It's black, sleek and looks like a stealth bomber that could carry a Nephilim if it wanted to. The interior is plush, gutted and refurnished for only the best in flying accommodations.
[19:32] <@DBN006> Lucas doesn't seem to be joining you on this trip today, stack playing guard duty back atbase. You get Safara in his place. Isabel is aboard too, but laying down in the last row of seats, no feeling well.Occasionally you can hear a fit of coughing from her.
[19:33] * Sebastian_G leans back in one of the plush seats looking out the window. "So.. is this why we had to drive around in the rust bucket?"
[19:34] <@DBN006> You're in the middle portion of the plane, the area ahead of yours closed off to you. Beyondthat would be the cockpit.

[19:34] * BSChurchill opens a can of mezzo mix
[19:35] * Safara sits sideways in her chair, taking up two spots on one side of the aisle.
[19:36] <Sebastian_G> "This thing is nicer than any plane I've been in before."
[19:36] <Kyle> "Yeah, I have to agree... Though honestly I only have that other flight to compare it to." Kyle saysas he glanced out the window he finds himself sitting next to.
[19:37] <Safara> "You two ever been to Germany?"
[19:38] <Kyle> "Nope."
[19:38] * BSChurchill smiles at safara
[19:38] <Sebastian_G> "Not once. I've been to Canada once though."
[19:40] <Safara> "Imagine Canada, with more beer. Why're we going again, Church?"
[19:41] * Sebastian_G moves the armrest between the seats out of the way, and stretches out.

[19:42] <Safara> "Yay." She twirls her finger in the air.

[19:44] <@Sound_Only> The hatch to the front section of the plane swings open and Dr.Markus steps through,followed by another man. This other guy is wearing a NERV uniform with the jacket open, tie hanging loose. He'shot a ponytail and stubble, and a grin on his face.

[19:46] * Sebastian_G mumbles.
[19:46] <@Sound_Only> "Hey there pilots. Captain." The doctor offers a wave.
[19:46] <Kyle> "Hello Doctor."

[19:46] <Safara> "Doc." She speaks without looking up from her Gameboy.

[19:48] <@Sound_Only> For the briefest moment the hatch is open the next cabin looks like a collection of tubesand wires with what might or might not be a big ass chair at the center. Then it closes. "Yo." The mystery manoffers, saluting in a smartass kind of way.
[19:48] * Safara glances up. "And just who're you?"
[19:49] <@Sound_Only> "Ryoji Kaji, NERV special investigator." He adjusts his tie.
[19:49] <Safara> "'investigator'? NERV has its own police force, now?"
[19:50] <Kyle> "Nice to meet you... and yes, I didn't know NERV had investigators, special or normal."
[19:50] <@Sound_Only> "He's catching a ride with us to Germany." Markus offers up quickly. "Why don't you head back up front?"
[19:50] * BSChurchill thinks kaji's name sounds like it belongs to a water melon farmer
[19:50] <@Sound_Only> With a wave and a grin Kai disappears back up front. "See ya."
[19:51] <Sebastian_G> "There any other stowaway's on board?"
[19:51] <@Sound_Only> "None I can tell you about." Wink.
[19:52] * Safara returns to her Gameboy.
[19:53] <@Sound_Only> With a nod he continues now toward the back of the plane, opens the hatch and is gonetoo now.
[19:53] * BSChurchill drinks his soda
[19:54] <@Sound_Only> Speakers fairly well hidden inside the cabin chime. "Beginning final approach, pleasebuckle your seat belts."
[19:55] * BSChurchill does so
[19:55] * Safara doesn't.
[19:55] <Kyle> Kyle does so of course
[19:55] * Sebastian_G remains leaning down.
[19:57] <BSChurchill> "so who wants a foot of wurst after we get settled in"
[19:58] <Sebastian_G> "I could eat anything right now."
[19:58] <Safara> "Pass. I'll take a cheeseburger any day."
[19:58] <@Sound_Only> The plane starts to descend, giving you a prime view of Berlin. It seems to have survivedSecond Impact well enough, though a portion looks to have been recently destroyed in a fight.
[19:58] <Kyle> "Well, I'll give one a try."
[19:59] <BSChurchill> "so many kinds of sausage... including kasewurst"
[20:01] <@Sound_Only> Finally you land, the plane taxi's to the loading platform and a side hatch opens. Lookslike this is your stop.
[20:01] * BSChurchill stands up and grabs his carry on from the bin
[20:02] * Safara plods her way out, still playing with the Gameboy. Wonder where that social butterfly went.
[20:02] * Sebastian_G gets up, finding his pack, and heading out.
[20:03] <Kyle> Kyle stands and retrieves his pack, walking out after the rest of them.
[20:03] * BSChurchill catches up with safara "something bugging ya?"
[20:03] <@Sound_Only> Only one person seems to be waiting for the lot of you, and he looks terribly unhappyabout it. He wears a lab coat, blond hair slicked back with cold blue eyes staring at you from behind a pair ofglasses.
[20:05] <Safara> "I'm fine." More aliens from space die at her hands.
[20:05] <@Sound_Only> He says something to them in German and waits for a reply.
[20:06] <BSChurchill> "ya sure... i haven't seen you this quiet in ages"
[20:06] <Safara> "I'm fine." She ignores the German quite handily.
[20:06] * Sebastian_G yawns, looking around, waiting for whatever it is they're waiting for.
[20:06] * BSChurchill looks at the man "langsam bitte meine deutsch ist nicht sehr gut"
[20:07] <@Sound_Only> "Butcher someone else's language." He replies, adjusting his glasses. "Come with me." Ahhah, so the asshole speaks English just fine.
[20:07] * BSChurchill pulls out a phrase book hoping after his initial phrase it might help
[20:08] * BSChurchill follows
[20:08] * Sebastian_G follows after silently.
[20:08] <Kyle> Kyle nods and follows.
[20:09] * Safara kills space invaders, trailing behind.
[20:09] <@Sound_Only> "Captain Jarah is in the middle of a training exercise with our pilots, you'll be with meuntil then. For all of our sakes I hope she's done soon."

