[02:26] Ser Baeron Turnbull appears to be standing alone on the stone path at his intimidating height. An old man appears to be sprawled out along the bench while drinking from a flask.

Lotlhuitl crunched pavement underfoot as she walked up to the tall knight. Metal tread gripped the pavement, which was lightly icy.

Servants had to regularly clear the path. The snow had stopped for the moment, but it would surely start up again. Lotlhuitl shivered, drawing her cloak closer to her willowy form.

"I looked out the window and saw you both out here. What are you doing? It's freezing out here."

The Nagual had wrapped her fluffy tail around her bare waist beneath her cloak. Her cloak glowed, steaming with energy from the runes which were really all that kept her from freezing up here in Tongyishan.

[02:49] Lotlhuitl.

"Greetings m'lady." The knight gazes down at the Gehennan woman who could have used a few extra layers of clothing if anything. Old man Oswald is used to this weather if anything, having spend most of their youth in an area frozen over. He continued to drink haphazardly.

"Mayhaps I should return inside." A large hand extends to lightly rub the surface of the woman's cloak for a brief moment. "Good material."

[03:07] Lotlhuitl's cloak was thick and woollen, with runes glowing on both sides of the material. The Nagual peered up at Baeron. Shivering. The Nagual wasn't still as she stood next to him. She kept moving, almost as if she were dancing in place. The sound of metal jostling against metal came from the woman, along with the sound of her boots crunching against the pavement.

Perhaps he should return inside? "If you've come here to speak with me, then that would be preferable."

A slight laugh rolled from her lips, as she cast her gaze out towards the view. "Either that, or I will have to do something a bit more vigorous. If I stand still, I'll freeze."

His hands at her cloak pulled the material slightly away from her body, revealing the woman's rich brown skin. Goosebumps. Her tail twitched.

[03:14] "I cannot have you freezing, m'lady."

Had he come here to speak with the woman? Not quite. Though if such is required of him, he will need to find another time. Another day. She is definitely what Oswald would describe as a maiden fair, but Ser Baeron would rather not dissuade himself from performing his duties.

"Apologies. Mayhaps we can have a discussion about our vision when I return from my short trip." A large hand intends to grasp her own, lowering himself before pressing the backside of the hand against his own forehead under the hood.

Just what is he?

He releases the woman's hand and lumbers off southwards. Baeron allows Old man Oswald to remain sprawled out against the bench. "Fare thee well, m'lady."

Thud.

[03:28] Lotlhuitl might have smiled, if she was the smiling sort at his words. He couldn't have her freezing, huh?

The cloak fell back into place.

Lotlhuitl had stiffened as Baeron's hand reached for her own, her breath catching in her throat. She wasn't expecting the knight to reach for her hand, and neither was she expecting him to press her hand against his forehead.

The Nagual's ears had flicked as she regarded the strange knight. And yet, she didn't pull away.

Green eyes watched Baeron leave, her voice soft as she gave him a farewell of her own.

"Time's grace, Ser Baeron."

And then she turned, returning inside the warmth within Mountain Peak Inn.

[03:40] Lotlhuitl says, "Sure, I'll contribute something to your box."
[03:41] Lotlhuitl asks, "A time capsule, is it?"

[03:42] Jacker Chong says, "Just write onto the paper."
[03:42] Demetrius looked southwards, then went back to minding his own business.

[03:42] Masumi Ten-Tsao says, "I've got no paper."
[03:42] Jacker Chong says, "Put your signature on it."
[03:42] Jacker Chong says, "Hand it to Lotlhuitl when you finish."
[03:42] Lotlhuitl says, "Oh, the same piece of paper? Aha.. I was going to write my own note."
[03:42] Jacker Chong says, "You can."
[03:42] Jacker Chong says, "It doesn't matter."
[03:42] Jacker Chong says, "Its just a good bit of fun."
[03:43] Jacker Chong says, "I'm going to look in my shop for something to jam in."

[04:04] Begins filling the hole with dirt covering the chest full of random letters.

[04:05] Jacker Chong says, "Yep, maybe people in the future will remember us stranger."
[04:07] Lotlhuitl says, "... perhaps."
[04:07] Demetrius stares off into the distance.

