  5. I’ll just get straight to the point; I feel that the Spiceworks Community may not be the community for you. I’m unsure if it was the changes in the Community over the years or not, but somewhere along the line, it looks like things progressed to a point where you feel like you can berate and insult other members. I’m going through your posting history and it seems like it started to become an issue somewhere in 2016 but escalated around the middle of 2017. In fact, I want to say it was around the time you started posting a conversation via private messages in the Water Cooler where you and another SpiceHead were not seeing eye to eye (to say the least).

Like I said in a previous email, I feel like you bring a lot of great contributions to the Community, which is evident by the Best Answers and Helpful Posts you’ve been awarded by other members of the Community. But, that is offset by the negativity that you’ve been bringing with it lately. And it has progressed to the point where you’re being combative with not just members of the Community but also those who are doing their best to moderate the Community and keep it not just a helpful place for IT professionals but also welcome and inviting.

  9. It’s safe to say that we don’t see eye to eye on how the Community is managed. And I can’t say that I’m always right. But, based on this behavior, the continued warnings, and having to keep your account in moderation without seeing any progress or changes, I’ve come to the decision that we are going to cancel your Spiceworks Community Account.

  11. This isn’t a decision I came to lightly. In fact, I’m generally hesitate to remove IT pros from the Community. So much that I believe we’ve only actually canceled a handful of members since I’ve been here (discounting spammers and home users). We do our best to try and work with SpiceHeads to see if we can resolve the issue(s) or at least get to a point where we may disagree on how things are managed but at least agree to abide by the rules and guidelines.

  13. It does not seem to me that we’re going to come to that agreement based on recent and past history. And while we can leave your account in moderation and approve those posts that are within our rules and guidelines, that feature is generally there as a tool to help someone understand what is and is not acceptable within our Community. As I said above, I do not see any indication of that happening in this situation.

  15. While your account is canceled, it still attributes anything you’ve posted in the Community to you. If you would prefer, we can leave it as is, remove your personal information from your profile, or completely anonymize it. If there is a particular method you’d prefer, please let us know.
