"Frings!" said Jessica cheerily to her girlfriend over the phone.

"Shika-yah." said Frings. "Let's meet right now. I'm at the SM cafe. Be here in 10 minutes."

"Wae? Did something happen?" asked Jessica. Something about the tone of Frings's voice made Jessica suspect that something had happened.

"Just come. I have something important to tell you in person." said Frings.

"Ne. I'll be there soon." said Jessica.




Jessica and Frings were a couple for many years and had no problems with each other at all.
Jessica loves Frings with all her heart and Frings would always show her affection for Jessica. But recently, Frings had been acting cold and distant to Jessica that made her feel sad. It had been a while since Frings had call Jessica to meet her at SM cafe.

5 years ago, the two had met in SM cafe when Jessica was in the bathroom and Frings was checking her out. Since then, they began seeing each other and always had dates in that cafe.




After Jessica received the call from Frings, she immediately got ready and left her apartment to meet her girlfriend.

Jessica entered her car and started for SM Cafe.

She smiled since she's meeting her girlfriend again after a while. During the drive to the cafe, she began thinking about the days they first met.




*5 years ago*


Jessica was at the sink to wash her hands. She looked into the mirror and noticed a short chick staring at her butt.

Jessica smirked and said "Do you like what you're seeing?"

Through the mirror, Jessica saw the girl in shock that she got caught checking her out and blushed.

Jessica turned around stuck her hand out to shake hands.

"I'm Jessica Jung." smiled Jessica.

The girl hesitated, but shook Jessica's hand.

"I'm Frings." said the girl, still blushing.

"Hey, I just met you. But this is crazy. But here's my number. And call me maybe." winked Jessica and gave Frings her number.

Frings stood there looking at the piece of paper that had Jessica's number on it and grinned widely while Jessica walked out of the bathroom.

Later that night, Jessica received a call from an unknown number. Since Jessica didn't know who it was, she ignored the call but her phone kept on ringing that she got irritated and answered it angrily.

"OMG. STOP CALLING ME. I DON'T KNOW YOU SO STOP CALLING." said Jessica.

"Oh... I'm sorry... I just wanted to talk to you..." said the small voice on the other line.

Jessica recognized the voice and apologized.

"Oh sorry Frings. I thought you were someone else since your number was unknown. I'll add you into my contacts." said Jessica.

Jessica and Frings talked on the phone for a long time, asking questions about each other, until it was 3 in the morning.

"Hehe. It's late now. You should go to sleep, now that I know about your sleepy personality. Sorry for making stay up all night." said Frings.

"That's okay. It was fun talking to you." said Jessica and smiled, even though the person on the other line can't see. "Good Night."

"Good night, Princess." said Frings and hung up.

"Did she just call me Princess?" said Jessica. "Of course she did, because I am one." smiled Jessica and flipped her hair.

*But why do I feel butterflies in my stomach...* thought Jessica.

Jessica fell on top of her bed and hugged her pillow.

"I can't possibly like her already. We just met." said Jessica.

Slowly, Jessica closed her eyes and drifted to sleep.

The next day, Jessica woke up at 11:00 and found that her phone had one missed call and ten new messages from Frings.

"Aishh this shorty. So many messages..." said Jessica.

Jessica got ready to meet Frings.  She took a bubble bath and wore cute clothes. It was 11:30 by the time she left her house.

Jessica got to SM cafe a bit early than the scheduled time, so she thought Frings wasn't there yet.

When Jessica walked in the cafe, she heard a voice call her name.

"JESHIKA!" said Frings, waving her hands in the air.

"You're early." said Jessica.

"You too. I thought you were gonna be late." smiled Frings.

Suddenly, Jessica felt butterflies in her tummy.

*Why am I feeling like this...* thought Jessica.

"Sit down Princess." said Frings.

"N-Ne." said Jessica. Hearing Frings call her a princess made Jessica even more nervous.

The two talked for a very long time until the cafe had to close for the night. They continued to meet each other like that for the next few months and eventually became best friends.

One day, Frings called Jessica and asked to meet at SM Cafe like usual. But this time, Jessica didn't know that Frings had prepared something special for her.

Jessica walked into the cafe, but all the lights were off, except one light shining on Frings at the front counter, holding flowers in her hand.

"Fringles?" said Jessica. She suddenly felt her heart beat faster.

"Jeshika Jung. Will you be mine?" asked Frings, holding out the flowers.

Jessica was speechless and could not move. She stood there staring at Frings, trying to get her brain to function.

"I know this is so sudden. We only met a few months ago but I've grown so attached to you. I fell in love with you at first sight. Will you please accept my heart?" said Frings. She moved closer to Jessica and held out the flowers for Jessica to accept it.

Jessica slowly grabbed the flowers and smiled, signifying that Jessica had accepted her heart. Frings then pulled Jessica in for a hug.

"Thank you." whispered Frings.

*End of flashback*




Jessica arrived at SM Cafe and saw Frings sitting at their usual table.

