>The car hurled and whirled before it shivered into a complete stop
>Monika slapped the steering wheel and chuckled out of frustration

>It was the dead of night, an owl hooting in the distance
>You could feel the light tapping of rain onto your head, wondering if you're going to end up sick just because you two decided renting the convertible would have been more fun
>An empty road, with no soul in sight, save for two
"So...what are we going to do now?"
>Monika looks at you apologetically, already knowing you won't like the answer

>The only sound to be heard was the steps of your footsteps
>No car has passed by yet, the road was such a lonely one
>The cold and the rain has even left the both of you separated
>The foulness of a date gone wrong, you could measure the distance between you two with a ruler
>You decide to close it, by wrapping an arm around her, and she purrs in response
>"Hey...you know I like you, right?"
"Of course."
>"And, I hope you like me..the way I like you."
"Yes,"
>"I was wondering if, you would be my man."


>You look down towards that rosy, earnestly expecting face
>What a thing to say on a first date
>It wasn't even over yet -- still,
"Oh Monika..."
>You stop so you can embrace her fully, holding her tightly and caressing the soft of her back with your hand
>She retreats to pull something from her pocket
>A golden ring encrusted with an emerald gem
"It's beautiful."
>you whisper as she slides it into your finger
>"Now it's official."
>You stare admiringly at her gift as she breathes deeply, calming her nerves
>"I have something I want to tell you."
"Yes, Monika?"
>"I'm not like other girls."
"Of course not! That's why I love you."
>"No I mean I'm different."
"What are you talking about?"
>A playful annoyance creeps into your voice. Is she trying to tell you she came from a video game? Because you're sure she knows you are aware
>Then, you could feel the road become brighter
>You look up, watching the clouds part and the full moon become visible
>Monika grunts, and convulses with eyes wide in fear
>Your hands raise to hold her shoulders, but she stumbles backward, afraid of your touch
>Or rather, afraid of what could happen should you two touch
>You can only stand there in fear, not knowing what to do or how to help her
>Something akin to a howl or a scream escapes her mouth, and she doubles over onto the ground
"Monika, are you alright?!"
>"Go away!"
>Her face.
>It's not her face anymore.

>Her long, luscious hair has blown away in the wind
>All that remains is a tuft of curly, black hair resembling an afro
>Her skin has grown ash, and her lips a tad larger
>Somehow even her clothes transformed, into a fabulous red jacket and red khakis to match
>She looks completely changed, and yet familiar all the same
>You hear the sound of footsteps
>A second ago, the road was barren
>Now you are surrounded by shuffling zombies with out-of-date fashion senses
>They start to line up behind Monika, ready to devour you
>You see the hunger in their eyes

>You run into the forest, danger be damned

>You barricade the doors and even though you had a head start you can hear them banging, begging to be let in
>You find the attic, and huddle in the corner
>The floors burst into rubble as the zombies climb their way towards you
>What a horrible idea
>You could have kept running
>And then [spoiler]Michael Jackson[/spoiler] drops in from the roof, and wipes the dust off his jacket
>He and his gang slowly circle around you, licking their lips
>This is it, you think
>The last moment of your life will be taken by one of the world's greatest entertainers
>Well, when you put it that way...
>His hand reaches towards you, and you shut your eyes in fear
>You hear yourself scream a blood curdling scream, and a familiar chuckle?
>You open your eyes, and find Monika, alone, holding out her hand towards you
>"What's the problem? Come on, I'll take you home."
>Relieved, you stand up and walk across the furnished room and outside once again into the night
>A warm, summer dry night, eclipsed by the moon.
>She closes the door, and notices the back of her hand retained some of the colour from "earlier"
>A simple thought and it's gone, the skin back to it's original hue
"Monika, what's wrong?"
>"Ah, nothing! Nothing at all."
>She says, her eyes sparkling radiant, the pupils growing thin, predatory, knowing her hunt is about to end.

>Asking your doki if she wants to dress up as someone for a party, but for you especially!
>She's up for whatever!
>Okay! Letting her know she's going to dress up as Samus!
>What you're going to wear will compliment her!
>She doesn't have to do anything, a bunch of your friends are helping you make the costume!
>She just needs to sit tight and be patient!
>She can do that!
>After you finish talking she checks online to see exactly who she's going to dress up as!
>Searching online for the bounty hunter by name and finding scandalous pictures of a sexy blonde woman in blue tights!
>My oh my, your doki exclaims - just what she gotten into?

>Halloween comes, and your doki is nervous as ever!
>Going to a party looking like that woman will be...embarrassing to say the least!
>Are people going to stare at her like a piece of meat?
>Will Anon?
>Your doki blushing at the thought!
>Then you come into the bedroom holding a bunch of colourful cardboard!
>What the hell is that?!
>Your costume! Are you ready to get into it? Oh, remember to wear a shirt, you don't want the sweat to bleed onto the costume!
>Your doki surprised but thankful she won't be looking like some cheap floozy!

>Helping her get into the costume and it seems like your doki is having fun!
>Feeling the happiness well up!
>All you wanted was to share the joy of cosplay on the day where doing so won't elicit incredulous, condescending looks by the mass public!
>Your doki getting used to having a weapon for an arm!
>She's still able to sling her purse onto her shoulder despite the handicap though, so it's all good!
>Then she sees you get dressed into your costume!
>It's everyone's favorite racer/bounty hunter/super hero, Captain Falcon himself!
>Presenting the trademark salute, asking what your doki thinks!
>Cool! It's really cool!
>Now she remembers the one time you two played super smash brothers and she drifted towards the muscular speedster!
>How thoughtful you remembered that tiny thing! What a boyfriend!
>You walk out the room feeling a tad more stared down than usual!
>You wonder why, as you chafe from the incredibly tight spandex!
>Now you totally understand why Falcon does that awkward scuffle when he walks in the game!
>You head out the door, a pair of Nintendo bounty hunters, on the way to a jamming party!
>Your doki constantly glancing to the side at you, admiring the 'craft'!
>She wonders what the most lady-like way to ask you to ravage her with the costume on is!
