  1. [20:28] Sarasha Fenrir says, "Teodor."
  2. [20:28] Sarasha Fenrir says, "One more."
  3. [20:28] Teodor Hargrave asks, "Who?"
  4. [20:28] Sarasha thumbs to Holly.
  5. (Sarasha Fenrir)
  6. [20:28] Teodor Hargrave says, "Oh, that's Holly. My sister."
  7. [20:29] Teodor Hargrave exclaims, "She's good!"
  8. [20:29] Sarasha Fenrir says, "She bares the sigil."
  9. [20:29] Teodor Hargrave asks, "Just tell her to take it off. We ruled about Knights, right?"
  10. [20:29] Sarasha Fenrir says, "Handle your own damned sister."
  11. [20:29] Teodor Hargrave says, "She's not a ranking knight."
  12. [20:29] Tanya Weiss says, "A knight is a knight."
  13. [20:29] Teodor Hargrave says, "She is fine, according to the decision made by the council."
  14. [20:29] Teodor Hargrave asks, "Right?"
  15. [20:29] Teodor Hargrave says, "She's also a guild member."
  16. [20:30] Sarasha Fenrir says, "We discussed this~"
  17. [20:30] Teodor Hargrave says, "I'll let her speak for herself. When she is free."
  18. [20:35] Holly watched as Nikolaos reached out with his vines - most of which were simply cut down or bound within her own as that veil of blackness he cried out about took hold. A strange force he couldn't quite fathom shook his body to the core - as though he'd been picked up and rattled around violently and dropped.
  19.
  20. Though, she did enjoy fighting actually rock magi every once in a while.
  21.
  22. The art was fast and packed a hit, but Nikolaos wasn't quite there yet.
  23.
  24. The closest he'd gotten was that chunk he shoot from the start which nearly caught her by surprise, standing her ground despite the force.
  25.
  26. "Ah... You fight exactly like one nature magi I know." She doesn't say who.
  27.
  28. He doesn't want to know who.
  29.
  30. "It's a good direction to go, but, like I said, mind your path. I'd be upset to see you've deviated from your goals." She admits, though he wasn't down yet.
  31.
  32. Determination is good, but she can hear a whole lot of side conversation about her.
  33.
  34. "Is there an issue?" She questions, her gaze piercing straight towards Sarasha.
  35. (Holly Hargrave)
  36. [20:36] The peircing gaze was halted by the Matriarch's icy heart and stature. She was met with a scowl for that look. One clearly discontent with their mere presence.
  37.
  38. "You're either a knight or a mercenary. Make it clear in front of your brother now." Her tone held weight and was stern.
  39. (Sarasha Fenrir)
  40. [20:39] Teodor steps forward, shooting a serious glance at Sarasha, Tanya. Every day, and it seems like the lines are clearer drawn.
  41.
  42. "I'm just letting you know right now," he says, coldly.
  43.
  44. "Holly is with me. I will not let you intimidate her. Any attempts at intimidating her..."
  45.
  46. Who is Holly...?
  47.
  48. He blinks.
  49.
  50. I'm Holly.
  51.
  52. "Are threats to ME. Choose your words carefully. I'll not bend over and let people destroy more of my guild."
  53. (Teodor Hargrave)
  54. [20:52] "Hmn." She was hesitant to divulge that information to Nikolaos before her attention departs elsewhere.
  55.
  56. "Well." She spoke, starting with a light smile. She's clearly unfazed.
  57.
  58. "You certainly won't be ordering be to declare anything. So, I may be a Knight and Thunderbird. And?" She questions.
  59.
  60. "Have I been causing a scene, or stirring trouble in Theria? No? I know not. If any are causing the scene, it would be yourself. I'm simply minding my own business and helping these squires of your 'Black Order' train themselves because I enjoy seeing progress. I'm pretty sure I do not carry the Sigil into Theria for this same reason, I'm simply visiting as the Thunderbird I am. This is where my guild is based, so I have every right."
  61.
