  5. Sors Ultovex says, "Sur'."
  6. Chroma Zanders exclaims, "LETS GO!"
  7. Freya Vishkar asks, "Can I get a partner?"
  8. Von Lepopon says, "I am incapable of digesting food."
  9. Cho Grauhimmel says, "Sounds like quite the battle.."
  10. Von Lepopon asks, "How about I determine the rules for their fight?"
  11. Anna Ultovex whispers something.
  12. Cho lightly taps her cheek.
  13. (Cho Grauhimmel)
  14. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  15.
  16. Von Lepopon asks, "- Or are you fighting them?"
  17. Nate Kreed says, "No rules."
  18. Cho Grauhimmel says, "I'm not fighting them, tch.."
  19. Freya Vishkar says, "I'm not very good! I'd need a partner. "
  20. Cho Grauhimmel says, "They're fighting each other."
  21. Von Lepopon says, "Alrighty then."
  22. Freya Vishkar says, "Whaaaat! "
  23. Chroma Zanders says, "Oh. Uh..less cool."
  24. Cho Grauhimmel says, "Ah..Right, you are a child."
  25. Von Lepopon asks, "How about they are only able to attack with dashes?"
  26. Cho Grauhimmel asks, "Wow...You all wanted to fight me?"
  27. Artaghh says, "I mean."
  28. Artaghh says, "Yes."
  29. Chroma Zanders says, "Hell yeah."
  30. Freya Vishkar exclaims, "I like Candy!"
  31. Cho Grauhimmel says, "-..."
  32. Sors Ultovex whispers something.
  33. Artaghh exclaims, "Ye' are super strong!"
  34. Von Lepopon says, "Bash into eachother until the tougher man endures."
  35. Anna Ultovex whispers something.
  36. Cho Grauhimmel says, "Mh..."
  37. Anna Ultovex whispers something.
  38. Cho Grauhimmel says, "I wasn't expecting things to go this way. Fine."
  39. Cho Grauhimmel says, "What I'll do is this."
  40. Von Lepopon says, "Oh, she is fighting,"
  41. Cho Grauhimmel says, "No-..I'm not. I want to watch you all nearly kill each other, I'm bored."
  42. Cho Grauhimmel says, "So."
  43. Von Lepopon says, "She's not fighting."
  44. Chroma Zanders says, "Mehhhhhhh."
  45. Cho Grauhimmel asks, "Artaghh, Chroma..Do you feel like battling?"
  46. Von Lepopon whispers something.
  47. Artaghh says, "Yeah sure."
  48. Cho Grauhimmel says, "Hmh..."
  49. Artaghh says, "Square up."
  50. Sors Ultovex whispers something.
  51. Cho Grauhimmel says, "If you win, sure."
  52. Artaghh says, "I mean, I was talkin'ta Chroma, bu' hel yeah."
  53. Nate Kreed asks, "Chaaca sheds?"
  54. Cho Grauhimmel says, "If you win, you'll get a chance to go against Sors. Gives you the ability to get two candy canes...Assuming that he loses."
  55. Cho Grauhimmel says, "Anywho."
  56. Artaghh says, "Ooof."
  57. Chaaca Khan says, "Nope, that was from the fish."
  58. Artaghh says, "Sors is rough."
  59. Chroma Zanders says, "Hmn..."
  60. Artaghh says, "Bu' fair"
  61. Cho gestures to Artaghh.
  62. (Cho Grauhimmel)
  63. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  64.
  65. Cho Grauhimmel says, "Go on, battle him."
  66. Sors Ultovex says, "We'll watch how tha' goes too."
  67. Von Lepopon asks, "Where may Nyeshk be mined?"
  68. Chroma Zanders says, "I think you're overestimating how much i want this cane."
  69. Artaghh says, "Could go either way."
  70. Artaghh says, "We're abou' on par."
  71. Von Lepopon says, "..."
  72. Von Lepopon says, "Of course."
  73. Dylerun Grauhimmel whispers something.
  74. Nate's eyes shoot to the west, where a pink hooded figure stands in wait.
  75. (Nate Kreed)
  76. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  77.
  78. Cho Grauhimmel whispers something.
  79. Dylerun Grauhimmel whispers something.
  80. Chaaca Khan asks, "Right, so who feels like betting?"
  81. Freya sits by the statue, forming the Fomorian Golem around herself as she watches Artagh and Chroma fight, slowly pulling out her notebook to both sketch the fight and take notes on their technique.
