  1. The Constitution Eternal
  2.
  3. On Nation:
  4. A nation must be recognised the natural homeland of a common people whom share a common heritage and struggle throughout history. Thus, these men come together in declaring a constitution that secures their nation and freedoms as its citizens, descendant from the rights intrinsic to their nature as the ultimate sovereign over one’s own body and wit, and of the labours produced by them.
  5.
  6. On Justice:
  7. To prevent a state of warre, and to give fair hearing and just desert to all, an independent judiciary is established, impartial to all bar liberty, to which it serves. These servants of justice discover and enforce the common law of the land that is timeless and unchanging. Organised as best seen fit to serve their charge, ceding these duties only to those most loyal to this oath.
  8.
  9. On Defence:
  10. To protect from those whom would violate this nation, or seek to alienate from any citizen their right of life, liberty, or property, a general militia is established, eternally vigilant to these threats and capable in defence. The militia acts only but with the broad direction and approval of the judiciary, though petitions where it seeks this. Operationally independent and organised as best seen fit to serve their charge, ceding these duties only to those most loyal to this oath.
  11. On Statecraft:
  12. This nation and its constitution is personified as the Censor, who holds the authorities and duties of general statecraft. His first authority and duty is as head of the nation, representing the traditions, values and ideals of the nation and their advocacy in diplomacy. His second authority and duty is the maintenance of the census of all citizens, visitors, and property, and the provision of this census to the judiciary on request. The third authority and duty of the Censor is the restrained levying and accounting of funds from citizens for the sponsorship of necessary costs directly associated with the realisation of this constitution. The heritor of this title is nominated by the Censor as the citizen most honourable to the ideals of the nation and most capable in the execution of their duties.
  13. On Emergency:
  14. In unfortunate times of great crisis, as unanimously and unreservedly declared by the militia and judiciary, the Censor may assume the temporary office of Prefect, consolidating supreme martial and judicial powers, which he maintains and wields sparingly for the general security of the nation and its constitution. The office is dissolved immediately upon petition by either the general militia or judiciary.
  15.
  16. On Corruption:
  17. If the bearers and executors of this constitution become corrupted from their purpose and require expunging from office to maintain the freedoms of the nation, the Censor holds a free and fair vote of all citizens requesting by trial of two thirds the office of Dictator. He holds supreme power over all constitutional duties, to re-establish a more pure and honourable judiciary and militia in line with the intent of this constitution.
  18.
  19. On Revolution:
  20. If the Censor becomes corrupted and no longer embodies or serves the nation and its constitution, then he is a fraud, and so it becomes the duty of every citizen to revolt against his tyranny, and to discover a new Censor to assume his place and continue the traditions of the nation. The militia and judiciary, if left uncorrupted, continue the execution of their duties throughout and provide for the incoming Censor when established, else see the nation destroyed.
  21.
  22. On Temporality:
  23. While the traditions and cultures of its execution may be ever changing as the knowledge, beliefs, and preferences of men shift over time, this constitution, as with the rights and freedoms it defends, lasts in perpetuity, unbound by any margin, so long as men still wish to create and exist as part of civilisation.
