  1. *ding*
  2.
  3. The elevator doors opened and Hailey stepped in. She was carrying a basket full of clothes, and wearing a tight v-neck that showed off a generous amount of cleavage with some yoga pants hugging her butt.
  4.
  5. She pressed the ground floor button and sighed as the doors closed. She had all these powers, but none of them helped with laundry day. As the elevator started to descend from the top floor in silence, it gave Hailey time to reflect on recent happenings. Her crowdfunding for her heroics had actually been a massive success, especially after the bank robbery and some other times where she saved the day. A local diner even offered her free meals for life for saving the owner's daughter from a drunk driver. Though she wasn't actually sure how many people were supporting her because they wanted to support a local super hero or just because she had a huge rack, but she wasn't in a position to complain about that. She wasn't making a ton or anything, but it had been enough for her to cover her living expenses and quit her job! But still not enough to buy a washer and dryer, so she used the coin slot machines on the apartment's ground floor, just like everyone else.
  6.
  7. The elevator stopped a few floors down. The doors parted, revealing a guy carrying his own basket of dirty clothes.
  8.
  9. “Oh hey Ross!” Hailey said with a smile.
  10.
  11. His name was Ross Ryder, and she had seen him around the building from time to time. He'd actually been nice enough to help her carry some boxes up to her room when she first moved into the building after her friend had had to bail halfway through the move. She didn't know him super well but it was always nice to see him. He was about two inches shorter than her and had blue eyes that contrasted nicely with his light brown hair. A but in the skinny side, but still fairly toned. And hey, she had to admit that she thought he was cute.
  12.
  13. Ross' eyebrows raised upon seeing her. “Hey!” He stepped in the elevator as the doors closed behind him. “I was gonna ask you where you're headed, but I guess you're goin' the same place I am.”
  14.
  15. “Looks like we've got ourselves some sort of detective here.” She said playfully.
  16.
  17. “If I was a detective, I probably wouldn't be missing so many socks.”
  18.
  19. The elevator continued to descend.
  20.
  21. “Seriously, I have no idea where they go. It's like they have a mind of their own.”
  22.
  23. Hailey smirked. “Trust me, I know exactly what you mean.”
  24.
  25. Did you just compare me to socks?
  26.
  27. Hailey only smiled more.
  28.
  29. She turned to say something else to him, but stopped when she saw him. Ross was standing rigid, staring straight ahead at the door. It took her a second to realize why he was doing it. She honestly appreciated that he was trying so hard not to look at her boobs.
  30.
  31. The elevator dinged again as it reached the ground floor. The door opened and the two of them walked down the hallway to the laundry room.
  32.
  33. “So anyway, what's new with you?” Hailey said, putting her basket on top of one of the washers.
  34.
  35. Ross also placed his basket down and leaned against the washer. “Not a whole lot. My parents were over for dinner the other day and my mom made this really good meal. She left me all the leftovers of course, which isn't actually a problem, but there's way too much for just me.”
  36.
  37. Hailey wished she had that problem. Kyra had to eat a lot to keep her body energized. It would have been a lot easier if she ate like a snake too and only had to eat like once a month.
  38.
  39. You should ask him out.
  40.
  41. Excuse me?
  42.
  43. I don't even need to see the pheromones your body is producing to know that you like him. Ask him!
  44.
  45. Ross turned around, putting some laundry into the washer, completely oblivious to the mental conversation Hailey and her symbiote were having.
  46.
  47. I'm not gonna do that now! And besides, he's probably already in a relationship
  48.
  49. You've left me no other choice
  50.
  51. Before she could even ask what that meant, she felt her shirt getting tighter. She looked down to see her boobs expanding. Her cleavage bulged out of her v-neck, like it was trying to escape. The growing stopped soon after it had started, but she was noticeably a few cup sizes larger.
  52.
  53. What the hell are you doing!?
  54.
  55. Desperate times call for desperate measures
  56.
  57. At that moment, Ross turned around to say something, but stopped. His eyes grew slightly larger, and it was impossible to notice his eyes flick down towards her breasts, if only for a moment. He blinked a couple times and turned back towards the washer, grabbing the soap and trying to figure put if Hailey's breasts had always been that big.
  58.
  59. Hailey's freckled cheeks reddened
  60.