  82. (Freya Vishkar)
  83. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  84.
  85. Cho Grauhimmel whispers something.
  86. Ser Artaghh would unsheathe his blade as he floated forth upon the coast's grass, igniting in a shroud of fiery, pulsating mana as he prepared to engage the red haired swordsman for the candied cane. It was a fair delight, and the bald paladin was bored. Why not.
  87. (Artaghh)
  88. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  89.
  90. Cho lightly pats Dylerun's cheek.
  91. (Cho Grauhimmel)
  92. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  93.
  94. Dylerun Grauhimmel whispers something.
  95. Cho Grauhimmel whispers something.
  96. Dylerun Grauhimmel whispers something.
  97. Cho Grauhimmel whispers something.
  98. Artaghh says, "Should be fun."
  99. Dylerun Grauhimmel whispers something.
  100. Chroma Zanders says, "Aye it's been forever."
  101. Dylerun Grauhimmel whispers something.
  102. Cho Grauhimmel whispers something.
  103. Dylerun Grauhimmel whispers something.
  104. Chroma would ignite in his vibrant and energetic Aura, he hadn't faced Artaghh in absolute ages, and was kind've curious to see how he'd fare. Unsheathing his Greatsword and taking to the sky, he'd narrow his sights on the bald Paladin, and see precisely what the man was made of.
  105.
  106. Understanding the differences between their two paths of energy, he'd have to utilize his own unique flair here....perhaps other attributes, in order to snag a possible victory.
  107.
  108. "Let's dance Artie. Hopefully you didn't forget the Sarradian Shuffle."
  109. (Chroma Zanders)
  110. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  111.
  112. Cho Grauhimmel whispers something.
  113. Cho turns back slightly, she chuckles.
  114. (Cho Grauhimmel)
  115. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  116. Dylerun Grauhimmel whispers something.
  117. Anna Ultovex asks, "Sarradian shuffle?"
  118. Cho Grauhimmel whispers something.
  119. Dylerun Grauhimmel whispers something.
  120. Dylerun Grauhimmel whispers something.
  121. Cho Grauhimmel whispers something.
  122. Cho Grauhimmel whispers something.
  123. Cho Grauhimmel says, "This is good..."
  124. Freya Vishkar says, "Incredible! "
  125. Dylerun silently peeks around Cho.
  126. (Dylerun Grauhimmel)
  127. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  128. Dylerun Grauhimmel whispers something.
  129. Dylerun Grauhimmel whispers something.
  130. Cho Grauhimmel whispers something.
  131. Freya is frantically sketching the various techniques of both fighters, especially their use of the Energy Burst.
  132. (Freya Vishkar)
  133. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  134. Cho Grauhimmel whispers something.
  135. Dylerun Grauhimmel whispers something.
  136. Cho shrugs her shoulders, the emerald lines upon her flesh aggressively intensifies as she closes her eyes. This is good..
  137. (Cho Grauhimmel)
  138. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  139.
  140. Chaaca Khan says, "Holy shit that was close."
  141. Cho Grauhimmel says, "Mh...The fish."
  142. Artaghh exclaims, "An' now I don' have to fight Sors. Bahahahaha!"
  143. Artaghh says, "HAve fun Chroma"
  144. Chroma Zanders says, "----"
  145. Nate would be caught being a keen observer of those who use latent energy as a power and talking to himself.
  146. (Nate Kreed)
  147. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  148.
  149. In might've been the manliest, and closest fight he'd had in the past decade, Chroma would pull out every single stop in his arsenal in order to squeeze out the slightest of edges. This each titanic clash their strikes would send literal BOOMS of wind, and vicera across the beach.
  150.
  151. Each titan of energy was vying for even the most minute of weaknesses, or edges that could secure them victory after all. However when the final, and arguably best match sprang forth, with all of his might the Red Paladin would push Artaghh back in a gust of pure manly sword magic--
  152.
  153. Dropping back down into the sand, he'd heave and cough up some blood and accept that the man would dash out from the dust and end him as he had in their youth....but he never did.
  154.
  155. Rising back up, Chroma would wear a smile and look over to the man as he rose himself with a small inkling of pride. "Hell of a match, Artaghh….hell of a fucking match..."
  156. (Chroma Zanders)
  157. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  158.