[20:12] <@Sound_Only> He walks them to a jeep, solid black with the symbol of NERV Germany painted on theside. Of look, more tunnels. NERV clearly has a tunnel fetish. He climbs into the drivers seat and waits.
[20:12] <Safara> It's metaphorical, you see.
[20:13] <Safara> Tunnels being symbols for--new high score. Safara pulls the cartridge out and starts a different game. Kyle or Sebastian might recognize the gamefreak startup noise.
[20:14] * BSChurchill hums so wagner as they travel
[20:14] <Sebastian_G> "When are we getting food?"
[20:15] <@Sound_Only> It doesn't take long for the tunnel to open up and change, now made of glass so you cansee Berlin as you drive. In the distance is an all too familiar black pyramid. "You can bother the Captain about food."
[20:18] <BSChurchill> "whats the matter is chauferruing us keeping you away from your fraulein?"
[20:18] <@Sound_Only> Not exactly the most friendly guy you've got here. "I have important work here Captain Churchill. I am the head of Project E here in Germany."
[20:20] * Sebastian_G thinks how much of a prick this guy was, he's kinda showing me up here.
[20:20] <BSChurchill> "then i would hope you would be able to reccomend a restraunt that would keep us out of your hair."
[20:20] <Safara> Yeah, really. You should do something awful to ensure your dominance.
[20:20] <@Sound_Only> Once inside the main base the jeep makes a sharp turn, ties squealing.
[20:20] * Safara falls to the side, caught off-guard.
[20:22] <@Sound_Only> "The Einherjar were the latest in the EVA line to be constructed, and are obviouslysuperior. They require constant care. This is aside from our own struggles against the Angels."
[20:24] <BSChurchill> "if not for our research your einherjar would be mere wind-up toys"
[20:24] <Pilot_Heinrich> Too bad you have no idea where you're going. The signs are all in German.

[20:24] <@Sound_Only> He only smirks, the sign of someone that knows something but is too much of a dick to share.
[20:25] * Sebastian_G smacked his head on the side of the van on it's sharp turn and rubs it.

