LC: The insult "shorthorn" refers a troll with a genetic defect making their horns incredibly tiny.

LC: Trolls are the dominant race of Alternia, along with our Lusus.

LC: We had formed a mutualistic bond with them. And technically yes, I am an alien.

LC: Due to my precautions however, the human I adopted does not know this.

LC: I impaired his vision partially, and we are more human-like than you would imagine. At first sight, our only differences are skin color and the growth of horns and claws.
ES: so

ES: skin color doesn't bother me at all, there's plenty of humans with different skin colors already

LC: Yes and no. Besides looks we had a different culture and we are anatomically different as well.
LC: I had to de-claw myself and file down my horns into the base of my scalp

LC: They need to be constantly filed down. Horns do not stop growing. According to my lusus, they were a sign of rank.

LC: I have not heard of that website, but it sounds right.

LC: It ranged from Rust to Fuchsia, and as for me it is rather personal.
LC: Each caste had a different lifespan, and sometimes an ability of some sort.

LC: I have no powers. They are rare for my caste.

LS: I was never told exactly how many there were, but the most common ones were Lusi Communion and Psychic Resistance.
ES: ok, and lusi are the other dominant race on your planet
ES: you can't speak to them normally?

LC: I believe Cobalts, Burgundies, and Purples are in possession of such abilities.
ES: how many castes are there?
LC: I was never told exactly how many, as I am not a native Alternian, but I assume there were eleven.

ES: idk that didn't make a lot of sense
ES: I guess I'm just excited at the prospect of aliens

LC: I did not grow up there.
