Path of Metal, Second Step

Imeri walked out of the house with Kaiza following her, heading down the streets through market and the towns square, slowly marching through cobblestone path towards easter gate, soon passing through it and entering the frozen plains often used as training grounds. The same ones that the witch used more than once to work over her magic, practicing, sparring and training, alone and with the others, doing everything she could to grow in power to protect ones she cared about.

After walking towards more of the open field the witch decided to turn around towards Kaiza nad kiss him on the lips before backing away and soon spreading her arms as she growled and began lifting huge chunks of earth and rock into the air, sighing loudly as she forced them to surround her and slowly flow around. Imeri closed her eyes and began to focus, soon sitting down on the ground and slowly lifting heself into the air with her gravity magic, soon ending up surrounded by multiple amount of earth rings surrounding her form.

With her eyes closed adn mind focused the witch began to work over breaking the stones in molecular level, using the knowledge she gained from pervious training session to start separaing the bits of metal from gathered soil and stone, moving it really slowly towards air in front of herself, finding the task clearly hard due to fact that she was trying to manipulate material way different to the earth itself, one that was heavier and strudier than it and one that she planned to not only to learn to control freely but also hoped to master.

For long and tiredsome hours she would have remained in same position, refusing to move or take a break, with sweat clearly dripping down on the rocks themselves as Imeri kept swapping them every now and then after extracting all of the metal she could from them, doing it slowly as the process required precision at her mastery level over metal which would be equal to nothing, from the lone fact of metal magic requiring far more mana to control it.

Despite long hours she spent on practicing, and focusing the result wasn't satisfactionary, the witch didn't manage to collect even a fistful of mixed metals. It was dissapointing and somewhat frustrating, though not discouraging to give up for her. The witch only smiled faintly and sighed loudly as she would resume her practice for couple of hours, trying to implement the knowledge she gained so far to collect more of the durable material, slowly enforcing it to form a ball in her hand.

With her determination and dedication to keep working over her own power, Imeri managed to gather eyesized ball of mixed metals, clearly enough for her at that moment, as she ended up being exhusted and with clear mind that if she was to continue her training, she would manage to become capable of using metal magic within few years time, togeter, encouraging and dissapointing fact, as it proven that she would need to train at least once a day to make any serious progress with her new ability.