[04:08] Jacker Chong says, "Oh well."
[04:18] Xin says, "Hi."
[04:23] Demetrius glances at Xin a moment. ". . . Hi."

[04:29] A smile plays at Xin's lips. A heavyset teen with thick arms and tree trunk thighs donning purple tinted armor. Strapped to his back is a fat hunk of steel he affectionately calls a sword. "How's it going?"

[04:34] The teen looks over at Xin, his own body well defined, tan skin and facial structure marking him to be of Gehennan descent, though his ears and tail suggest a Valmasian twist as well, the man was an Ookami after all. His red hair was lengthy, not having been cut in his entire life.

"It is going."

He had few words, for the time, there was little he was certain of.

[04:39] Lotlhuitl says, "Haruhi.."
[04:39] Haruhi Noriega exclaims, "Lotlhuitl!"
[04:39] Lotlhuitl moved through the crowd to awkwardly stand next to the redheaded Kitsune..

[04:44] Haruhi happily saunters over to meet Lotlhuitl's approach! Her face is hidden by the mask, but she seems quite content and upbeat if her demeanor is any indication.

[04:46] Xin extends to Demetrius a thumbs up, taking a few lengthy strides in his direction. Feels weird to be talking to someone from across the street. While negotiating the cobblestone he notices a head of blonde hair out of the corner of his eyes, and a familiar face to go with it. Alliah.

Only a single glance though before he gives the new guy his attention. "Right. Up it is. Nice hair. Are you a fighter?"

[04:49] Demetrius watches Xai quietly, the man's attire was simple and covering, leaving room for maneuverability. What was this, complementing his hair? Well then. The young man simply shrugged.

"I am."

Though no weapon was present on his being, either too poor to afford one, or perhaps he had no need for them.

[04:54] Alliah resigns herself to leaning upon the lamppost, watching the nearby figures in the square. Of particular interest is the black-haired male who's every movement rattles his armor. When their gaze inevitably meets, she doesn't look away but rather retains their alignment. What shame is there in looking, anyways?

[05:02] The dragon-teen's lips fall flat. And he seems the opposite when compared to Demetrius when regarding attire. A perfect contrast, Xin couldn't possibly be nimble in all that heavy gear. "You don't have a weapon though." he notices.

"I'm Xin by the way. What's your name?"

[05:05] The masked Kitsune was given a rare smile, as Lotlhuitl stopped in her approach gestured to the crossroad market place.

"Watch this."

The Nagual runescribe danced.

Hips swaying, the beat marked out with metal jostling against metal. Jewellery. Lotlhuitl wore lots of it. Gold and silver and bronze and coloured glass and bones. Metal caught the light, shining, gleaming.

Blood.

The woman marked out a large rune with her own blood, sticky dark red ichor bubbling up between the gaps in her metal gauntlets. It was perhaps alarming for those who hadn't seen her work rune magic before. But it was also over quickly. Mana sinking into the runes, swiftly glowing blue.

Done!

"Once this has set, we should go out on patrol."

[05:07] Demetrius lifts his hands up into the air before him, elbows bent to show the man the backs of his hands. His sleeves fell to show his toned arms, his fingernails pointed and sharp, almost like a well used and under-whet dagger's edge.

"Fists. No money for a weapon."

His voice showed hints of intelligence, but his demeanor simply put his words in the most simplistic manners that he could.

[05:08] Demetrius lowered his hands a few moments later. "Demetrius."

[05:12] Haruhi watches the little dance with excitement. The blood isn't anything to make her squeamish, of course - that would just be silly, for one blood mage to another. In fact, she's tempted to perhaps add a little bit of her own blood into the mix, but she simply takes a step back and lets the woman do her work.

No doubt, Lotlhuitl can see Haruhi mimicking a few of the movements she saw the runescribe make in the process... but of course, once all it said and done, Haruhi brings all such motions to a halt.

Though Lotlhuitl has likely already seen it, the Kitsune's actions betray a little bit of bashfulness.

"Patrol? Sounds dangerous..."

