  1. [23:50] Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín asks, "Wha?"
  2. [23:50] Nameless says, "You from dawn? Watched you came down stairs."
  3. [23:50] Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín asks, ".. Why ya care?"
  4. [23:50] Nameless says, "Hunting."
  5. [23:50] Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín asks, "H.. huntin?"
  6. [23:51] Nameless says, "Hunting."
  7. [23:51] Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín asks, ".. People?"
  8. [23:52] He tilts his head, He nods, "The most dangerous game." People, Man. That was what people were talking about right?...
  9.
  10. "No clue how to appease them....But a good hunt would. Yes?..." He draws his scythe as his eyes narrows on the younger child.
  11.
  12. "Yes." He self confirms.
  13. (Nameless)
  14. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  15.
  16. [23:59] "A.. A game? Ya think huntin' people is a game?!"
  17.
  18. The kid was pretty chill with most folks. They didn't get excitable about much, preferring to live and let live as best they could- But certain things.. They irked them. Kirsi took several paces closer, hazel eyes backlit by hazy blue light.
  19.
  20. "Ya realize what ya said yah? Ya wanna kill another livin' human or somethin similar, with just.. Playin. T'appease.. What, ya tryin' t'appease spirits? That what ya wanna do?"
  21.
  22. White light flickered at their fingertips, if faintly.
  23.
  24. They waited, to see the response, but they prepared.
  25.
  26. To defend themself, and nothing more.
  27. (Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín)

  30. [00:04] He tilts his head, did he not use the word game wrong? He did not mean a literal game, but as a prey, He was searching for prey that far outstrips the likes of common boar and deer.
  31.
  32. Ah, Words were so tricky. "Patron spirits." It was all he said before he lashed out, He had given him enough time to make his decision.
  33.
  34. Fight or Flight. Energy rolled off his body in waves as he snarls.
  35. (Nameless)
  36. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  37.
  38. [00:15] Simple words. As if that answered the child's questions. Kirsi let out a huff, ducking the first blow. They'd seen it coming, they'd faced this sort of aggression before. This very day, even. It was irritating that some people just didn't listen.
  39.
  40. "There's better things t'hunt!"
  41.
  42. Several steps, they jolted back. One hand lifted, and that faint glow grew brighter. Intense, though it flickered every so often. Like a lightbulb with interrupted power flow. A similar light started to engulf the kid's form.
  43.
  44. Then, they lifted their hand to their lips. Several times today they had offered blood, and they did so again now. Calling out, as droplets of crimson spilled free.
  45.
  46. "Spirits! I call on ya aid, find sustenance in mine own blood- And his."
  47. (Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín)
  48. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  49.
  50. [00:23] "Blood letting does not appease the spirits!" He growls as his scythe came in a wide arc cleaving through two of them as they were summoned. He then blurs as he rushed down his foe!
  51.
  52. Better things to hunt? This feeling he felt in combat. This desire to defeat no-
  53.
  54. Devour his foe, It far outclassed what he felt when he killed the boar!
  55.
  56. He throws himself into a reckless lunge spinning as his weapon came out to clip the young male's legs as he flew passed him. One must remove the target's ability to flee before lashing out with the final blow!
  57.
  58. "This bounty I dedicate to the Plague wolf...May his flesh appease him..." Or at the very least sate him enough that he wouldn't devour the Ookami himself.
  59. (Nameless)
  60. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  61.
  62. [00:34] All the more they could do was plead. Silently drawing more deeply upon what had awakened their magic already. Silently offering their own blood to the spirits which fought alongside them- Shielding themself, when a blow came their way. Casting out a shockwave of that brilliant light to linger around them.
  63.
  64. Protective energy which was meant to ward the hunter away. They, however, could not keep this up. Their connection faded, and flickered out eventually. The spirits were the only thing left.. He caught them up, tripped them over, but their spirits caught the child. Those invisible things drew the kid away, so they could not immediately be felled.
  65.
  66. A second chance..
  67.
  68. They couldn't just be defensive. Fighting like that, it was obviously not working. The light had flickered out, but their heart was pounding. Their headache was getting worse. Kirsi grit their teeth, and shut their eyes.
  69.