"Fringles!" waved Jessica.

Frings showed a small smile and motioned Jessica to come over.

Jessica took a seat across from Frings.

"What's the matter? What did you want to tell me?" asked Jessica.

"Let's eat first, and then I'll tell you." said Frings. She ordered the usual food they ate.

"So how are you?" asked Jessica, as soon as the waiter finished ordering their food.

"I've been fine." said Frings, showing a faint smile.

*That's all? Fine? Nothing more?* thought Jessica. She sighed and fidgeted with her fingers underneath the table.

Jessica tried to start a conversation again but she was interrupted by the waiter.

"Here are your orders, Miss." said the waiter, and placed the food on their table.

"Enjoy your food." smiled Frings.

Jessica smiled. It's been a while since she saw a real smile from Frings since she recently usually got faint or small smiles.

"I’ll enjoy it." said Jessica and started digging in.

The two ate silently, although Jessica really badly wanted to talk to Frings, but she was afraid of receiving a cold response.

"How have you been Jessica?" asked Frings, after finishing her meal first.

Jessica was surprised by the sudden question. Her facial expressions became brighter since Frings has spoken to her.

"I'm doing great. But I feel lonely without you..." said Jessica.

"I'm sorry... That I haven't spent much time with you anymore. And that's the reason I came to see you today." said Frings.

Jessica smiled. She thought Frings had come to see her today since they haven't seen each other for a while. But the next words that came out of Frings's mouth felt like someone had stabbed her heart.

"Let's not see each other anymore." said Frings, looking Jessica straight in the eye.

Jessica blinked. Twice. Three times. She can't believe what she is hearing right now. It feels as if her heart is crumbling into pieces.

"W-wae? Did I do something wrong. I'm sorry Fringles, if I ever did anything to make you mad. Just don't say you'll leave me..." said Jessica, trying to hold in the tears that are threatening to fall out of her eyes.

"No... You didn't do anything wrong... It's just---" Frings hung her head.

"Then why don't you want to see me anymore?" asked Jessica. She reached over the table to grab Frings's hand, but Frings jerked her hand away. Jessica felt the pain in her heart increasing.

"I... met someone new..." said Frings quietly.

Everything around Jessica started to spin. Her tears begun to fall. She looked at Frings, full of despise and hatred. But she still loved Frings. She thought Frings would be the one for her once she met her.

"Is she better than me? Is that why you stopped meeting me? What does she have that I don't? Did she love you more than I do?!?" said Jessica, whose voice is slightly rising.

"I'm sorry... She just makes me happy when I'm around her." said Frings.

"And I didn't make you happy?" asked Jessica, more tears falling out of her eyes.

"You did. But until Tiffany came into my life, she made me feel like I was in heaven." said Frings.

Jessica was taken aback when she heard that Frings had met Tiffany.

"Tiffany? Tiffany Hwang?" said Jessica. She felt her blood boiling up to her head.

Tiffany was Jessica's ex-girlfriend before she met Frings. It is true that Tiffany can make anyone happy with just a flash of her smile. But their relationship didn't work out since Tiffany began seeing other people behind her back.

"You know her?" asked Frings.

"Yes. She was my ex-girlfriend..." said Jessica.

"So I guess you understand why she makes me happy." said Frings.

"But why her? Why can't I be the one who make you happy? Was all the time we were together nothing to you now?" asked Jessica.

Frings didn't respond.

At that moment, the two saw a very familiar figure walk in the cafe.

"Fringles!" the figured called out.

Jessica immediately recognized her voice and her face became stone cold.

"Annyoung Tippani..." said Frings.

"Jessica? Long time no see." smiled Tiffany.

"Yeah..." said Jessica, showing no expressions on her face.

"What are you guys doing here? You guys know each other?" asked Tiffany, looking at Frings.

"Yeah... Jessica was an old friend from High School and I called her since we haven't met for a long time." said Frings, which made Jessica's face even more expressionless.

*I can't believe she lied about our relationship. I guess she doesn't love me anymore.* thought Jessica.

Jessica forced a smile and held in her tears. "Yeah, we were high school buddies."

Jessica grabbed her purse and stood up.

"I'm sorry Frings, but, uhmm, I have to leave early..." said Jessica, giving Frings and faint smile.

"Nice seeing you again..." said Jessica when she turned to Tiffany.

"You too." said Tiffany, flashing her famous eye-smile that would always melt her heart.

Jessica exited the cafe while her tears were pouring out of her eyes.

She went to her car and sat in there for a while, crying her eyes out, hating Frings and Tiffany, hating the world for making her feel like this.

"I HATE YOU!" screamed Jessica, punching the steering wheel causing it to honk.

She started the car and drove onto the empty freeway.

To keep her mind off the current situation, Jessica turned on the radio, but the song that was playing seems to have made her mood worse.

"Frings... Now you're just someone I used to know..." said Jessica, squeezing out the last few tears wasted on Frings.