Her tone implies she's not entirely serious.

[05:13] Xin looks upon the Ookami's hands. Fingernails like claws, Xin can't help but smirk to himself, it might be interpreted as rude. But really he's just reminiscing. He crosses his arms much like a sage might.

"I wish I hadn't of thrown my old sword away now. I could've helped you out. If I were you, I'd go cut down some trees. Sell the wood, then go to the stalls south of here and see if there's anything good to buy."

[05:13] Amyas White says, "Aren't you Xitalli's friend? I'm sure she described you to me."
[05:14] Lotlhuitl asks, "W-what? Xitlalli???"
[05:14] Amyas White says, "Yeah."
[05:14] Lotlhuitl had been about to continue making banter with Haruhi, but instead she spun around.

[05:14] Amyas White says, "You know.. Purple-ish hair, thick thighs. Sin lust."
[05:14] Lotlhuitl asks, "Where is she? Is.. is she well?"

[05:15] Haruhi sli i i i i i ides her gaze over to Amyas, before hopping over right next to Lotlhuitl. Side by side.

[05:15] Amyas White says, "Last I saw her she was using a dude as as a chair, so I'd say she fares very well."
[05:15] Lotlhuitl says, "... I'd hardly forget Xitlalli."

[05:16] Demetrius slowly shook his head. Why was everyone so keen on cutting down the trees? Did they not know that winter would only worsen if the trees were all gone?

"Winter comes. Trees shelter the forests. The forests feed the animals. The animals work and feed the people."

[05:16] Amyas White asks, "Lot-something-l is your name, yeah?"
[05:16] Lotlhuitl nodded.

[05:17] Amyas White says, "Yep, that."
[05:17] Amyas White says, "She misses you a lot."
[05:17] Haruhi waves her right hand in an arc from her stomach to the right side of her head, before wiggling her fingers back and forth.

[05:17] Lotlhuitl says, "..."
[05:17] Lotlhuitl says, "I miss her too."
[05:18] Amyas White says, "Yeah, she hates your husband a lot, too."
[05:18] Lotlhuitl says, "... not surprising."
[05:18] Haruhi Noriega says, "That's probably a good thing."
[05:19] Amyas White asks, "Xoconan, yes?"
[05:19] Lotlhuitl says, "She tried to warn me about him."
[05:19] Lotlhuitl says, "Yeah, that's the bastard."
[05:19] Lotlhuitl says, "Everyone did. But, ah. The heart cannot help what it wants, I suppose."

[05:21] Amyas White says, "Anaxes, despite being demon took care of me and showed me how to control my magic when no other human would-.."

[05:21] Amyas White says, "I saw him kill Anaxes."

[05:21] Haruhi Noriega exclaims, "WELL!"
[05:21] Xin slowly blinks at Demetrius. He'd never thought of it like that. Truth be told, he's not thought of the repercussions at all. The young man thoughtfully rubs his chin. "There are a lot of trees, though. And people need firewood for heat. Most of our food comes from the farmers as well. It isn't that big of a deal."

[05:21] Haruhi taps her spear to the ground! It's probably quite familiar to dear Amyas.

[05:22] Amyas White says, "Well, better in your hands than his."
[05:22] Lotlhuitl says, "... Haruhi would have slain Anaxes, too."
[05:22] Lotlhuitl says, "Anaxes killed her mother."
[05:22] Haruhi Noriega says, "Absolutely. I didn't get the spear from Xoconan, though."
[05:22] Haruhi Noriega says, "Just the one who helped him kill the Archon."
[05:23] Amyas White says, "It was war back then, I hold no will to avenge anyone if that makes any sense."
[05:23] Lotlhuitl says, "..."
[05:23] Haruhi Noriega says, "Of course you hold no will to avenge anyone if you haven't lost anyone."
[05:23] Lotlhuitl arched a brow.