  61. Quick, undo it!
  62.
  63. Ask him! Or I do it again!
  64.
  65. This is blackmail!
  66.
  67. This is for your own good!
  68.
  69. Hailey felt the tingling sensation in her breasts once more. She had to act fast. As her shirt continued to stretch to make room for all the extra flesh, she just dumped her whole basket of laundry into the washer behind her. Each of her tits were now at least twice as big as her head, if not bigger. Hailey turned back around and just before Ross did the same, she grabbed her basket and tried her best to hold it casually in front of her, holding her boobs in and hiding them from view.
  70.
  71. You are evil!
  72.
  73. I'm helping you! I know you want this!
  74.
  75. Hailey sighed. This wasn't a battle she was going to win. Especially against something that had access to her subconscious desires.
  76.
  77. Ross merely raised an eyebrow. “You okay?”
  78.
  79. “Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. But I just thought I'd ask if you're… free for dinner or something?”
  80.
  81. Hailey felt her breasts shrinking back down and breathed a sigh of relief.
  82.
  83. Ross blinked. “Oh. Uh, I have to pick something up from a friend's place tonight, but he doesn't get off work until really late, so yeah, I'm free. Do you want to… go out somewhere?”
  84.
  85. Hailey's green eyes practically lit up. She could already feel the symbiote's smug aura. She definitely wouldn't hear the end of this.
  86.
  87. She brushed her hand through her hair. “Well if you wanted we could just do something small. How about I come over to your place and share some of those leftovers? See if your mom's cooking is as good as you say.”
  88.
  89. Ross smiled. “It's a date.” He turned his washer on and turned to leave. “See you at room 406 around 7?”
  90.
  91. “I’ll be there.” Hailey said as she poured detergent into the machine.
  92.
  93. She watched him leave and as soon as he was out of the room, she but her lip. But then her expression changed to one of annoyance.
  94.
  95. “Not a single word out of you.”
  96.
  97. The symbiote didn't respond, but just sprouted a black arm out of her side, and closed the washer's lid, turning it on.
  98.
  99.
  100.
  101.
  102.
  103.
  104.
  105. Hailey was back in front of her room, standing in front of her mirror, wearing only black underwear.
  106.
  107. “Alright, let's see what you got.”
  108.
  109. The underwear suddenly started to spread over her body, stretching and changing shape. The alien substance mimicked fabrics as a long flowing dress formed over her body, with a low cut top hugging her breasts.
  110.
  111. “That is way too formal. I'm going to his apartment, not a ball!”
  112.
  113. The dress split itself into pant legs, turning blue and transforming into a denim material. Her top separated from the bottom half, forming itself into a loose t-shirt.
  114.
  115. “See, now you've just gone too far in the other direction. I look like I decided to stay home. Can't you find a happy medium?”
  116.
  117. The t-shirt suddenly constricted, pushing her breasts up as it turned into a leather corset. Leather gloves formed around her hands and her pants parted into various belts that wrapped themselves around her thighs. She was raised into the air slightly as boots with very high heels appeared on her feet, and chains linked together all over her outfit.
  118.
  119. Hailey put her hands on her hips. “Hilarious, really.”
  120.
  121. The door to her room suddenly opened as Kyra let herself in.
  122.
  123. “I was wondering, could we…” She stopped upon seeing Hailey who had turned to face her, not looking very happy.
  124.
  125. “I thought we agreed you would knock first!” she said, throwing her arms up in the air, causing the chains on her outfit to rattle.
  126.
  127. “Oh, is that a new outfit for battle?”
  128.
  129. Hailey just facepalmed. “Well, they do say love is a battlefield.”
  130.
  131. “Love?” This only seemed to intrigue Kyra even more. She made her way into the room, her long tail sliding through the door. “Who's the lucky warrior?”
  132.
  133. “Why would he be a warrior? He's just a normal guy who lives in the building.”
  134.
  135. Now it was Kyra's turn to look a little annoyed. “Why would you go on a romantic conquest with someone who can't handle themselves in a fight? What makes this man so special?”
  136.
  137. “I guess you'll just have to find out. Now get out of my room!” Hailey said, shoving her towards the door. Kyra tried to object but Hailey pushed the rest of her tail out the door, shutting it in her face.