  70. And they let that pressure flow..
  71.
  72. Abruptly white light flickered and flared to life. The scent of ozone filled the air, electricity sparking from their fingertips. Sparking across their skin. They focused that flow, as they'd been told, into their palms- And sent it flying. They did not plan on being prey.
  73. (Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín)
  74. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  75.
  76. [00:37] ** Nameless has inflicted an injury upon Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín. ("Temporary Injury", "Temporary Injury", "Temporary", "Duration: Medium (4 days)") **
  77. [00:50] His foe continued to fight defensively, Warding him off with his electric attacks and spirits to body block or carry him. But the Nameless hunter would not dissuaded, Wind bolsters his movement as he catapults himself into his foe utilizing his full body weight in order to send his prey off it's feet while at the same time pinning him the ground.
  78.
  79. The ground is torn asunder as he drags the younger boy through the earth plowing the lands as they slide across the plains until slowing to a stop. He could barely contain it...! This excitement! Sparring did not come close to this! This aroma, was it fear? Was it blood? It tickled his nostrils, It was seducing him! His gum peels back revealing many fangs like canines, His mouth opens as he suddenly latched on to the younger male, A canine like guttural growl escaping through throat as his teeth sank into shoulders, He could feel it, He could -feel- something watching him. Someone.
  80.
  81. 'Witness me..!'
  82.
  83. Blood spilled outward spraying the plains for as the young boy grew silent. Allowing the taste to settle in...
  84.
  85. "....!"
  86. "...!!!"
  87.
  88. His heart begin to thump as his teeth gnash together, He rears his head back not letting go of the pinned male and twist his head to the side to tear his flesh free! T-This taste..! He imagined it would be sweet but it wasn't, It was similar to pork, tangy, enriching and best of all...
  89.
  90. Fufilling, For the first time, The Ookami felt his hunger pangs go silent...
  91.
  92. He chews in silence, His eyes glazing over as if he was in a trance, His grip on his prey momentarily weakening.
  93. (Nameless)

  97. [01:08] It was everything they could do to keep standing. To keep the power flowing through them. Pushing their powers to the limits, far more than they had ever felt before. Something wild and erratic, something inconsistent. Flung outward..
  98.
  99. But it wasn't enough. It was nowhere near enough.
  100.
  101. Eventually, it all flickered out. The pressure was too much, the kid forced to the ground. Pinned against the earth, the grass. It was a blessing their glasses did not crack once more, as the more physical weight of his body kept them down. Hazel eyes no longer glowed. They were wide and full of terror. Beneath him they struggled, grasping desperately for any bit of magical power.
  102.
  103. For now, it failed them. It eluded their grasp. And oh how painful the result. As their flesh was bitten into the child shrieked, an anguished cry. Pain and horror- They felt sick to their stomach as the warm blood spilled across their form. As they felt teeth digging so deep.
  104.
  105. Then he tore his head back and away, and the child once more cried. A scream to echo into the very heavens above. The sensation of torn flesh was too much to bear.. White light started to flicker to life once more. It built, and-
  106.
  107. In a holy-tinged blast of electicity, the child forced the Ookami away. Locking up muscles, searing flesh. In the moments he was stunned, enjoying his little 'meal', the child forced themself to their feet- Then collapsed again into electricity themself. They darted away, sparking through the air in a wild dash.
  108.
  109.
  110. (Kirsi Ó Cnáimhín)
  111. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  112.
  113. [01:18] Electricity crackles as he flinches away. His foe running off but at the moment.....He didn't care. He focusing on chewing on what he took, The first bite-
  114.
  115. The first step. He swallows as he stares upward into the night sky.
  116.
  117. 'Delicious'
  118.
  119. It was probably better this way, The individual would grow and become stronger for the next hunt. Yes?...
  120.
  121. Yes. He will grow into a bounty that was worthy for the Plague wolf. He failed to capture him but he felt this would still appease the divine spirit.
  122.
  123. He licks his lips free of blood as his eyes caught sight of the moon. He felt weightless for a moment, He remembered Nubia's advice and he did what came natural.
  124.
  125. A ghastly howl escaped his lips, It sung of praises to the spirits above and of hope for a better hunt.
  126. (Nameless)