[05:23] Haruhi Noriega exclaims, "In any case!"
[05:23] Lotlhuitl says, "If you don't desire vengeance, well."
[05:24] Haruhi Noriega says, "My affairs are settled."
[05:24] Amyas White says, "Mhm."
[05:24] Lotlhuitl says, "That's good. I would frown on anyone threatening Haruhi."
[05:24] Haruhi Noriega asks, "I'll not interject them in hers, ah?"
[05:24] Lotlhuitl says, "... where is Xitlalli."
[05:24] Demetrius simply stood in place, there was no point in a rebuttal after all. No matter how prolonged the spring, winter would always follow and precede. His eyes moved from the man, then to the women in the central square, slowly passing over the scant crowds of non-magi, passing by eve Alliah and Lucan before finally returning to the teen before him.

[05:24] Lotlhuitl asks, "Does she want me?"
[05:25] Lotlhuitl seemed not to notice her poor phrasing..

[05:25] Amyas White says, "She wanted to see you but, she said she couldn't because of Xoconan."
[05:26] Lotlhuitl says, "Xoconan has a long list of people he wants to murder. I've replaced Xitlalli as number one on that list. "
[05:26] Lotlhuitl says, "Well, I assume."
[05:26] Lotlhuitl says, "I'm not privy to listen to his list making any longer."
[05:26] Haruhi circles around Lotlhuitl, brushing past her and disturbing her cloak in the process. At the end of the motion, she does a little twirl, before settling her gaze upon Amyas.

[05:26] Amyas White asks, "He keeps a list?"
[05:27] Lotlhuitl says, "Not a pen and paper one."
[05:27] Haruhi Noriega whispers: Obligatory mention of being careful around Lust - even if you're quite familiar with this one. Perhaps ESPECIALLY so, since you're familiar with her. I'd rather not lose you to that...
[05:27] Demetrius says, "Work. Mass together. Magic of flame. These are more lasting than the momentary flame of the felling of a tree."
[05:30] Lyukyu idly thumped his tail against the ground.

[05:30] The teenager eyeballs Demetrius. Judging by his silence, it's safe to assume Xin agrees to disagree.

[05:36] Lotlhuitl whispers: I have to see her again..
[05:38] Haruhi Noriega whispers: Seeing her is fine. Getting naked with her, on the other hand...

[05:38] Demetrius turns back to gaze eastward, awaiting the rising sun no doubt, seeing as how the conversation had ended.

[05:39] Lotlhuitl says, "I.. Haruhi, I wouldn't. I.. I might be a fool, but even that would be beyond me.."
[05:39] Lotlhuitl looked vaguely embarassed, even raising a gauntletted hand to rub behind a fluffy ear..

[05:41] Lyukyu continued thumping his tail against the ground, only paying half-attention to the lingering conversations in the square.

[05:43] Haruhi's expression is as well-hidden as the most distant eldritch mysteries, but the little giggle of amusement that escapes from behind the mask offers an eldritch hint to those mysteries.

She raises a hand as if to mess with the same fluffy ear - but after some consideration, she lets it fall back down to her side.

[05:43] Haruhi Noriega whispers: Merely worrying.
[05:43] Haruhi Noriega whispers: ... and teasing.
[05:45] Xin similarly shifts his gaze. He walks away, calmly twisting and turning through the steadfastly accumulating crowd. Only to abruptly stop in front of Alliah. But without a smile in this circumstance. And without a word of greeting, it's as if he's testing the waters. Presumably waiting to see if she'll tell him to go away.

[05:47] Kayn Erudon says, "Mmm..mm.."
[05:48] Kayn Erudon says, "I didn't expect to see you down here so soon, Haruhi."
[05:48] Haruhi Noriega says, "Well, I tend to get around, you know. Blizzards or not."
[05:49] Kayn Erudon says, "Fair enough. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your Inn; it was quite comfortable."
[05:49] With the light of the morning star a desire of the distant future, Demetrius's body began to spout flames along his exposed flesh, wandering off to meet the cold of the land away from the heated crowds present.

[05:50] Haruhi Noriega asks, "Not needed any longer, then?"
[05:50] Kayn Erudon says, "<* shakes his head no.*> "
[05:50] Kayn Erudon says, "We've been gone for a while now."
[05:50] Lotlhuitl gave Haruhi a somewhat withering look, though, admittedly, her heart just wasn't in it. People were looking! The Nagual was embarrassed by public displays of affection, and so she was relieved that Haruhi desisted.