  138.
  139. “You can't hide him from me forever!” Kyra shouted from the other side of the door.
  140.
  141. Hailey was beginning to think she was jealous. Still, her more concerning matter was getting something to wear. “Look, In picturing something in my head, just do something like that.”
  142.
  143. Her corset's material changed to something more cloth like, loosening a bit, but also leaving some of her midriff exposed, and it pulled itself upwards over her breasts, two spaghetti straps extending over her shoulders. Her lower section turned into a medium length skirt that ended just above her knees. The outfit was mostly black, but had orangeish gold lines running around it.
  144.
  145. “Was that so hard?”
  146.
  147. Hailey opened the her door and walked towards the exit. Kyra was laying on the couch with her tail wrapped around it. Her arms were crossed and pressing into her breasts as she squinted at Hailey, watching her walk towards the door.
  148.
  149. “I already taught you how to use the microwave, so feel free to heat up the leftovers that are in the fridge.” Hailey said on her way out. A black arm sprouted out the side of her dress, grabbing her keys off the hook. “Oh, thanks.” Hailey shut the door and locked it with the third arm. A pocket on her skirt suddenly opened as the symbiotic hand dropped them in, the pocket sealing itself behind them. So far so good.
  150.
  151.
  152.
  153.
  154.
  155.
  156.
  157. *knock knock knock*
  158.
  159. Ross opened the door, smiling. He was wearing a nice looking turtleneck with a pair of jeans. Hailey was worried that she might have overdressed.
  160.
  161. “You look great!” he said, gesturing his hand towards her outfit.
  162.
  163. “You're not so bad yourself. Didn't peg you for a turtleneck kinda guy though.”
  164.
  165. Ross shrugged. “They're comfortable. Now come on.” He stepped aside to let Hailey through.
  166.
  167. She walked in and the room felt familiar but different. It had the same floor plan as her own apartment other than the wall separating the kitchen from the dining room, yet he had made it his own. Although it did look like some of the room had hastily been cleaned up because he was having a guest over. She could relate to that. One of the most noticeable things about the room itself was that he had large framed retro movie posters hung up on the wall.
  168.
  169. “So you're a movie buff, huh?”
  170.
  171. Ross rubbed the back of his neck. “Yeah, I wanted to be in the movie business when I was younger, but plans change I guess. Anyway, dinner will be ready soon, I'm just gonna toss the salad. Make yourself comfortable and I'll be right out with the food.”
  172.
  173. Hailey nodded and found herself a spot on his couch. Other than the posters, it was pretty much your average bachelor pad. Some boxes were stacked neatly in the corner, there was a large tv with some game console before it, and a computer desk on the other side of the room. There wasn't anything on the balcony. At least, there wasn't a second ago. Something was coming down from above. Something with long white hair.
  174.
  175. Oh no.
  176.
  177. Hailey stood up rapidly, hands clenching the sides of her head. “Uh, Ross? I'm gonna step outside for a second, it's… kind of hot in here.” She shouted towards the kitchen.
  178.
  179. “Kay, just be careful, the latch can be fussy.” He shouted back. “I’ll be out with dinner in a second.”
  180.
  181. She quickly walked over to the door, fiddled with the laugh and opened the sliding glass door, closing it behind her. Looking up, she saw Kyra hanging upside down, struggling to hold her boobs out of her face.
  182.
  183. “What the hell are you doing here!?” Hailey angrily exclaimed with a whisper.
  184.
  185. “You said I'll have to find out about him so that's what I'm doing!” Kyra whispered back.
  186.
  187. “How the hell did you even know where to look?” Hailey leaned over the balcony while looking upwards, and saw her long green tail stretched as far is it could a few floors up, barely hanging onto the balcony of her apartment.
  188.
  189. “Please, I can track you by smell alone.” Kyra flicked a forked tongue out of her mouth.
  190.
  191. “You need to go back right now! Before someone sees you!”
  192.
  193. Still hanging upside down, Kyra held her breasts from flopping in front of her face with one arm, and used the other to grab the overhang of the balcony window, trying to pull her head down within view. “Not until I at least see what he looks like.”
  194.