  62. She'd nod to Teodor. She agreed with his words.
  63.
  64. "Though..."
  65.
  66. She paused, as though trying to remember something.
  67.
  68. "If my presence irks you that viscerally, then you're free to attempt to remove me by your own hand. I believe I heard the natives here say 'might makes right', or something like that? Otherwise, I'll return to a generally peaceful day." She awaits Sarasha's next course of action to this.
  69. (Holly Hargrave)
  70. [20:55] "Your words will only encompass the issue. I seek to route it. You are either -a knight- or you are -a guild member-. You will not be both while you are here. State which you are."
  71.
  72. It was silly hearing herself repeat it. The point needed to be made for everyone present. It would determine many things for her regardless of affiliation to Teodor himself. It the leader of the thunderbirds acted solely on their private lives or for their guild? That would be shown next. All a ploy by one cunning Matriarch.
  73. (Sarasha Fenrir)
  74. [20:57] "Right now, by the order of the Council, Knights are no longer allowed in the city. There has been too many issues with the Order and with Theria, and for the sake of both parties we are barring them. But the amount of disrespect is absolutely unacceptable."
  75.
  76. Her arms are crossed, and a look to Sarasha is given.
  77.
  78. "You cannot be a member of two guilds in this City; not when Guild Membership has a direct tie to our government. By being a part of the Order and the Thunderbirds, you represent what is a potential foreign influence on our sovereignty. This would not be a problem if the other knights have not attempted to bully and undermine our prosperity and freedom."
  79.
  80. "So answer. Are you a Knight, or are you a Thunderbird?"
  81. (Tanya Weiss)
  82. [20:59] Teodor angrily points a finger at Tanya. "No, you misunderstood. What I agreed to, was barring high ranking members of both Moonfall and Osrona. Holly is here as a Thunderbird. Not a Knight. She's not even wearing the badge-"
  83.
  84. He begins to crack. His face contorts with rage, and pain.
  85.
  86. "You will stand down. She is not a Knight, here in Theria. She is one of my Thunderbirds. She is my sister. She is trustworthy." He tries to ignore the threats she just made, but it seems pointless.
  87.
  88. He looks down at the stony, cool ground. The sun was shining brightly. It was a beautiful day. Teodor would have loved this weather...
  89.
  90. "I won't be leaving. Nor will Teodor."
  91.
  92. There it is. The crack.
  93. (Teodor Hargrave)
  94. [21:10] Holly decided to take Sarasha's words literally.
  95.
  96. "So, you say; I 'will not be both while' I'm here?"
  97.
  98. She cants her head to the other side ever so gently.
  99.
  100. "Well, I'm here, currently, in Theria, as a Thunderbird. That does not mean I'm no longer a Knight. Though, I certainly have no intentions to enforce laws here." Her arms cross atop the other.
  101.
  102. Anathe's words weren't noticed for one reason or another. Or, perhaps he was ignored.
  103.
  104. "However." She spoke, looking between Sarasha and Tanya at this point.
  105.
  106. "To answer your questions, I simply won't be handing in my symbols of the Order, or the Thunderbirds."
  107.
  108. There's a light shrug.
  109.
  110. Though, "Teo' focus." She could hear the incoming episode.
  111. (Holly Hargrave)
  112. [21:14] There is an inhalation, and Tanya looks at Holly directly.
  113.
  114. "There is the very problem of allowing someone of the Order into our guilds, and by extension our Government. What's to say Osrona comes to our border, demanding to extradite someone?"
  115.
  116. "Would you be a Thunderbird, or would you be a Knight? In that situation, your loyalty to Theria would be put into question. That is our concern. That was a concern we had with the Thunderbirds in the beginning, and after everything that's happened, it's been cropping up more and more. This would be the same if we had a guild with members of Moonfall, and they attempted to take our sovereignty in any way."
  117.
  118. A hand moves to try and stay Sarasha's next move. There would be more discussion, not an immediate rush to violence.
  119.