  159. Anna Ultovex says, "Chaaca."
  160. Chaaca Khan asks, "Yo?"
  161. Anna Ultovex asks, "What is a suitable time for you?"
  162. Ser Artaghh would meet blades with his first pupil, nodding steadily as each concussive blow was dealt in a a vicious, close combat melee of two ascended energy magi, a vicious clank of mithril and Nyeshk echoing through the field as each Paladin put forth their best efforts to seize the chance at a potential candied cane. Burst after burst of unyielding blows and massive waves of kinetic energy were exchanged before the battle finally reached its crescendo, the two swordsmen down to their last dregs.
  163.
  164. Blasted across the field in a tumble of banging mithril and shuffling clanks of internal plating, the bald paladin would lie singed on his back with a bark of laughter, well and truly defeated by the winner of the day. "The student has surpassed the master. Ye' walk yer own path now Ser Chroma. Walk proud."
  165. (Artaghh)
  166. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  167.
  168. Chaaca Khan asks, "Depends, when are you planning on going?"
  169. Cho Grauhimmel says, "How cute."
  170. Cho Grauhimmel says, "Come, come."
  171. Sors Ultovex asks, "So I'm up, ya?"
  172. Anna Ultovex says, "I don't know."
  173. Chaaca Khan says, "For the most part, I'm available whenever."
  174. Chroma Zanders says, "My thanks, Lady Cho."
  175. Chroma Zanders says, "This...is gonna fucking suck, behehe.."
  176. Sors Ultovex says, "Yeesh. All o' ya wit' ya special auras."
  177. Chroma Zanders says, "Oh don't..mr Army of Undead."
  178. Nate Kreed says, "They keep comin."
  179. Chroma Zanders asks, "Wh--Dean?"
  180. Chaaca Khan asks, "The guitar dude?"
  181. Chroma Zanders asks, "Aye....?"
  182. Anna Ultovex says, "I have no doubt Master. That candy will be yours."
  183. "All o' ya wit' ya special auras. Know how ta make someone jealous, huh?"
  184.
  185. A black gloved hand raises, the thumb and forefinger giving off a snap. In moments, a purple and green rift opens behind him, a small army entering the fields as the Whispering Eye is drawn from his back. Grey and gold stare Chroma down.
  186.
  187. "Ain't matter. I'll jus' have ta depend on ma own powers."
  188. (Sors Ultovex)
  189. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  190.
  191. Would look between Dean, and the other surrounding undead...with a half smirk, though quite an expectant one of what was to come. "Oh..yeah, and his....and his...and hers....and his...Behahah! Let's go!"
  192. (Chroma Zanders)
  193. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  194.
  195. Cho Grauhimmel says, "Impressive."
  196. Chroma Zanders says, "Ah, damn."
  197. Sors Ultovex says, "Suprizes only work once."
  198. Sors Ultovex says, "Then ya expect 'em."
  199. Artaghh says, "Yup."
  200. Chroma Zanders says, "Yeah. But benches..? Benches are eternal."
  201. Nate Kreed whispers something.
  202. Chroma Zanders says, "Great match though."
  203. Artaghh says, "Lookin'a three of the dragon hunters."
  204. Artaghh says, "Four if ye' count Chaaca."
  205. Artaghh says, "He's more'a a bard."
  206. Chaaca Khan says, "I was gonna say Dragon Bait, but I guess that works too."
  207. Freya Vishkar exclaims, "I want to hunt a dragon!"
  208. Artaghh says, "When yer older."
  209. Freya Vishkar exclaims, "Come onnnn!"
  210. Nate Kreed asks, "What about me?"
  211. Nate Kreed says, "I can pull it off."
  212. Artaghh says, "When yer stronger."
  213. Chroma Zanders says, "Don't tell Ohtli...."
  214. Gray Rosenkreuz says, "We should do a expedition on our own."
  215. Nate Kreed says, "Freya lets fuse."
  216. Gold and grey linger on Chroma's words about benches. The air of judgement is heavy, only distorted by the faint.
  217.
  218. "Rite. Great match."
  219.
  220. The rifts open once more as the undead army depart through it. One of the most useful arts there ever were for small army transport.
  221. (Sors Ultovex)
  222. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  223.