[20:27] <Kyle> Kyle slams into Sahara as the jeep takes its sharp turn, and as he fixes himself back up into a straight position he glances towards her. "Err... sorry about that."
[20:27] <@Sound_Only> "Their own pilots are lackluster and needed a proper example of what a pilot can do."
[20:28] <Safara> Son of a bitch, the girl's built like a brick wall by how hard she is, Kyle. "...S'fine." She has to turnher head to look at him past her hair.
[20:28] <BSChurchill> "sure... keep thinking you are the ubermensch"
[20:29] <Kyle> Kyle nods and then proceeds to rub his head for a few moments, wondering if he hit something elseand just didn't notice.
[20:29] <@Sound_Only> Oh look! You're in the Cage area, off to the right are the Einherjar. You see only two of them. Both are plain white with off snake-like heads featuring only the most eerie of grins, no other facial features.
[20:30] <@Sound_Only> "I have seen video of your battles, all very American. Rush in head first and fire enough bullets until it stops moving, or gnaw on it, as the case may be."
[20:31] <@Sound_Only> "One tank battalion and one wing of VTOL lost."
[20:31] * BSChurchill looks at the ones around him "did you run out of design ideas and paint?"
[20:32] <Safara> "The wreckage from your battles seems no better."
[20:32] * Sebastian_G smirks.
[20:32] <BSChurchill> "the tanks and vtols are our first line of defense"
[20:33] <@Sound_Only> "They do love their explosions." Suddenly the jeep comes to a halt. "Nein!" He's up andout, moving quick. "Nein nein nein!" Hes shouting at engineers in German.
[20:33] <Sebastian_G> "What a douche."
[20:33] * Safara tears her eyes away from the Gameboy, looking at the fuss.
[20:34] <BSChurchill> "i thought the fuhrer they had in the forties was a dick"
[20:34] <Kyle> Kyle refrains from commenting, and looks over towards the commotion now occuring.
[20:34] <@Sound_Only> The best you can tell hes shouting orders, pointing at what looks like a large, purpledouble-bladed sword built for an EVA.
[20:35] <Safara> "...What a ridiculous weapon. That's something Luke would ask for."
[20:35] <@Sound_Only> The most recognizable work he uses is when he calls them idiots. A lot.
[20:35] <Sebastian_G> "I think Lucas might want something even more flamboyant than that.."
[20:36] <@Sound_Only> Once he's done yelling he smooths back his hair, adjusts his coat and gets back on thejeep.
[20:38] <@Sound_Only> And off they go again.
[20:39] * BSChurchill hold on
[20:40] <@Sound_Only> He drives in silence, reaching up now and again to adjust his glasses.
[20:42] <@Sound_Only> The next area they drive through is shielded by glass, beyond they can see LCL below.Suspended over it is what you can best describe as a crimson colored plug. Before you can look too closely thelights go out, the room pitch black. The man driving pockets a remote.
[20:43] <BSChurchill> "so what is your combat record"
[20:44] <@Sound_Only> "Classified." He answers curtly.
[20:45] <@Sound_Only> The jeep finally comes to a halt and he climbs out again. This time he waits for the rest ofyou.
[20:45] * Sebastian_G gets out of the jeep, taking a look around.
[20:45] * BSChurchill gets out and stretches his back
[20:46] * Safara plods out, back to killing Pikachus.
[20:46] <@Sound_Only> Things are starting to look familiar now, minus the sheer size of NERV02. Hallways, NERVpersonel, no sign of the military.
[20:47] <Kyle> Kyle walks out, taking a glance around.
[20:47] * BSChurchill grins and glances at his team knowing wha he wants to give his hosts as a gift now
[20:48] <@Sound_Only> Most folks try not to actually look at the man they're with, who never actually introduced himself.
[20:49] <@Sound_Only> "Have any of the Angels spoken to any of your pilots?" He asks out of the blue.
[20:49] <Safara> "Classified." Safara happily retorts.
[20:49] <@Sound_Only> He snorts.
[20:50] * BSChurchill grins
[20:50] <Sebastian_G> No.. they just make us look at ourselves naked instead he thinks to himself.
[20:52] <@Sound_Only> "This is where we part ways, not a moment too soon." He keys open the door in front ofthem. The magnetic seal releases and with a hiss is slides open. This room looks familiar. An observation room andbeyond the simulation bodies.

[20:53] <@Sound_Only> "Coming from a man grown in a vat." He smirks and steps inside. "Captain Jarah."
[20:55] * Safara looks up, glancing at the blonde man. A vat...
[20:55] * BSChurchill shakes his head not knowing how he knew that "what a bauer aus bayern"
[20:55] * Sebastian_G rubs his head.
[21:00] <Sebastian_G> "So.. when do we get to, whatever it is, we're doing here?"
[21:00] <@Sound_Only> He leads them to a cluster of personnel observing the training, hands clasped behind his back. "Rasia."
[21:01] * BSChurchill stands waiting to be acknowledged
[21:03] <Safara> "Hm?" One of them with shocked-white hair finally turns her excruciating, calculating gaze fromthe pilots to the blonde man. "Oh. Yes." Spine ramrod straight and shoulders held back, a tall woman looked eventaller, looking down her nose at Churchill first, then the pilots. Measuring them. "Welcome to Berlin. I trust yourflight went well." Israeli features held tight and cold, making their first guide look positively gregarious.
[21:04] <BSChurchill> "it was rather relaxing"
[21:04] <@Sound_Only> Hands moving to his pockets he steps past her and away from the group, toward the computer equipment.
[21:05] <Safara> She offers a hand. "You must be Churchill. Let's get this out of the way."
[21:06] <@Sound_Only> "Have fun." He says over his shoulder.
[21:06] * BSChurchill shakes her hand " of course"
[21:07] <Safara> Oh God, she's trying to break your hand, Churchill. Luckily it ends before those knuckles finishpopping. "And them?" Oh yeah. She respects you guys, pilots.
[21:07] <@Sound_Only> Now hes giving orders just under his breath, in German. Technicians set to work carryingout his orders.