"It will be fine."

Would it?

Who could say. The future was uncertain.

Lotlhuitl placed a hand on her hip, regarding Amyas. Who had gone silent. Her green gaze slid from the masked man (suspicious, but since he could hook her up with Xitlalli, she'd let it slide).

"Who's this?" Lotlhuitl nodded at Kayn. "...Did he check out without paying?"

[05:51] Haruhi Noriega says, "I allowed him and his friends to stay for free for awhile, as a favor to Ikkaku."
[05:51] Haruhi Noriega says, "Special circumstances."
[05:51] Lotlhuitl snorted.

[05:52] Lotlhuitl says, "You keep that up, and you'll go out of business.."
[05:52] Kayn Erudon says, "I call it Ikkaku being a little too careful...But anything to keep him happy I suppose."
[05:52] Haruhi Noriega exclaims, "The Inn makes enough money to run itself!"
[05:52] Lotlhuitl asks, "What were the circumstances..?"
[05:52] Lotlhuitl asks, "Wedding?"
[05:52] Kayn Erudon says, "No."
[05:52] Lotlhuitl says, "Hmn.."
[05:52] Kayn Erudon says, "He wanted me to stay up there until things in Ardent 'cooled down'."
[05:52] Lotlhuitl asks, "Cooled down?"
[05:53] Haruhi Noriega whispers: Fugitive status.
[05:53] Lotlhuitl asks, "What you do, hit on a shrine maiden?"
[05:53] Kayn Erudon says, "Mhm. I killed a man here and he feared that they'd try to hunt me down."

[05:53] Lotlhuitl asks, "Heh. He deserve it, the one you killed?"
[05:53] Haruhi Noriega says, "Here I was keeping it vague..."

[05:53] Lotlhuitl asks, "Did he hit on a shrine maiden?"
[05:53] Kayn Erudon says, "He was with the Demons, so yes."

[05:56] Haruhi seems to take some small, deliberate effort to remove herself from the conversation. She moves closer to Lotlhuitl, right next to her side, with her gaze a little lower than eye-level.

[05:56] Lotlhuitl tilted her head, regarding Kayn.

[05:56] Lotlhuitl asks, "Was it a hard fight, then?"
[05:56] Lotlhuitl asks, "This fellow was a real danger to Ardent Cliff's security?"
[05:56] Lotlhuitl says, "Why would he have to hide out at the inn, Haruhi."
[05:56] Kayn Erudon says, "Not particularly for me. My flames dealt with his ice with ease."
[05:56] Haruhi Noriega whispers: I'd like to forget most things like this. Focus on the future...

[05:56] Lotlhuitl says, "So this fellow killed someone.."

[06:01] Haruhi Noriega says, "I ought to create some new titles to hand out to folks, but I might need a greater one myself, first."
[06:02] Kayn Erudon asks, "Greater? What's your current title?"
[06:02] Haruhi Noriega says, "Well, I'm the Lady of Tongyishan, of course."

Both holy and occultic waters fill the field, coming together and striking a common foe.

The two watched, bewildered.

"What the fuck is going on." Lotlhuitl muttered, ears flicking backwards.

She wore a mask.

White and blue. Feline.

Lotlhuitl had carved it herself.

Like the mask she had carved for Haruhi, it was shaped from wood. Painted with white paint, a pigment derived from Orchilacum. Blue markings.

Runes sat against her face, giving her eyes a distinct green glow.

"... hot blooded young men. Fighting." Lotlhuitl muttered to Haruhi, her voice muffled by the mask now at her face.

"Wait. Is that?"

She recognised his coat. The young man who had spoke of Xitlalli. Who was her link to the sin of lust. Was he dead? Slain, before he could fulfil his purpose?

"No."

[08:34] The two water magi synergized with eachother greatly, drawing from their pools to create devastating combination attacks. The crashing waves were as fierce as traversing the ocean in a heavy storm. They had control of the battlefield, extinguishing his flames and making quick work of the shadowflame user. They couldn't burn, not under these conditions.

