I initially thought the reviews here were a bit harsh. We moved from slack to chat only to discover it is woefully inadequate for most organisations, even small ones. Even IRC back in the 1990's had more features than this!

There is so much work to be done to make this a reasonable solution:

* No controls for workspace admins to limit who can create workspaces
* No ability for workspace admins to take control of workspaces or control all spaces in the organisation
* No ability to discover spaces that have been created by organisation members
* No ability to customise usernames
* No visual indicator when looking at a channel if it's restricted or limited to the organisation
* Clicking "+" when you want to search for a space is counterintuitive
* Online status for people doesn't work, showing people away rather than idle or online
* The Chat Webhook API requires Card v1 format, but documentation says this is deprecated and Card v2 should be used, but that doesn't work with webhooks and will result in errors
* Space icons can only be emojis, not custom avatars/ logos
* Using the account selector goes back to a webpage even if "installed" as a chrome app
* No ability to know when a person saw your private chat message, only if they did or did not