  120. "Can you understand this concern we have?"
  121. (Tanya Weiss)
  122. [21:21] Sarasha placed a hand on her waist and held her gaze on holly. A small nod was given. Perhaps a slight understanding was made.
  123.
  124. "A Thunderbird. Not a knight. I hope everyone hears that. Wonder what would happen if that news got back to Osrona as quick as that snitch did it." She spoke sarcastically with a squint.
  125.
  126. A hand held her should. Vulnerable to be pacified by her own friends. It was her weakness one would say.
  127.
  128. "Alright Teodor. We have our answer. I hope you understand our stance on why we are committed to a black or white mindset. We have no room for the concerning gray areas."
  129.
  130. Her eyes then went to Teodor. He was quick to jump to violence. She smiled. A prudent future ahead herself. She caught his apparent slip of mind to mention himself then again in third person. Once more she addressed holly.
  131.
  132. "Though be sure to not use your authority while here. We've decided to address this new notion with consenquence on parto that of a major crime."
  133. (Sarasha Fenrir)
  134. [21:23] Lukas blinked, the scene before them rather tough to discern. They looked at Tanya then to Holly and sighed heavily. This drew a rather unnecessary crowd for matters like this. It'd be on display for the entire damn mountain.
  135.
  136. As a Thunderbird, and such words directed at those of their guild, they left Elias' side and stepped further, past Sajid and lingering near Tanya.
  137.
  138. "What is this?" They ask, eyes falling to Holly. "I said to not do anything stupid and here you are, within Theria, a place wary of Osrona, boosting your position? Mentioning it at all? It's come to my attention that things exactly like that is an issue."
  139.
  140. Lukas sighs heavily.
  141.
  142. "Pick. Right now, Holly. Are you a Thunderbird or Knight? That's a huge issue and it's not about to cause any petty conflict. This isn't Osrona."- Then Sarasha seemed to answer that. Or was it already addressed? They did just arrive.
  143.
  144. They wasted enough time here. To have all of that thrown away means months gone down the drain and better spent elsewhere. There was potential with remaining friendly with Theria, they thought.
  145.
  146. Lukas glanced at Teodor...
  147.
  148. "Fighting right now is stupid. So don't be stupid. Even though I'd love to pointlessly fight, let's not. We came to them, remember?" Their words not entirely directed at him.
  149. (Lukas)
  150. [21:28] Teodor's teeth grit to an intense, rabid expression. He doesn't even notice Lukas enter the crowd. He hardly hears Molly's words.
  151.
  152. Focus.
  153.
  154. I'm already focused. I'm not Teodor.
  155.
  156. "I will not stand for this..."
  157.
  158. He clenches his fists into balls.
  159.
  160. "I-... Holly. Lukas. The Thunderbirds; I will NOT stand for you harassing my people when-" He thrusts his finger over to Sajid. "My people have been killed HERE, in Theria, and you just... let it happen! I understand you do not trust me. Do not like me. But my people are my own problem. Who gives a good FUCK-"
  161.
  162. He looks at Lukas as they approach. His expression eases up, somewhat.
  163.
  164. He pauses, to collect his breath. Some strange energy had begun to build up around his body. Rocks nearby were floating up in response to the extreme amounts of mana he'd been funneling out.
  165.
  166. "... Whogives a fuck if Holly's a Knight. If she betrays us--" he shakes his head quickly. "-- if she betrays ME... Then I'll submit myself to you, and you may have my head. I will not resist. Knight? Thunderbird? Doesn't matter who she belongs to."
  167.
  168. He looks up at Sarasha, then Tanya. There's a wild, crazed look in his eyes. He doesn't look like he's focusing on any one of them in particular. Maybe looking beyond them. Or something only he could see.
  169.
  170. Yeah...
  171.
  172. "I'm Holly. If I fuck up, you can have my head." He looks shocked after he says it. He seems to briefly lose his balance. He staggers back, catches himself before he falls. Steels his stance. His breath was ragged.
