—personality description:
	montaro is the very definition of energy. he is constantly jumping and playing around, never stopping or taking a break at all. He is always smiling and laughing at everything and anything no matter what, believing that if he's visibly happy it'll make the world happy. he's actually a lot more mature than many people believe, often giving advice to others or even taking the time to speak his mind about something that his agency tells him not to. he is very knowledgeable and not at all naive like lots of people tend to think. he is very sympathetic and expressive with how he feels no matter who it is, even if it's someone who did him or someone else wrong. despite knowing how illogical and slightly dangerous it is, he goes out of his way to help fans and haters out the best he can. he likes asking them how they are and if they need anything, showing just how good of a person he is. he likes to become the 'light of the world' so that he can improve at least one person's life.

	despite this, he has his flaws as well. being that he's so open and puts everything out in the open, he is quite sensitive. he is normally able to control his emotions, hiding his feelings with a smile but when he's alone he lets loose anger, sadness, fear, and all his other emotions. even though he's so young, he feels a large sense of responsibility. he feels like what he does will make or break the group but he can't talk about it because he's supposed to be their ray of sunshine. he isn't very confident or reliable, given how open and energetic he is which causes him to feel like he failed everyone even it's just one small thing. a lot of the time, he's very anxious and afraid that something he does will determine everyone's future. he often excuses himself to calm down but always comes back with a smile so that no one worries for him.

	montaro was born into a very successful and wealthy family, his parents both being doctors the own their own clinic in japan. from the moment he was born, he was expected to follow in his parents' footsteps. he was placed into the best private school ( since money was not a problem ) and made sure he was always the top of his class. he was made to learn many foreign languages, at least 2 instruments and become an internationally known doctor or scientist of some sort. his whole life was planned for him before he was born and had no choice even as he got older. medicine or science never appealed to him the way his parents wanted it to, finding a much larger comfort in music. instead of doing extra-credit homework ( that he didn't need given how his good his grades were ), he would practice the piano and violin that he was told to master. he made up lyrics to the songs he played on the instruments and would sing them all the time. when his parents caught onto his interest in singing and making music professionally, they squashed it. music wasn't a good enough career for his parents so he was forced to drop the instruments and music in general.

	he was never truly happy, especially in school. he was always supposed to be the best and brightest in academics and social status. he felt an overwhelming stress, hating to force himself to be happy doing something he doesn't like. he eventually went to his parents and stated that he wanted to make music and not become a doctor. it set his parents off, making it very upset that the son they put so much time and money on, actually betrayed them in a way. the family was broke apart even more after that, his parents purposefully distancing themselves from their son. the next time he brought up his dreams, he was much stronger with his thoughts and opinions. he was able to convince his parents to come to a compromise, if his group was successful for at least 4 years, he'd be able to pursue whatever dream he wanted. however, if the group disbanded, he'd he forced to come home and continue to study medication no matter what. he chose LOEN ent. and rocked the audition when he was 14 even though his parents doubted him.

—why did you choose the company you're at?
he picked LOEN ent. because he didn't know much about him, only knowing that IU was under them. he didn't want to be a part of a large, well-know company so it wouldn't be easy for his family to find out about his group and stuff without him knowing. he also thought he could help bring the group up if he debuted under them, given just how confident and determined he was in his abilities.
