- Ki Techniques!
- They were subtle things in the Ranma 1/2 manga, but everywhere once you knew where to look. Things like standing on surfaces that were way to fragile to hold your weight, doing that whole jumping thing where you always ended up landing exactly where you wanted, punching in ways that launched blasts of wind even when you didn't use enough force for such a thing-and you knew a thing or two about that given you could literally punch hard enough to launch hypersonic balls of air-and of course the sheer level of durability so many things displayed. That's not even mentioning the more blatantly obvious ones like the Amaguriken, the Bakusai Tenketsu, the Hiryu Shoten Ha, the Shi-Shi Hokodan and Moko Takabisha, and so many more. For a magus like you, it was like an all-you-could-eat buffet for new ideas, techniques, and research paths.
- ...but that was your perspective as a magus. You're more than a magus though; you're a ten year old kid. And it felt...sad, that you would subordinate your own fun and relaxation time further your self-development even as the rest of your existence seemed to revolve around that at times. You were more than just Optimization, after all, but you really weren't feeling it with how easily you jumped back into self-optimizing. This didn't stop you from working out some basic ki-techniques from the manga and adding them to your repetoire of spells, but still.
- You really need some actual break time one of these days.
- (Od Manipulation renamed Ki Manipulation! Learned Ki Manipulation Technique: Anime Physics! Steps are lighter, jumps go where you want them, punches throw balls of wind, and clothes rarely if ever gets damaged!)