The combination of holy and occultic waters spelled destruction for everything in it's path as well. The clashing polar opposites created a volatile and dangerous reaction, with Kayn placed in the middle. This was what made Ikkaku and Elizabeth so frightening when they worked on the same side.

Ikkaku's booming speech and handling of Kayn was something that she'd leave alone, not offering her input. She resonated with his feelings exactly, so what was the purpose? Elizabeth approached Amyas, crouching down and aiming to pick the defeated hellstorm user up off of the ground and relocate him. Bridal style!

"It's going to be okay, mister."

[08:39] Amyas was still in a world of pain, his breathing was very shallow due to the fact he just got his rib-cage caved in, the only thing he realizes that he's being carried away. He blinks twice as he comes back to his senses, noticing that Elizabeth is carrying him like her own bride. The young man blushes, this was more embarassing than defeat, but by all means he could use all the help he could get.

"T-thank you-.." He couldn't keep himself up any longer, simply falling asleep, he could use the rest; the past week was too rough on him, he hadn't slept at all, perhaps Kayn did the young man a favor with the free ass-whooping? You never know.

Doozing off into the world of dreams, Amyas was responsive, so there was no fear of any lethal injury, that's for sure.

[08:45] Well, that had been a leisurely stroll, but given everything that had been going on with Kayn lately, seeing him embroiled in conflict hardly causes Haruhi all too much surprise. However, the sight of Elizabeth and Ikkaku fighting against him...

well, he probably deserved it, didn't he, if those two were on one side and he was on the other?

Haruhi stands next to Lotlhuitl with her weapon at the ready for the case of violence not solving itself. Her expression is obscured by the mask she wears, but her stance shows some degree of tension.

[08:45] And thus their epic battle began..!

Kayn moved swiftly, using his magic to aid him in avoiding the first few initial attacks. Waves came in crashing around Kayn's form, occultic and holy water alike. The malevolent gales that swirled around his form acted as a barrier of sorts, moving the waters around him --that is until he's overwhelmed by their combined efforts.

Tried as hard as he did, he couldn't evade them for long. Between Ikkaku's sound magic throwing him off and Elizabeth's mastery over the earth, he would be brought down. Even his flames couldn't burn for too long before being extinguished by their magics.

Ikkaku's voice boomed through the air, amplified by sound magic for extra effect as he preached to Kayn what he should be doing. What he -should- be using -his- magic power for. Picking himself up, he glared towards Ikkaku for a moment, spitting off to the side before speaking.

"How naïve can you be, IKKAKU?! First of all, there is no law in this God-forsaken town. The Coalition is against us and the Fourfold is no more, so drop that righteous attitude of yours." he hissed, winds gathering around his person once again.

"And second, can't you see that -is- what I'm doing? That man was once a part of Ardent and left it to join the Demons and now he claims that it was too much for him so he's back? It's BULLSHIT! For all we know he could be a threat to us all. What if he brings the Demons here and lays waste to the town, Ikkaku? WHAT THEN?! I can use my magic how I see fit, and if it's used to kill scum like him then so be it. I'm not going with you..and I will not be detained."

A finger is thrusts towards Amyas now as he spoke. "Take him with you, and keep a close eye on him...Because if I see him alone he is dead Ikkaku, dead!" That said, the violent winds around his form picked up even more now, gathering around him before being formed into a massive shockwave, pushing most people who surrounded them back suddenly.

And with that, Kayn would escape, leaving the scene to rest.

The last words murmured as the sky blue eyes track Kayn's departure. The masked one turned, walking over to Elizabeth.

"Let's.. Get him to the church.."

"Right, Ikkaku." she spoke to him, parting with a nod as she made towards Iustus with haste. Amyas would be held like a baby the whole way. How degrading..

He grabs Achilles's face from the side and forces it around to face him slightly then begins barking into his face quite violently like a angry dog. Lyukyu says

Spit streams from his mouth and lands on Achilles cheeks and goes into the teenagers eyes, strings of it can be seen running down his cheek then stretching from the teenager's chin in long strings until it hits the ground, some of it soaking into his clothes instead.

"He seemed reasonable to me, but he might just try to up and leave. We gotta cover all of our bases."

