- +Mike Ivsin __ You have misunderstood. No one is claiming that the Earth is a ball *because* a shadow can be shown to make its way around a pole (at a certain location during a certain time period). Rather - the claim is that *if the Earth is a ball then it would be possible to document a shadow making its way around a pole* (in a particular location during a particular time period). *_The fact we see no such thing is proof only that we see no such thing_*.
- If seeing such a thing would *necessarily prove* that the Earth is a ball then it would be what's termed "sufficient proof" (in lie system nomenclature) for the claim that the Earth is a ball - *and its absence would mean only that sufficient proof for the claim is not present*. In case you (or others reading) are not up to speed: *"sufficient proof" is that which necessarily proves a claim to be true and real and is always a singular "thing" that in-and-of itself proves the claim without needing anything added to it*. Sufficient proof does away with the need for "trust" and "faith" (unsurprisingly it is abhorred by liars).
- The absence of sufficient proof *is what forces the population/audience to use its imagination to fill in the blanks* so as to convince itself of a claim being true and real (or not true and real). However correct an audience member may be his or her belief at all times remains an "unjustified belief" (another specialised lie system term) until sufficient proof has been witnessed.
- Either we do not get to see the shadow complete its way around the pole because the Earth is not a ball as "Jeranism" asserts *or because sufficient proof has been intentionally withheld* as the emails "Jeranism" displayed could be construed to suggest.
- You cannot - _and must not_ - conclude that the Earth is *not a ball* simply because you have been presented with incomplete evidence. That does not follow. *_That is the failed logic of chumps and retards_*. It is the all too common "fallacy of the conspiracy theorist" to assert that Not-X is true because sufficient proof for X has not been witnessed.
- Though "Jeranism" is right to ask why such footage is not available (or at least readily seen) and there is a good reason for that. Unwittingly - "Jeranism" has stumbled upon the lie system's central magic trick *which is to intentionally and systematically withhold sufficient proof from the population/audience for events and claims* (certainly when it comes to first impressions about them).
- However - instead of recognising the magnitude of his find "Jeranism" has unfortunately fallen into the "truther trap" of assuming that the absence of sufficient proof means the claim cannot be true. Again - that does not follow - that is chump logic. "Jeranism" appears to be on to something but has unfortunately committed the "conspiracy theorists' fallacy" but all is not lost as this video can serve as a conversation starter on "sufficient proof". (I cannot possibly explain everything in a single reply but you've been handed the basics.)
- This *is* an important video that "Jeranism" has posted *but not for the reasons he (or you) may presently think*. If you are inclined to reply please think it through first - I am not your enemy. Cheers!
