>It's been around 5 months since you arrived in Equestria, the land of miniature, sentient equines.
>It's also the first month of your relationship with pegasus Rainbow Dash.
>She caught your eye from the day one.
>Her attitude and character was so much different than other ponies.
>She wanted to know everything about you. She wanted to know whether you have some alien powers, whether you can extend your already long arms and legs or blast lasers from those tiny eyes.
>Whenever she was hanging out with you, she looked so proud and confident.
>Rainbow Dash is a young weather mare. When she wasn't manipulating the weather or exercising, your house was her primary direction.
>She wanted to spend every single moment of her free time with you.
>You two were inseparable. You were going on small adventures, playing games, pranking other ponies and reading books.
>Every.
>Single.
>Day.
>You couldn't get bored with her.
>After some time she started acting a little bit strange around you.
>You became the reason why this normally talkative mare couldn't express herself.
>Every single friend of her noticed that, but she kept on denying it.
>Fluttershy warned you, that relationships in pony world may take really long to develop and you need to be patient. Especially with a mare as sensitive as Rainbow.
>After a while, Dash finally confessed, that she has a crush on you.
>You also spilled the beans and that officially made you and Rainbow a couple.
>It took you two weeks to even start cuddling, but seeing Dash slowly taking steps on yet undiscovered land of love was the most rewarding thing you could imagine...
*Knock, knock*
>Your imagined diary stops here because of damn knocking at the door
>You check the clock, it marks around 7:15 AM
>It's early, it can't be her.
"I'm coming!"
*Knock, knock*
"I said I'm coming, whoever you are, you don't want to see me partially naked!"
>You tie down the robe and head towards the entrance of your house.
>You unlock the lock, grab the knob and pull the door...
>"Hiya Anon!"
>You see your marefriend Rainbow Dash standing on your doormat, with fully extended wings, saddlebag on her back and a grin of excitement
"Hi Dashie, what's the matter? Do you want to come inside?
>"Nonono, I'm on my way to work. I just wanted to ask you something"
"Oh, go on"
>"D-do you want to sleep over at my place tonight?"
>You didn't see this one coming
>"I’ve cleared my schedule and we've got an entire evening just for ourselves!"
>God she's so excited
>The only time you've seen her house was when Dash and all her friends were showing you around Ponyville. You needed a couldwalking spell not to fall down from there like a bag of sand.
>And now she wants you to sleep at her own place. With her. Under the same roof.
>Act casually Anon
"Sure Dash, when I’ll afford my own balloon..." you respond with a dose of irony
>"I will pick you up by myself, dummy. I'll be here at 7"
>She extended her forehoof towards you giving a sign, that she demands a goodbye hug
>You kneeled down and hugged her neck.
>You could tell that she was flying really fast right before her arrival.
>The energetic combination of ozone and fresh air is her trademark. You love the way she smells.
>The cold tips of her hair tickling your skin gave you a little shiver, but after a little while you could feel an incredible warmth escaping through her soft coat.
>Every single time you were close to her, you discovered something fascinating about this mare. More and more little things to love.
>"Remember to ask Twi to do the magic" Dash whispered in your ear
>Before you were able to let her go completely, she dashed off with the speed of sound leaving your arms hanging in the air
>A few hours passed. With fresh cloudwalking spell you were ready. Twilight's latest spell should grant you that ability for almost 24 hours
>That's really impressive, given the fact, that her first attempts lasted on you just for a couple of hours. That unicorn really has talent to magic.
>On the other hand, that’s just a calculation. Trusting this much a magical pony with horn feels strange.
>Dash should be here in a minute... Yep
>You hear knocking
>The time spend with her showed that she's not really punctual, so seeing her acting this way warms your heart.
>"Hi babe, ready for the takeoff?"
>Has she just called you "babe"?
>She trots inside your house without asking
>She is so hyped today
"As long as you're sure that you won't drop me, I think so"
>"Pfft... Look at me, do I look like I wouldn't be able to lift you?" She hops onto your coffee table and flexes her muscles, playfully showing off like a bodybuilder
>The sight of her muscles poking through her blue coat is stunning. Her athletic body is just wonderful.