  224. Artaghh says, "Takin' the bes'ta the bes', goin'ta be dangerous."
  225. Nate Kreed says, "I am not entirely weak."
  226. Artaghh says, "Lotsa Drakan gladiators an'a giant energy dragon's the rumor'a a rumor."
  227. Artaghh says, "Goin'ta probably be a beast too."
  228. Anna Ultovex says, "That was wonderful Master."
  229. Sors Ultovex says, "Ain't too often, I spar. I agree."
  230. Cho Grauhimmel says, "Ah, right."
  231. Cho Grauhimmel says, "Come, come, Sors."
  232. Sors Ultovex says, "Thank ya kindly."
  233. Cho Grauhimmel says, "This was fun for me...Maybe I'll do more interesting things."
  234. Artaghh says, "IT was fun Cho."
  235. Artaghh says, "I like fightin' in the plaza when it's nae a real fight."
  236. Rolls is shoulder, then gives a bit of a nod to Cho happy to have given what little entertainment he could've surmounted. He'd return to his spot at the lightpost, and rest his eyes. Though he had a better idea.
  237.
  238. "I agree, thanks for the opportunity, I still have a lot of practice to do, though. Speaking of, I'm heading to the waterfall. Going to develop my training with this here Soulsteel."
  239. (Chroma Zanders)
  240. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  241.
  242. Chaaca Khan says, "Aaaaaaand I'm comin' with."
  243. Chroma Zanders says, "Alright."
  244. Chaaca Khan says, "Lead the way."
  245.
  246. Ser Artaghh would wave to Paladin Chroma Zanders, his own Squire Chaaca Khan, and the gray church squire Syracuse Fengari. He'd arrived here for the same reasons as they'd all gathered, and in truth, meditation was nice with company. Levitating upwards as the bald paladin crossed his legs and turned his gaze towards the beautiful, moonlit lake, Artaghh would ignite forth in a blaze of fire and shut his remaining eye, letting his mithril cuirass clatter to the dirt and exposing his burns to cool air with a light sigh. It felt good.
  247. (Artaghh)
  248. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  249.
  250. Chaaca nodded to Chroma, as he set his fishing rod down. His orders were kinda strange, but he supposed they made sense. This was more than likely some for of endurance practice, to see how long he could continuously sustain his music. Right, so it should be all that hard.
  251.
  252. With a quick flick of his wrist his cloak was removed, which was quickly followed by his Armor. "Gnh.." He'd say as he glanced down at charred right arm. His arm was fully functional now, but the burn had left a rather horrible scar.
  253.
  254. He'd glance over at Syracuse before shaking his head. "I think you misunderstood what he meant. He wanted us to beat the shit out of each other while he meditated." As he said this a radiant aura of light erupted out of the bard.
  255.
  256. "No weapons, no armor, just magic and fists."
  257.
  258. With that being stated, Chaaca brought his lips together as he began to hum a rather slow and haunting tune. One that he had finished writing a little while ago. He'd raise his fist up as he entered a very basic hand to hand combat stance, as his music began to increase in volume.
  259. (Chaaca Khan)
  260. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  261.
  262. Raised a brow, well that was a lot easier than trying to sink up with someone else. Standing back up he'd square off against the fish man. Raising his own fists up to in a simple Valmasian boxing stance.
  263.
  264. "Fantastic, I've no complaints then."
  265.
  266. He'd take a quick half-step forward after he'd spoken. Not wasting any time as he simply sought to begin the fight by ramming his forehead against the fishman's own. What better way to start a fight than using your head after all?
  267. (Syracuse Fengari)
  268. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  269. Punch after punch after punch aft-, you get the point. Chaaca and Syracuse were throwing everything they had at each other. With each punch form Syracuse that connected with him, he felt himself lose grasp on his song. The melody of the song kept wavering the more damage he took. At the begging of the battle it was quite the slow and beautiful song.
  270.
  271. That changed by the end of the second round. Off note, after another off note, after ano-, I'm sure you get the point. His notes were flat, and in all honesty, it sounded like shit, and that bothered him. He was a master bard for goodness sake! His music should never sound this bad, yet here he was in the middle of combat playing the worst song of his life.
  272.
  273. In all honesty, he should have lost this fight, his mind was not in it, not one bit. Luckily for him, his opponent was a good deal weaker than him. Not that it made the fight easier mind you, Syracuse beat his ass across the small training area.
  274.
  275. With a frown spreading across his face, Chaaca knew that he needed to finish things fast. He'd dash away from Syracuse for a moment, to gain the distance he needed for his most powerful attack. He needed to be incredibly precise for this. He saw his opportunity as Syracuse rushed at him. He'd lean back as he extended his right leg forward for a powerful kick, which connected with the poor Neries' chin.