They looked towards Elizabeth. ".. Right.. I'm on it."

Their hand moved into a pocket, then would move towards Amyas' neck. A click sound could be heard.

"It's sad when people are so willing to kill. I think an untimely end might be beneficial for Kayn, if I'm honest. If not for him, then for all the people around him.

This sensation was all too familiar to him, pain and weakness never left him.

The cigarette was placed between his lips and iginited by faint usage of fire magic, barely.

"Thank you..." Amyas spoke, addressing the group... "But you should've let me die off, I've done things that can not be forgiven, I hurt my friends, I hurt everyone around me-.. I'm trash, everything that Kayn said was true..."

[09:49] Amyas would then sigh, grabbing the cigarette, barely able to move his arm up, being exhuasted and all, he'd squash it between his thumb and index finger, litting it off; his skill with fire magic allowed him to resist burns more thoroughly, albeit it did not help him much in the fight against Kayn, it did help with minor stuff.

"Right..." That's all he replied, resting his head against the the wall, looking forward at the group.

"My name is Amyas White. My mother got killed in the Gehennan raid on Avalon, I lived up in Volcano settlement for a while, up until Ardent gave themselves up for the Gehennans, which made me get off my ass and leave to fight in Zaruma's war agaisnt said Gehennans, I was driven by vengence and anger, I couldn't stand by and watch as Gehennans swung their dick around Ardent as if they owned the place."

His gaze would trail over to Lotlhuitl for a moment.

"No offense, by the way. Her ex husband killed my mentor, Anaxes, a demon that did nothing but help me hone my skills. And then another Jianghese got killed, a friend I valued, Tuwile if any of you know him. He died because of me, because I got him to Aetherius so we could hang out at the time. He was the only friend I had and I ended up, even if unintentionally, killing him because of my blinded state to seek vengence for my people. Tell me, someone who loses everyone in order to further his own goals, his own gain. How could someone like that not be trash?"

I will say it again. Have Geese try him for what he has done. Only when that has happened will I let him be freed from the collar.

They would walk towards the church's exit.

[09:58] Lotlhuitl had snorted at Amyas' mentioning of Gehennans swinging their dicks around. The Nagual's ears had pinned backwards, not so much in regards to Amyas' words.

The playfulness, the cheer. It was aggravating to the gloomy Nagual. "Oh, fucking get over it." She snarled, rolling her eyes at Amyas.

"So what? You're trash, kid."

Lotlhuitl was blunt, her arms crossed in front of her chest. She gave an intense stare to each and every single person in the room. Including Haruhi. They'd all been trying to cheer up Amyas. Some of the advice was perhaps even useful. But, honestly? Lotlhuitl struggled to think that any of them really understood what Amyas was going through.

What she was going through.

"But don't worry, I'm trash too. So you're in good company."

Her hands were on her hips. She stood, standing next to the kid. "You gonna share a cigarette?" She muttered, holding a hand out to Amyas.

She watched Ikkaku leave. Called out to the young man as his back was turned to her.

"Who's fucking good, anyway? So he's made some mistakes. He might be a man grown now, but.. look at him. Who didn't make stupid decisions when they were a kid? Ardent needs soldiers. If he's going to stand with us, well. I think he should be forgiven. If he's being judged, you might as well tell Geese to put me on fucking trial."

"As Ikkaku said, you've done bad things. You're not innocent by any stretch of the imagination, and I realize that. So, Ikkaku is right." she nodded.

"Geese is a good man, so I'm sure that he'll put you on the right path to making right of what you've done. I trust his judgement. I don't think that you'll be dying, mister. Especially since you came here peacefully." she weighed in. "I do think we need all of the help we can get, though. And Geese probably knows that too."

[10:13] This particular discussion of innocence and lack thereof strikes a chord in Haruhi's soul. She feels the need to emphasize a familiar point of hers to each listener just as much as the other two. First, her gaze is aimed at Amyas himself.

"I think that what a person will do is infinitely more important than what a person has done. That's not to say that someone who has killed a thousand people should be absolved of his crimes - but most people are nowhere near that far gone, and most people would just keep killing if they were."