>Pegasi are generally a little bit smaller and slender than other ponies. Even considering how well-built she is, she is still so subtle. Perfection.
>"Heh, I know I'm looking good, but come on. You'll get enough of me today. Let's gooo"
>She jumps off the table and pats your stomach with her open wing.
>"Let's go outside"
>The nerve on this mare, you don't even know what to say.
>But you know her long enough that you can see through her. You know that she's really nervous right now.
>You swear, that you heard silent "nailed it" with her sweet raspy voice, when she was leaving your house.
"Give me a minute Rainbow"
>You take your toothbrush, turn off the lights, and finally close the door.
>The sun is slowly setting, it looks gorgeous outside.
>The thing about Equestria is that the weather here is almost always beautiful. Even the most boring, cloudy day has its own magic.
"You did a great job today, honey" You say that while admiring the skies.
>The words you said were the reason why a little blush started forming on her cheeks.
>You still can't process how her fur is blushing.
>Magic.
>"Heh, thanks Anon. I had to push my limits today. We planned a beautiful sunny weather."
>Dash's mansion is not far away, but you didn't want her to carry you around for nothing, so you two decided to walk until you get under her cloud fortress.
“So how was your day at work, Dashie?”
>”Nothing special… Oh, we got a new supply of heavy clouds from Cloudsdale.
>”They are literally heavy, Anon.” Underlining the “heavy” part
>”Thanks to me… well.. mostly, we moved them where they belong!”
>She looks so proud telling you about her little achievements
>”I’ve got an an entire evening and morning free, I don’t have to work till noon.
>Suddenly she stops.
>"We're here!"
>You both are standing in the middle of nowhere
"So this is where you live now? I gotta admit, it's very spacious in here. I like it."
>She scrunched her nose and gave you a suspicious look, but you kept your poker face.
>God she's so adorable when she's angry
>"Ha, ha, ha. Very funny, Anon.
>You couldn't hold your laugh anymore, she started giggling not long after
>"That wasn't even funny you... you...  nevermind... let me grab you"
>She placed her forehooves under your armpits and lift you like you would lift a cat.
>Your feet pulled off the ground and you are officially flying now
>How is she even able to hold you in the air like that, you don't know.
>The ground started becoming more distant, but in exchange for that, the outline of her mansion started becoming more visible.
>In the matter of seconds you are standing in front of Dashie's house.
>If you didn't know how cheap clouds are, and how easy it is to create a house out of them, you would think, that Dash is some kind of millionaire.
>It’s made entirely out of clouds of different kind, with many strange details and shapes. Some of them reminding you of ancient greek architecture.
>"You can look around while I'll be making some snacks for us. Oh, you can find all my trophies in my bedroom. You'll see that I'm awesome not only in tales!" Dash said puffing her chest out with pride.
>Rainbow disappeared in the kitchen and you started your tour through her home.
>It had only a few rooms, but they were really large.
>All coming out of one main hall.
>At the first glance her house was really tidy, but a closer look revealed, that Rainbow is not usually so fixated on keeping her place out of mess.
>She tried her best to make it look perfect just for you, but you can still see, that the drawers are about to explode with stuff that normally belongs on the floor
>Seeing her effort melts your heart once again.
>The room that caught your attention was her bedroom
>The walls are covered with Wonderbolts and Daring Do posters
>Right beside her trophies she has a great collection of Daring Do figures.
>On the floor, the great stack of board games and Daring Do books.
>Her voice coming from the kitchen meant the end of your trip.
>"Comohn Anohn...They..are... readyh..."
>Whatever she prepared, judging by her full mouth, it had to be delicious.
>You made your way to the living room. Looks like Dash made little cookies with chocolate chips
>"Pinkie made it look so easy and I had to try making them on my own. They turned out perfect if you ask me!" Said Dash munching her giant cookie and holding a plate full of smaller ones.
>"Here, try it!”
>She apparently made a one, giant cookie for you two to share
>You received your special, half eaten by Dashie treat, and gave it a try.
