- This is a new scaled-down version of the popular DIN Text Pro series. It is a more economic version which supports all European languages based on the Latin script. The DIN Text Std families have retained several of the original version’s OpenType features and characteristics.
- Each family comes with 756 glyphs per font including small caps and 15 flexible weights.
- The DIN Text Std family, has lowercase ascenders that are higher than the capitals, varying letter proportions and italics that are not a mechanically-obliqued version of the regular weights.
- The letterforms divert from the stiff geometric structure and introduce instead elements which are familiar, softer and easier to read. All 3 superfamilies including Condensed and Compressed share the same attributes.