  173.
  174. "... Got nothing else to say."
  175. (Teodor Hargrave)
  176. [21:34] Holly corrects Lukas the moment they arrived, "I did not tell them. They came to me with that knowledge already. I'm not even with the symbol of the Order at this moment. Much less hassle to go about my day peacefully here without it, until these few came to me to disagree with such." She responds in reference to Sarasha, Tanya and Anathe.
  177.
  178. Nevertheless, apparently Sarasha accepted Holly's literal take of her words.
  179.
  180. She'd have to discuss a LOT of things later.
  181.
  182. "Nevertheless, since it now seems you all aren't escalating my presence... Teodor. Let's go have that conversation now."
  183.
  184. She'd look to Nikolaos.
  185.
  186. "We'll have to resume later."
  187. (Holly Hargrave)
  188. [21:46] Sarasha stepped up to Teodor. A hand patting on his shoulder. Once more, she thought of her ploy. He was making for a fine Leader, now it was time to assess his intentions. Though it looked like she'd simply smile and pass him by. It seemed she had the ability to switch up their mood on a dime, or was it just a front from the beginning?
  189.
  190. The interesting quality the vines held caught her eyes. It was like-and-unlike that of the blue ones she encountered. Those were eradicated time and again as well.
  191.
  192. Stepping up to Holly, the Matriarch of the Fenrir place her hands at her waist. She had to close everyone out now and speak to them herself.
  193.
  194. "You understand that Osrona may use you to get to us, right? The connections you and your brother seem to keep with Osrona will remain a danger, right?" It was an attempt to level with Holly. Her voice remained calmed and softened with good reason.
  195.
  196. "Everyone knows your place in Osrona, but I'll have my hand in keeping the pressure off you while you're here. The last night met with a bounty and it was quickly fetched. Teodor was certainly upset and I'm sure if there is a next time he will snap. We don't need that right now."
  197.
  198. For once, Sarasha had a lot to say. An amount of personal interest coming into the matter.
  199.
  200. "Your brother is willing to stick his neck out, literally. I'll take him up on that offer, but only because we want him to fill that seat now. We don't hate him. He has been working with us and coordinated his company to distribute the labor. The actions speak more, Yes?"
  201. (Sarasha Fenrir)
  202. [21:49] Things seemed to only get worse. Lukas witnessed one of many Teodor's breakdowns again. This one not as bad but one nonetheless. For now, they stood still, eyes locked on the man for a long time before drifting to Holly. They wanted more than ever to comfort him but not yet. The situation still very heated. Lukas stood, arms folded as they spoke.
  203.
  204. "Holly, are you dense?" They ask, a brow cocking, legitimately curious at this point. "Don't sit on a high horse. We're not at 'home'. We're at the mercy of a place foreign to us. If you wish to be here and then you play by their rules. Simple as that. They don't trust you, understandably. I'm just saying if you want to be here without them getting angry and throwing hands at you then you'll comply."
  205.
  206. Simple as that. Lukas shrugs. They couldn't relate to the sentiment. Their loyalty lied with their own personal interest. Judgement leaves their gaze as it falls to Teodor.
  207.
  208. "You put your life on her loyalty to the guild? Do you trust her, truly? She doesn't seem willing to even say 'I'm a Thunderbird, yes. No longer a Knight'. You bet your life on that?" Lukas questioned, eyes lidding slightly. They barely liked Theria. Opinions neutral, slightly positive. But it was Teodor's want to come here so they'd see it be done smoothly.
  209.
  210. They looked at Holly, a bit irritated.
  211.
  212. "Will you do anything stupid to get Teodor killed? Your guild leader and brother?"
  213. (Lukas)
  214. [21:55] At least the pressure was now lessoned. They would not bow down to Osrona; this city was built on the premises of freedom for it's people. There was a look to the crowd, and then to Holly.
  215.