  276.
  277. The Sweet Chin Music had landed, and with that the battle was over... Yet he didn't feel like he won. He shook his head as he made his way over to Syracuse to offer him assistance with getting back up.
  278.
  279. He needed to learn how to play his music while fighting, and he'd need to figure it out soon, or else he'd be beyond useless during their dragon hunt.
  280. (Chaaca Khan)
  281. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  282.
  283. Raised a hand up to his jaw, rolling it in it's sockets for a second as he heard the thing pop. Ouch, shoulda asked for no face hits. A mistake he'd live to regret he was sure, well better the chin than his face itself.
  284.
  285. Looking up he take the proffered hand, using the leverage to heft himself back up. With the fishy feeler still in hand he'd give it a mighty shake. That roguish grin returning to his features, such a punchable face.
  286.
  287. "I've gotta say, your mana tastes delicious. I've never seen, let alone fought, a melodious mage before."
  288. (Syracuse Fengari)
  289. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  290.
  291. Chaaca raised an eyebrow.
  292. (Chaaca Khan)
  293. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  294.
  295. Chaaca Khan asks, "Thanks?"
  296. Syracuse Fengari says, "No problem."
  297. Ser Artaghh would silently meditate upon the days events and his general being as he slowly allowed his consciousness to fade into a meditative trance, the pulsating energy around him becoming a dull, warm blanket as slowly but steadily, each of the aching pangs of the bald paladin's wounds would slowly be deafened, the willful effort of focus key from the many hours of practice the swordsman had received with all the hecticness of his recent adventures in Agartha.
  298.
  299. As the mass of mithril hovered lightly above the ground with his legs crossed, he contemplate his loss in particular. It had proven many things, to be truthful. One, that Ser Chroma had finally become a man in his own right, and seized manly energy for his own pursuits! It was glorious, ideal, the exact circumstance a former master could desire of their pupil.
  300.
  301. But it also made one thing very clear. Ser Artaghh was no longer in his prime. While his vast reserves of energy and raw, peasant grit allowed himto match up to par with his fellow paladins in battle, the wounds he'd taken had accumulated with vicious toll to the bald man. The costs of these dangerous actious were simply part of being a man, but even still, they weighed upon the man greatly as he meditated calmly upon the lake shore.
  302. (Artaghh)
  303. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  304.
  305. Chaaca reached down and grabbed his armor, cape, and staff, and slowly puts them back on. "I'm not really one hundred percent on what you just said, but eh... I'm sure it's a complement!" The Sirenian would have plenty of time to sort out his musical combat prowess, so right now he wouldn't dwell on it as much as he probably should. Right now he was just happy to be in the company of his friends. He'd chuckle a bit as he extended a fist towards his new pal, Syracuse.
  306.
  307. "Fist bump me, bro?"
  308. (Chaaca Khan)
  309. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  310. Chroma Zanders asks, "Alright...let's all head back, mnh?"
  311. Chroma Zanders says, "Got what I needed out of this I think...saw Terraheim."
  312. Chroma Zanders says, "Like I said."
  313. Chroma Zanders says, "Spirit Mountains are something else."
  314. Chaaca Khan says, "I have some things I need to work out, but yea, this was pretty productive."
  315. Returned the fist bump smoothly, before looking over at Chroma. He'd start to get his gear back on and follow along.
  316.
  317. "Was enjoyable enough, no complaints here."
  318. (Syracuse Fengari)
  319. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  320.
  321. Ser Artaghh would meditate for hours as the young Squires and the Paladin did their own methods of training by the coast, calmly returning his mind to a state of clarity and robust determination while banishing any doubts he'd previously had. Limits were a joke he'd broken many times before, and even injured, the bald, burnt paladin would seize the apex mastery of energy magic, even if he was all made of mithril by then. The swordsman didn't know how to give up, after all.
  322.
  323. He would steadily return to the ground with a steady nod to his peers, ready to join them in his return to town with renewed confidence.
  324. (Artaghh)
  325. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  326.
  327. Chaaca Khan says, "Chroma, I think you forgot to put your armor back on."
  328. Artaghh says, "Ye' degenerate."
  329. Chroma sprawls out against the statue.
  330. (Chroma Zanders)
  331. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  332.
  333. Chroma Zanders asks, ". . .Eh?"
  334. Chroma Zanders says, "Oh shit
