      [EMPATHIC DETECTION] Minerva's power allows her to sense the darkness in someone, which is manifested as a headache. The darker the person, the more negative the reaction Minerva experiences, such as bleeding from her ears and nose. If Minerva is unable to detect anything from someone they are deemed good by proxy. This ability was inherited from her father.
      [EMPATHIC MANIPULATION] Minerva is also able to manipulate emotions to some degree using her touch. She tends to only use this ability for docile reasons. For example, soothing a frustrated or aggravated person into a calm state. Minerva can also use this ability to force fear into an individual. This ability wasn't inherited from either of her parents.

       [REGENERATIVE HEALING FACTOR] Minerva is capable of completely healing minor scratches and injuries in mere hours without any permanent scars, and major injuries like broken ribs in just a single day. It may also allow her to not be affected by the harmful and long-term effects of alcohol, leaving her only to experience brief intoxication and hangover while not experiencing any signs of toxicity. Because of this, to actually become drunk, Minerva has to drink a lot more alcohol than an average human does to feel its effects. This ability was inherited from her mother.
      [ENHANCED REFLEXES] Minerva has drastically enhanced reaction speed, allowing her to kill flies in mid-air, dodge complex attacks, catch falling objects, and react instantaneously to what others take more time to. This is one of Minerva's newer abilities since she's discovered it a year ago. This ability wasn't inherited from either of her parents.

[LOUD NOISES] Loud noises of high enough frequencies are enough to stun Minerva for extended periods of time.
[CRYING] Seeing or hearing someone cry makes Minerva anxious and often times distracts her from her goals. She feels the immediate need to help the individual feel better.
[WATER] Minerva has a severe form of aquaphobia and refuses to go near large bodies of water.

BACKSTORY: Minerva Hannah Gelden was born to Erik Gelden and Jessica Jones but was primarily raised by her father due to to Jones' "inability" to take care of a child. Without being raised beside a mother figure, her personality and actions tend to be more masculine. In her sophomore year at Maspeth Highschool, Minerva's abilities began to show when she got frequent headaches and nosebleeds. After reporting these instances to her father, Erik pulled her out of high school. Her fathers obsession to keep Minerva safe turned her into a homebody and an overall anxious person.