After which, she slides her gaze over to Elizabeth.

"I think it's clear Amyas isn't going to continue harming people the way he has in the past. I think it's clear Kayn is going to continue, and that he's never going to stop.

That's the difference between the two of them, save for the allegiance to one border or the other, and it's the difference that saves one and condemns the other in my eyes."

Finally, she settles those crimson eyes upon dear Lotlhuitl. Her expression and tone softens as her eyes fall upon the woman, of course.

"Whatever ends up being decided about him doesn't mean anything if whoever makes the decision doesn't keep that in mind."

[10:15] An unarmed, tanned fox-woman slips through Iustus's door. Her tail swishes behind her, and she has a wistful expression upon her face.

The fox-woman glows, visibly, the mark of a Priestess of Jiuweihu, and her jade eyes roam the room, while big, vulpine ears eavesdrop on their conversation.

In one of her hands is a pale, blue flower, a bluebell, and it's placed nonchalantly on the altar as she walks by.

[10:19] Amyas took a cigarette from his pouch, offering it to Lotlhuitl, smiling slightly, as if he thanked her. There was nothing to say for the time being, all of them had good points, logical to say the least.

The Valmasian child sat there, hearing them out, scratching the collar slightly, it itched him a little, noticing the priestess of Jiuweihu entering the premises of the church, arching an eyebrow, her glow irritated him, part of the reason was his occultism and the other was that she shone too bright, like a diamond.

Letting out a sigh, Amyas returned to gaze over at the group, still hearing out their debate.

[10:24] Lotlhuitl accepted the cigarette, for a second perching it between her lips before sighing, and instead tucking it within a pouch. For later.

"There's no debate. I want him. I'd play along, be a good girl and wait for nice-guy-Geese's verdict. But lives are at stake. I need my children. My husband is going to murder them. Xitlalli owes me. She can help."

She reached out, offering her hand to Amyas. "You wanna wipe your slate clean? You want your ledger to be a little less red? You're going to help me, kid."

A glance was given to Suha. Hand still extended to Amyas.

"Did you cure the girl of the rune, yet?"

[10:30] The tanned fox-lady subtly shows her empty palms, before they're tucked back into her sleeves, before slowly approaching the Nagual.

Her wistful disappears once those have noticed her presence, and instead, a sense of calm ebbs from her, along with a gentle, soothing warmth. Fire magic tainted with... Something else? Doesn't feel Holy...

It's faint, though, and she walks closer to Lotl, nodding gently at the woman.

"Yes, miss Lotl, I have. She also had a broken ankle, so I mended that too. If you see her, please scold her if she's walking on the cast."

The warmth and soothing, serene calm only grows stronger as she approaches, adding a quiet detail via a soft whisper to Lotl and Haruhi.

However, he then remembered the collar around his neck, he needed that gone if he was going to be effective in any shape or form, it supressed his magic to the point of faintness.

His gaze turns over to Elizabeth. "If this means I'll walk around ardent freely in Lothuitl's company, I think it also means I have to lose the collar, yes? What if I get jumped again? I'll not be lucky enough to have any of you around to help then." The Valmasian kid had a point, even if he couldn't over-power Kayn now, there were other threats he's going to face, especially people he hurt back in Aetherius.

A gentle, warm smile is offered the way of Elizabeth, shaking her head. Her soft voice responds calmly to the knightly woman.

Her tail swishes behind her as she wheels about, wandering towards the door, before launching a little bit o words at Haruhi and Lotl.

A demon which was killed by the very founder of this church, apparently, forcing the writer to do some degree of alt interaction.

He looked towards the kitsune that walked in his direction towards the door, yellow irises quickly examining her in full, almost devoid of any emotion. Katzan was here to learn, and this woman -- Her very presence irritated him to a degree unimaginable.

Katzan was easily distinguishable among everything else in this church. Whereas everything in here was notably holy in nature, Katzan had an odd feeling of neutrality -- But not the good kind. Not of an elementalist mage, or anything like that. It was an odd feeling that he just had nothing inside.

And this could probably be felt by Suha? I'm not sure.