  195. Hailey was more than annoyed now, she was mad. She started to grow almost involuntarily, her legs stretching and her head almost hitting the underside of the balcony of the next floor. The balcony she was standing on groaned under her weight, but held fast. Hailey grabbed Kyra's torso with one hand and turned her upright to face her.
  196.
  197. Meanwhile, Ross was inside, setting the table, completely oblivious to the giant pair of legs that were just behind him outside.
  198.
  199. “If you don't go back right now I'm canceling my netflix subscription.”
  200.
  201. Kyra's eyes narrowed. “You wouldn't dare.”
  202.
  203. “Try me.”
  204.
  205. The two girls started at each other, but Kyra accepted defeat, hanging her head in shame. Hailey let her go as her tail started to pull her back towards the top floor.
  206.
  207. Hailey breathed a sigh of relief and quickly shrunk back down. She looked inside to see Ross just turning around after setting the table, waving her in. She stepped through the sliding door and closed it.
  208.
  209. “Do you want me to turn the thermostat down?” Ross asked.
  210.
  211. “Thermostat? Oh, no, I'm fine now really. Just a little fresh air was all I needed.” Hailey explained as she sat herself down at the table, almost forgetting the excuse she had made to go out in the first place.
  212.
  213. Ross sat himself down as well as they both began to eat their caesar salads.
  214.
  215. “So, what plans changed?” Hailey asked between bites. “Y'know, about the movie stuff.”
  216.
  217. He shrugged. “Money mostly. No way could my parents afford sending me to film school. Now I just work from home as a web designer. What about you?”
  218.
  219. “I just quit my dumb retail job not too long ago actually.
  220.
  221. “And what do you do now?”
  222.
  223. Hailey paused. “I… help clean up the city.”
  224.
  225. “You mean you work in sanitation?”
  226.
  227. “Uh, yeah, something like that.”
  228.
  229. “Well you're a braver person than I.” he said, standing up out of his chair and picking up their salad bowls. “There's no way I'd be able to do a job like that. I'm kind of a wimp when it comes to getting my hands dirty.”
  230.
  231. Ross headed towards the kitchen and came back with plates of delicious smelling ham, with sides of mashed potatoes and various vegetables. He set a plate down in front of her and sat himself back down. Hailey took a bite.
  232.
  233. “Well, you were right about your mom being a good cook.” She said after swallowing a mouthful of mashed potatoes. The symbiote certainly seemed to enjoy it as well.
  234.
  235. “She'd probably be upset if she knew I was sharing this. She thinks I'm too skinny.”
  236.
  237. “Well, speaking of body types, can I ask you an honest question?”
  238.
  239. “Sure.” He said, taking another bite.
  240.
  241. “How do you feel about me being taller than you? I'm above average height wise, and I know that can bother some guys.”
  242.
  243. Ross blinked. “Well, I uh… I'm into it. I mean, not into it, that sounds weird, but uh, yeah, I like it. I mean I'm fine with it.”
  244.
  245. Now that answer intrigued her. He was starting to get a bit flustered, and she found it kind of cute, so she decided to press him more about it.
  246.
  247. A smug smile ran across her lips. “Be honest, you think it's hot, don't you?”
  248.
  249. Ross shifted in his seat. His cheeks had reddened a bit. “I mean… yes, I find it attractive. Not that you aren't attractive already or anything, of course not! You're beautiful, it just… helps…and I've always thought taller women were hot, I even have a poster of attack of the 50 foot woman in my room and…”
  250.
  251. Ross just buried his face in his hands. “I was too honest, wasn't I?”
  252.
  253. “Just honest enough I'd say.” She said, winking at him.
  254.
  255. He wiped his forehead. “Better not let this food get cold!” he said, shoveling some into his mouth.
  256.
  257. Quick, now ask him if he likes girls with sharp teeth
  258.
  259. I think I've gone to far already, I'm definitely not doing that.
  260.
  261. It didn't take too long to finish their meals after that, and Ross eventually started engaging in small talk again. He picked up their plates and threw them in the sink. Hailey was surprised at how much time had gone by. She'd genuinely been enjoying herself. The time came to leave, and Ross grabbed his keys, walking out the front door with her.
  262.
  263. “Hey, sorry about teasing you so much.” She said as he was locking the door behind him. “I got caught up in the moment.”
  264.
  265. Ross chuckled. “It's no big deal, really.
