- The Goblin and The Gash
- Limp Nicky
- “Hey, get out of here, you!” The small Goblin girl shouted, waving her fist. The masked man with the fire axe was already a good distance away by now, and showed no signs of hurrying at the completely unintimidating Goblin’s shouting. The Goblin bent down slightly over you, smiling. “It’s okay, he’s gone now!” She exclaimed. Her face shifted from one of joy to slight curiosity as she stared at your wound, her green eyes sparkling.
- Your chest had been nearly split in two, forming a large gash that travelled from the bottom of your neck down the length of your sternum. There was no doubt about it, this was the worst fucking wound you had ever amassed in your career. Blood poured into the wound with every beat of your heart, and your vision was growing darker by the second. You had already lost all the feeling in your body, and were essentially operating on adrenaline at this point. You were shivering violently, and were in complete shock at what happened, in more ways than one.
- “Oh wow, you’re really hurt, huh?” She asked, still maintaining the curious look on her face. “Hey, stay here, don’t move, I’ll be right back!” She shouted as she scampered off into the darkness of the building you were going to die in. The pitter of her footsteps echoed off of the walls of the empty room, only to be interrupted by her grunting and the clanging of metal. You heard a loud crash, like someone just slammed a car door, and then could hear her pitter coming back closer to you, the sound of something rattling accompanying her.
- “Okay, so, I’m not a doctor,” She started. Her blurry figure was coming into view quickly. “But, but! I know how to use first aid!” She cried out with pride, holding the first aid kit under one arm, and pumping her fist with the other. She threw the first aid box down, cracked it open, and began fishing around in it. After a few moments, she pulled out a small paper rectangle, ripping off the right edge of it in the process. She removed the other edge, revealing the contents: A small bandaid. She peeled off the wax ends of the bandaid, and pressed the sticky part on the very edge of the gash. It wasn’t long enough to reach to the other end of the wound.
- “Yaaaaay!” She cried, throwing up the both of her hands, smiling from ear to ear. The bandaid grossly peeled off of you, the skin too wet with blood to stick properly. It slipped into the gash in your chest, eliciting a sound of intrigue from the Goblin. “Hmm…” She mumbled, trying to figure out what to do. It was beginning to get to hard to keep your eyes open anymore. Your eyes began to flutter, and the Goblin took notice.
- “Are you sleepy? Go on to sleep! Sleeping always makes me feel better!” She nearly yelled. Your eyelids finally began to fall, the surrounding world slipping into darkness. “I’ll be here when you wake up, pretty promise!”
