  17. <p>The SERVICE Directive IT Impact Forum aims at helping ALL the practitioners IN public sector working on the
  18. implementation of the &quot;Point of Single Contact&quot; (i.e. Art 8 of the SERVICE Directive and beyond) IN
  19. Europe TO meet and share their experiences, approach and knowledge, TO ASK and provide support. The community is
  20. open TO ALL interested stakeholders whether FROM European administrations, FROM public and private organisations,
  21. FROM SERVICE providers such AS SME. BY aiming at joining at this early phase of implementation, the needs of the
  22. public authorities and the desires of the SERVICE providers can meet.</p>

  25. <p><span style="line-height: 1.5;">The SERVICE Directive IT Impact Forum aims at helping ALL the practitioners IN
  26. public sector working on the&nbsp;</span><strong style="line-height: 1.5;">IT implementation of the &quot;Point of
  27. Single Contact&quot;&nbsp; PoSC&nbsp;IN Europe</strong><span style="line-height: 1.5;">&nbsp;TO :</span></p>
  28. <p style="margin-left:24pt;">&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; meet and share their
  29. experiences, approach and knowledge,</p>
  30. <p style="margin-left:24pt;">&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ASK and provide support,</p>
  31. <p style="margin-left:24pt;">&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; focus on identifying the
  32. tasks needed beyond the &quot;2009&quot; deadline.</p>
  33. <p>The community is open TO ALL those who are interested IN public SERVICE provision IN relation TO the Services
  34. Directive and who work WITH national and regional public authorities, industry, and a wide diversity of&nbsp;
  35. sectors /professions&nbsp;(stakeholders FROM European administrations, FROM public and private organisations, FROM
  36. SERVICE providers such AS SMEs). Joining the community at this phase of the implementation will help&nbsp;meet the
  37. needs of the public authorities AS well as&nbsp;the desires of the SERVICE providers.</p>
  38. <p>Various technical &lsquo;<strong>building blocks&rsquo;&nbsp;</strong>will help European UNION Member States,
  39. their agencies, and technical contractors TO CREATE the IT support necessary TO establish&nbsp;<strong>Points of
  40. Single Contact&nbsp;</strong>IN each country, and TO undertake the&nbsp;necessary administration and support TO
  41. ensure exchange of services throughout Europe.</p>
  42. <p>Taking for granted that the necessary is done BY / IN Member States BY the 2009&nbsp;deadline,&nbsp;topics IN
  43. this forum aim at reaching&nbsp;beyond.</p>
  44. <p>This forum aims at identifying these various building blocks - but for this, we must get a CLEAR picture
  45. how&nbsp;a Point of Single Contact&nbsp;could look like&nbsp;IN 2020 - the ultimate implementation of the Point of
  46. Single Contact. Yes, I mean, what would be a \&quot;science fiction\&quot; scenario&nbsp;for an ideal PoSC?</p>
