  1. [21:16] Tits: Well with Jieke's story it goes as follows. Jieke was born to the Youjia Ditu, Long Lazin, firstborn son of the Sojin/Shenjun Ditu Sunzhi, a man who was considered to be virtueous in character and unsuited to the role as monarch due to indecisivness being typical with him as well as being easily dominated personally but chosen in a replication of primogentiture by Sunzhi in order to secure stability. His mother was Dihei Youxian, a matriarchical character who was widely considered cool, cruel and controlling by those around her. A reactionary to her core, he valued the strengthening of the monarchy and was much more diplomatically capable than her husband who was much more interested with his palace and the wellbeing of his children.
  2. [21:22] Tits: Youxian and Long were half-siblings respectively, sharing their father Sunzhi but having different mothers. Youxian came from Sunzhi's half-sister Ping while Long came from Sunzhi's full sister Wu. Long also had a wife who was non Lazin, the Dibai Qixi Cangbai, of the Hegemons of Cangbai, who suited his character much better being a marriage of love and not arrangement. She was a gentler liberal minded character, much to the approval of Sunzhi who saw the parring with Youxian only an intermediate step to unify the three branches of Clan Lazin, the Black, the Red and the White.
  3. [21:32] Tits: Akai's political situation at the time of Jieke was very nebliously held together by Sunzhi, who through skillful diplmoacy lead Akai as more or less a confederation of subservient but still strong aristocratic states, and treated his own territories as very much seperate. He acted in Akai as the highest authority and used his religious influence to pressure where he could not reach normally. Long on the other hand acted like a traditional autocrat and offended powerful interests while Youxian strengthened the monarchy at the expense of the population, enablng the relatively unsuppressed and fairly recently defeated syndicalists to gain more willingness to mobilise.
  4. [21:39] Tits: This is when the Shattered Glass Period began, in the 1966 a period where two rebellions took root, the first Dungranmrang Revolt which were the Monarchist Syndicalists who were explictly anti-Lazin in character and the aristocratic kams revolt, both of which killed in total 27 million people
  5. [21:45] Tits: They were eventually violently put down after Youxian took predominant leadership of the wars, all the while she trained Jieke to be her protege, a role he took on particularly willingly. Jieke saw the incompetence of his father extremely poorly as be began to enter puberty, and came to love science fiction literaiture, political classics, and newer texts - watching and eventually commenting on internal debates. It was also around this time he was given tutorship by two supposed allies of Youxian who in turn was creating an aristocrat-military-bureaucrat government.
  6. [21:49] Tits: These were the then Director of Imperial Security, Heng Longba a Long Feng sort and the talented Generals and veterans of the Great Borean War, Marshal Tian Taijian and Colonel Long Zhanshi.(edited)
  7. [21:53] Tits: Both helped him acquire his skills in the military under Marshal Taijian, both helped introduce him to texts not usually accessible by princes and eventually they helped create his opinions. He was a progidy in many ways, exceelling academically and being exceptionally astute, however he was always extremely solitary when he could be and possessed a pessimistic and harsh character that worsened as he aged.
  8. [21:59] Tits: Jieke developed a vision of himself or rather a Ditu as a godlike autocrat of Akai, one which was entirely his control in every sense and one which would come to dominate space and technology as its main means of being competitive. He saw it as his purpose in life to achieve this goal at the expense of all else. He would have Akai obey is national interest in all areas and mankind would be united under it, with at first the domination of the Lahuboreo-Monic world first to secure Akai's geopolitical propserity through economic-diplomatic-military domination and the destruction of competitors. A monomanical obession was formed. It was his duty to create this vision of a society without the flaws of Akai as it was and one which was successful, meriticratic, etc in character and all else could be damned until it was achieved.(edited)
  9. [22:01] Tits: By the time he was 15, the triumvirate around him and himself came to the conclusion that they need to start securing his position as heir otherwise he'd be a weak monarch. He knew his father suffered from a hereditay frailty and sought to exploit it, by engineering the circumstances needed for a regency.
  10. [22:04] Tits: So in 1972 when he was 16, the clique eventually conspired to launch a coup in Xungong. Jieke went to the palace and using a contingent of Heiyanshi guards overthrew the old clique of Youxian, ousting them from their positions with evidence of "undermining the power of the Ditu, corruption, decadence and entertaining barbarian conceptions" being the general charges.
  11. [22:10] Tits: He had beforehand conspired with his mother to have Dihei Qixi poisoned, resulting in her swift death and the end of her liberal ideas and the preminence of Youxian's children. What was done with Long was a curious thing, Jieke essentially forced Long into a coma with the assistence of his medical aids. He beforehand explained to him why he saw Long as a terrible father and as a terrible monarch, and outlined in detail what he would do. Youxian was treated as an ally, while much of the military leadership who were seen as doctrinally outdated and were incompetence in their performance in the war, replacing them with men like Marshal Qiaozhi Woerjin and Colonel-Marshal Taijian as the main leaders of the army while the navy recieved considerable promotions also.