  216. "I want to speak to you privately after this, but I'll say this for the record. We are wary of the knighthood because of the threat is poses to our way of life. So far, who've they've sent and who've visited us has only confirmed this by avoiding tolls and bringing an unwelcome pompous attitude."
  217.
  218. A sigh, before continuing.
  219.
  220. "Allowing twin-participation shows them that they're allowed to interfere with out politics. I do not ever want the people of Theria to be represented by a Knight or Noble who has never braved the cold here, or survived a winter. Maybe in the future, when Osrona can prove that our Sovereignty will be secured through parlay and cooperation, this may change. But for now, we will take the path of isolationism."
  221.
  222. "Now, lets stop this scene-in-the-making and go on with our lives, yes?"
  223. (Tanya Weiss)
  224. [21:34] Their eyes seemed moreso focused on Teodor's absolute breakdown. A slow breath of air drawn in as they'd lean back and fourth upon their heels. Glancing towards the Warlords with a raise of their shoulders. Nonchalant and relaxed...
  225.
  226. One would think an ex-moonfallen would advocate the death of the Knights anyway. Instead, Anathe would click their teeth together.
  227.
  228. "I think that's a fair deal. Honestly. Teodor." Anathe wasn't a warlord, yet they'd step closer towards this...
  229.
  230. Fractured man. Eyes showing a subtle sheen of curiosity.
  231.
  232. Yet the hand raises and they make a patting motion in the air. A hint of wind magic opting to try and give the over-stressed leader of the Thunderbirds a little shoulder pat in a vain attempt to placate him.
  233.
  234. "Yes, your people died here. The ice is cold. Not everyone can withstand a blizzard~, and I know it hurts yes? To feel... Responsible." Their head slowly cants to the side.
  235.
  236. "So! I find that rather respectable. Putting your own neck on the line. If she betrays Theria for Osrona, well... I have faith in your word. Teodor."
  237.
  238. Anathe had no idea who Teodor was. Though they'd flash him a small smile. Even if their words likely meant little, to nothing, from a stranger.
  239. (Anathe)
  240. [21:56] Teodor seems to pant, like he's undergone some kind of aerobic exertion. The mana building up, leaking out of his body stops completely. A few rocks that'd floated up just suddenly went crashing back down to the ground quietly.
  241.
  242. He eyes Anathe uneasily. The first time he's seriously acknowledged their presence.
  243.
  244. He offers a light smile. It's unlike his usual, intense, overbearing smile. This one felt more genuine.
  245.
  246. "Thanks," he says quietly. "You can count on my word."
  247.
  248. He turns to Sarasha, correcting his posture. His weird episode seemed mostly done with. He nods at her once, not wasting any time or breath saying anything that would ultimately just be redundant.
  249.
  250. He rolls his neck. His gaze falls to Lukas. "I'm not putting my life on the line for her, Lukas. You don't understand. It's not about... trust." He extends a hand out to Lukas, gesturing as he explains. "It's morecomplicated than that. It's... reality. It's being."
  251.
  252. He sighs. He realizes he's not making any sense. He looks to Tanya, now, finally. Gives her one final nod. Looks at Holly, wondering what her next move was.
  253.
  254. He'd follow if she left.
  255. (Teodor Hargrave)
  256. [22:05] Those vines would have similarly disappeared in sync with Nikolaos's.
  257.
  258. As for Sarasha, "By no means do I ever plan to allow anyone, or Teodor himself, to kill him." She states first and foremost.
  259.
  260. "I understand what you're saying, Teodor. But, if circumstances unfortunate enough come to pass in which you try to stick your neck out - or one of them comes for your neck, that won't be happening. I won't let that happen - not as a Knight or Thunderbird. As myself, I will not let that happen."
  261.
  262. She'd glance towards Lukas. No words, for now.
  263.
  264. A private conversation? Hm.
  265.
  266. "But, yes." Like Tanya said. "Let's carry on about our days, everyone."
  267.
  268. She states towards the spectators, most of which were staring listlessly.
  269.
  270. "Come, Teodor."
  271. (Holly Hargrave)
