Zelda timeline kind of

The Legend of Hyrule is a tale as old as time..... Long ago The Three Goddesses descended upon this world, they brought, life, magic, and all that was into existence and as their final act they created the golden power we now know as the triforce, but as there is light, there will always be shadows and darkness cast by that light. A dark creature that had existed in this world long before the goddesses came to be saw this light and coveted it, it was a dark creature, born of darkness and hate and it soon began to war against the goddesses and their creations. The goddesses led their creations into battle but such was the creature's destructive might that it came to be known as Demise, bringer of death. It seemed all was lost until the goddesses pooled their power together and created the Goddess's Blade, granted to the first hero with which he laid Demise low, weakening him enough for the goddesses to seal him for what they hoped was eternity. The Land however, had been destroyed utterly by demise, so the goddesses created a land above the clouds and took what survivors they could find to live there, not knowing they had left some behind.

Hundreds of years later, such begins the tale of the hero of the skies, his adventures with his friends and allies against Demise's blade and the forging of the blade of evil's bane, the master sword. However, despite The Hero's success in defeating demise, in his death he bound his essence to the golden power the goddesses had blessed the hero with, a full third of the triforce becoming corrupt and bound to him. From then on the fate of the three triforce wielders would always be linked, the dreaded champion of Demise, The Wise Princess Zelda, and the Hero who's Courage never falters. Such begins the Legend of Zelda.

In time, the people of the sky moved back to the land to find that it was habitable once more and from there the kingdom of Hyrule was established and the wayward races were once more brought back in unity. From there well...time is a convoluted thing, many legends contradict or even directly oppose each other and yet through all of our legends the Tale of the Courageous Hero, The Dreaded Champion of Power, and The Wise Princess persists through them all. What we do know is thousands of years ago, the one fated to be Demise's champion was reborn underneath the gerudo once again. However...fate plays strangely sometimes. Rather than being corrupted by Demise's power, he learned to control it and came to truly love and care for the people of hyrule and the people to which he was born. Yet he knew that he was fated to become a pawn of the dark being's fate, so he made a sacrifice that has become forgotten by time. He walked before the Princess of Wisdom and the Hero of Courage and said "I am Ganondorf Dragmire, the one fated to wield the might of Power....please, seal me away so that Demise may not rise again." With ancient ritual and magic and the power of the goddesses themselves, ganondorf was sealed in an ancient tomb and with him Demise's last hope of ever being reborn again.

However, such was demise's hate and fury at being denied reincarnation, he simply refused to give up and ripped his way into the world again and as such was reborn into the dark entity we now know as calamity ganon. Yet the Hero and Princess of that time were ready. With Ancient magitech and the power of the Master Sword, they struck down Ganon and laid him low, sealing him with such ferocity that over a thousand years would pass before he returned again. Unfortunately, we all know what happened, Calamity Ganon, ever cunning and ferocious took over the armies once used against him and so fell Hyrule to ruin and calamity. The Hero of the Wilds slept for a hundred years to awaken in a world he did not recognize, Zelda having used every ounce of her power to hold Calamity Ganon back. Yet through blade, cunning, and courage The Hero of the Wilds regained his power and unsealed the Master Sword once more, freeing the souls of his companions and with their power Laid Calamity Ganon low once and for all and freed Princess Zelda from his grip and that's where we are now, Hyrule is recovering and we're slowly rebuilding after so many years under fear from Calamity Ganon.
