple shots were sent raining down towards the Razuka.
  104.
  105. With each blast that made contact time and occultism would ripple through him the curse immediately taking effect and slowing his movements and restricting his ability to heal had he any. Chronomancy worked to sufficiently weaken his defenses yet even then it proved difficult for Eugo to slash through the Ice the Corporal created.
  106.
  107. He was powerful but not out of reach, The damage he could apply with his Ice attacks only seemed to get more and more intense as the battle continued on. The demon finding some struggle to reach him with the advanced technology he used in combination with his fists and kicks the demon was completely overwhelmed by it.
  108.
  109. Umbral shadows twist and bend to lash out against the powerful Ice Magi, If not for a moment their clash was at an equal Draw before a pillar of Ice surged towards them launching shards of ice all over landing inside the demons body leaving a rather large shrapnel inside.
  110.
  111. Another curse magic circle appearing before him as he blared out occultic miasma that would mask the demons escape from here. Wounded but free. Eugo would return to the Dreadwoods, Having fought survived yet another enemy attack.
  112. (Eugo La Ravias)
  113. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  114.
  115. [15:16] He had no time for this.
  116.
  117. Day after day, the underlings of Barsburg used their own forests for practice. Destroying his land, hunting his kindred, and making a great disturbance for Tyranny.
  118.
  119. His approach was not one of grand spectacle, or of a prideful lord. His eyes burned with an everlasting helfire, and his heart was set on something in particular.
  120.
  121. There are no words, not to any of them. His pride and honor had been shattered from the losses that he was forced to witness. No, he would do something about it.
  122.
  123. He had to do something about it.
  124.
  125. Ash Durung Libero manifests in his hands, and he plants it into the earth. Staring down all who would arrive, signaling Eugo to retreat.
  126.
  127. He was not an impenetrable wall, or an unstoppable force.
  128.
  129. But he would always fight for his people, no matter what.
  130.
  131. "Take a step to me, and die."
  132. (Tyranny)
  133. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  134.
  135. [15:17] Considering they typically guarded the Dreadwoods entrance, mundane. Yes. But it allowed for chances such as these, where as the ascended's gaze would scan past the forest. Realizing in the distance there was a battle once more on the lines drawn between demons and human.
  136.
  137. "Hrm…"
  138.
  139. Arriving, but making no attempt to actually... Stop what'd been happening. They were curious, so much. They were willing to risk their apprentice being nabbed by enemies. All for the chance to bare witness to the technological advancements brought over by Barsburg.
  140.
  141. Alas, maybe they weren't watching too closely? Or maybe they were too engrossed with the kaors safety that they couldn't get an exact read on the situation.
  142.
  143. Meaning? They could only come out from the darkness themselves to better assess the conquering nation. "Seems like my apprentice still has much to learn. Though worry not, barsburg. In due time? Even they, on their own will act as a force to be reckoned with."
  144.
  145. Glancing over, with the arrival of the king however. Maybe the ascended wouldn't require a hand to raise. Less they assaulted her first. Of course.
  146.
  147. "I doubt they'd step to you. King..."
  148. (Irkalla)