>"How is it? What do you think?"
>Rainbow points her full of hope magenta eyes at you and smiles widely
>You could see chocolate chips stuck between her teeth
>She is so adorable.
>Actually it tastes... good, maybe a little bit too sweet but it’s really... decent.
"It’s delicious, Dash."
>"I knew you'll love it! Another thing I'm awesome at"
>You sat on the couch and started consuming the plate of cookies with your mare.
>She leaned closer towards you as you started petting her.
>You run your fingers through the strands of her rainbow mane
>As you work you way through her scalp she slowly turns off and lets her weight direct her towards your body.
>Rainbow finally gives up and leans her head on your chest.
>She is getting more sleepy with every minute.
>You're sitting like that for a couple of minutes enjoying each other's company
>Then you hear raindrops
>More and more frequent
>Until it started raining so heavily, that Dash noticed it
>The only surprising thing about the rain was her reaction to it.
>She looks like she has just seen a ghost
"Looks like even my best weather captain can't predict the weather"
>She got straight up
>"Y-yeah... The weather..."
>Her breath got on pace and she started becoming more nervous with every second
>"Anon, there's something I have to tell you. I screwed up, big time."
"What are you talking about, Rainbow?"
>She looked at you with the expression full of guilt and worry
>"I...I..."
>Before she was able to explain, a lightning hit the roof of her house.
>It created a big hole poking outside
>Now when you think about it, you wouldn't even call it a hole.
>The entire roof section of the room you were at is gone
>The rainwater coming inside turned her living room into a shower.
>Rainbow drags you to the hallway.
>"We have to escape! Right now!"
"Dash, what's going on?"
>You two were all wet, Dash's mane was hanging down.
>You lean down to her, move her messed up mane aside and reveal her eyes
>She was just a step from crying
>"In Cloudsdale they said that me and my team need to take care of today's storm. To make sure it doesn't go out of control..."
*sniff*
>"B-but I couldn't, I was meeting with you tonight..."
>"So I switched teams, that way I could see you and just do their job tomorrow"
>She looked at you with watery eyes
>"B-but... they screwed up! It's all my fault! "
>And now she's crying.
>Seeing her crying broke your heart. She would do anything just for you.
>Every tear running down her cheek was like another knife in your heart
>She pressed her forehead against your chest and wrapped her hooves around you
"Rainbow..."
>"I could have predicted that! That mare wasn't experienced enough!"
>You hug her tightly and kiss the top of her head.
>Her weeping slowly stops as she calms down in your arms
>"I just didn't want to disappoint you..."
"It's okay Dashie. Is this safe for us to stay here?"
>"Y-yeah..."
*sniff*
>"The water can flow through the cloud floor... and everything there is basically waterproof"
*sniff*
"Let's just go to bed, it was a rough day for both of us"
>After a moment of silence Dash speaks up
>"I won't let you in my bed like that, we both need to dry off..."
>A smile started forming on her muzzle.
"Yeah, let's grab a towel then.
>She raised her head and looked at you with her beautiful eyes
>"Thanks... for everything Anon"
>She gave you a subtle peck on the lips
>"I love you, you know that?"
>This day won't stop surprising you.
"I love you too Dashie"
>You wrapped your arms around her once again.
>After this special moment you two went to the bathroom.
>Your clothes were pretty wet but your boxers were still dry.
>Thanks God
>”Tomorrow I’ll order some clouds to fix the roof, don’t worry. Don’t even think about opening the door until it stops raining”
>The cloud bed is probably the most comfortable thing you have been lying on in your entire life.
>There was something so special about lying in her bed.
>She crawled towards you and wrapped her hooves around your body.
>Your face is pressed against her forehead and her mane is tickling your skin
>Her natural scent got magically amplified by the fact, that she got wet a moment ago. The wet dog effect, but pleasant.
>You place your hand right under one of her wings.
>That made her hind hoof twitch a little
>Suddenly you feel a kiss of her warm lips on your neck.
>"Goodnight Anon"
"Goodnight Dashie"
