<Sciencegar> The city of Toronto continues to bustle, but its new heroes have gone quiet, in anticipation of a new development in their little group.

<Sciencegar> News of Rei's imminent delivery has sent the group into a somble mood, as they mill around, waiting for news.

<Sciencegar> Some are willing to wait. Others, including those closest to Rei, cannot stand the waiting.

<Sciencegar> "Taiiiiikiiiii, we have to dooooo somethiiing." Ed rolls around on the floor in front of her computer, like a freshly caught fish trying to flip itself back into the water.

<Sandwitches> ""I know, I know..." Taiki looks over a small sketchbook and tosses it in the trash, and snatches up a pair of worn looking goggles. "I think I'm just about ready..." He slides them on, and grins "Go get the others, and meet me down by the Zoids."

<Sciencegar> "The Ooooothers? Which others?"

<Sandwitches> "Katejina, Uso, and Shakti.  They're part of the family now, so we can't leave them out."  He blinks, and then chuckles.  "Get Zenny too.  She'll be loney if we don't take her with us."

<Sciencegar> "Oooooh, Taiki wants to take a giiiiirl with him!"

<Sciencegar> She hops up on her feet, giggling.

<Sandwitches> "...Eh?"  Taiki just stares for a moment, and then drops his face into his open palm.

<Sciencegar> "Okaaaaay! Ed Ikari, Hasshin!" She takes off running, arms out like a plane.

<Sciencegar> Later, in the hangar bay, a scene of disorganised chaos is taking place. Uso and Shakti run around the feet of the Power Mammoth, while Katejina watches Ed clamber up the side of the Hurricane Hawk, without a ladder, and with Zenny's holographic form on her back.

<Sandwitches> Taiki walks up beside Katejina and smirks at the sighs.

<Sciencegar> Ed and Zenny tumble perfectly into the seat of the cockpit. Katejina shrugs. "Thats just showing off."

<Sciencegar> "Hey, Ed, are you taking the babies?"

<Sandwitches> "I think we should split them up.  Uso can come with us, while Shakti goes with Ed and Zenny."  Taiki interjects.

<Sciencegar> "Okay, I guess."

<Sciencegar> As Taiki suggests this, a manipulator arm pops out of Power Mammoths nose, and lifts the squealing Shakti up to the Hurricane Hawks cockpit, gently.

<Sciencegar> "You'll be careful now, won't you Young Master?"

<Sciencegar> The zoid sound firm, but not angry or anything

<Sandwitches> "Yeah.  Not the first time I've done something like this...  Just another family trip.  We've had a lot of those.  Don't worry, I'll make sure everyone comes back safe and sound."

<Sciencegar> "Alright, young Master. But don't be gone too long. You'll all have someone to meet soon, remember?"

<Sandwitches> "Don't worry, We'll be back in time."

<Sciencegar> "Then head along, Young Master."

<Sandwitches> "You heard him Katejina, lets go!"  Taiki scoops up Uso and heads for the ladder to the Brave Jaguars Cockpit.

<Sciencegar> Katejina is right behind him.

<Sciencegar> She settles in behind his seat. "Wow, I think this different from Mobile Suits after all.2

<Sandwitches> Taiki reaches the top and hops inside, putting Uso on his lap.  "Yeah...  Zoids and Mobile Suits might have some... very loose similarities, but the control systems are nothing alike."

<Sciencegar> "Hurm. I really got to learn one or the other eventually. Maybe both."

* Gulping_ ([email protected]) has joined #SDOG

<Sandwitches> "With this family?  You'll probably learn both.  And more."  He scratches the side of his head with a finger a bit.  "Alright...  Brave, you ready to go?"

* Gulping has quit (Ping timeout: 240 seconds)

<Sciencegar> The zoid core hums to life, a vibration like a purr quivering through the frame.

<Sandwitches> "Alright...  Everyone, Lets GO!"

<Sciencegar> The two Zoids head out of the hangar without problems, and head out onto the plains around the city.

<Sandwitches> In the cockpit of the Hurricane Hawk, Zenny sits with Shakti, face scrunched up as she ponders something...

<Sciencegar> Shakti looks at her quizically. "Why you makes that face?"

<Sandwitches> "I'm thinking about something..."

<Sciencegar> "Whatcha thinking about?" Shakti pulls her face close to Zenny's.

<Sciencegar> On her other side, Ed does the same.

<Sandwitches> "Something Mom-Illya told me to find..."

<Sciencegar> "Eh? What's tha'?"

<Sandwitches> "A Partner."

<Sciencegar> Ed pushes her cheek to Zenny's. "Ooooooohh!"

<Sciencegar> "That's really funny. Are you sure she didn't mean like a Zoid or something?"

<Sandwitches> "Huh?  Why would she mean something like that?"

<Sciencegar> "Hmmm....Well you are a mobile suit already, so I guess she probably wouldn't."

<Sciencegar> "But, where you going to find a partner. It is a myyyssteryyy."

<Sciencegar> "You want to go looking now?"

<Sandwitches> "You'd be willing to help me look?"

<Sciencegar> "Weeeell, maybe. It might be fun."

<Sciencegar> "And it'll get us away from silly ol' Taiki."

<Sandwitches> The sound of a bell strikes through Zennys mind as she point off in the distance.  "... There.  Go there!"

<Sciencegar> "Woo! Ok!!" the Hurricane Hawk makes a hard bank, and zooms off to the north.

<Sandwitches> "Eh?! Ed!"  The Brave Jaguar skids to a halt, as Taiki looks towards his fleeing sister's mech.

<Sciencegar> Fast as it is, the Jaguar can't do much when Ed hits the throttle and flies off like that.

<Sciencegar> Scanning the skies, the jaguar can trace its movements, and also picks up other zoids in the area as well.

<Sandwitches> "...  Thats not good."  He hits the throttle, heading towards the other zoids.  "Katejina...  hold onto Uso for me."

<Sciencegar> Katejina reaches over and takes the boy, who's mesmerised. "Wait, you're not following the others?"

<Sandwitches> "The Brave Jaguars not fast enough to catch the Hurricane Hawk without a booster...  And there are other Zoids around."

<Sciencegar> "Eh? Oh, I think I hear something..." She looks up at the twisting trails now emerging through the clouds

<Sandwitches> Taiki looks up, attempting to catch a glimpse of the Zoids.

<Sandwitches> "Thats..."  A grin crosses Taiki's lips.  "Thats the Jet Falcon!  Brave, get Ready!"
