  1. She nodded at the girl and then turned her attention to Jhin. Ember eyes looked at him from behind her mask that hid her smile. "Ah, Jhin. We've a prisoner with two broken arms. Would you like to assist?"
  2. (Tsu Iclyn)
  3.
  4. A quirk of his head is made, curiously studying the face-less Kitsune with gently raised eyebrows. He wasn't aware that they had captured anyone as of recent, but it wasn't as if he was privy to the sort of information, anyway. He'd offer a small nod of his head, his arms neatly folding behind his back as his expression remains solemn. He wasn't necessarily excited to get more practice in, but he would certainly not mind assisting where he could.
  5.
  6. "Yes, Miss Tsu. I would very much so like to assist. Who did we capture, exactly?"
  7. (Jhin Wvelven)
  8.
  9.
  10. Nirlaxo says, "An Oscuri."
  11. Tsu starts to speak but is interrupted. She looks over her shoulder at the dryad then back to Jihn.
  12. (Tsu Iclyn)
  13.
  14.
  15. Tsu Iclyn says, "They surrendered. Come, we can speak more in the prison."
  16. Shai clears her throat. She speaks aloud.
  17. (Shai Oshura)
  18.
  19.
  20. Shai Oshura asks, "Does anyone know of a runesmith who can write exalted runes?"
  21.
  22. Nasu Ixis Kimyona says, "I guess that's another reason to save Krez, he was one."
  23. Tsu leans over to look at Shai as she answers, "Magdalen."
  24. (Tsu Iclyn)
  25.
  26.
  27. Nirlaxo says, "I don't myself Shai."
  28.
  29. Tsu Iclyn says, "And Shizuko in Crafthold."
  30.
  31. Shai Oshura says, "... Eh.."
  32.
  33. Shai Oshura says, "Thanks... I'll need one on my blade soon..."
  34.
  35.
  36.
  37. Huangzhou [SETTLEMENT]
  38.
  39. The last remaining settlement of the people of the land of Sheng. Traditional style homes are abundant with a core of decendants of the original settlers of these lands.
  40.
  41. The people tend to be the hardiest specimens of that race, only the fittest and cunning were able to survive this long in these war torn lands.
  42.
  43.
  44. Tsu Iclyn has entered the room.
  45.
  46. Althalos would wake with a start, it seems he fell asleep standing up
  47. (Althalos)
  48.
  49.
  50. Althalos says, "Hm? oh, hello."
  51. Tsu entered the prison carrying a large, heavy bag with a red cross on its side. She had another smaller paper sack in her other hand. She sat both upon the table, first opening the medical bag wide to show the tools she had brought with her.
  52.
  53. The ones that would be most useful was a syringe and some lax essence to inject for his pain. Several roles of cotton bandages and a jar of plaster that need to be mixed with water before being basted onto the bandages to create casts.
  54.
  55. Turning to the smaller sack, she reaches in and pulls out one slice of a bream maki roll. She turns to the Oscuri prisoner and offers to feed it to him while she speaks to Jihn.
  56.
  57. "This one broke both of his own arms to show that he was not a threat to our citizens. You will need to set his bones and then wrap them in a cast. I have all the supplies you should need in the bag. Do you have any questions about how to perform the procedure?"
  58. (Tsu Iclyn)
  59.
  60. Jhin studies the Oscuri with ill-hidden contempt, though confusion was the main expression worn upon his features. What would possess a devout follower of Azrael to renounce their god and walk straight into enemy territory? He was skeptical at the very least, but for an Oscuri to renounce their god had dire consequences. It was not an action to be done lightly, and re-acquiring the blessing was next to impossible under most circumstances. Redemption was always far more difficult to achieve, than devastation. The Wvelven would study Tsu as she removed a few items, only to examine the Oscuri's arms.
  61.
  62. "I would prefer being walked through the process, just in case I mess up on my own accord. I would assume that we would want to inject him with lax essence, first and foremost. Do we have splints to help set his bones, or is it something to be done by hand?" He inquires, already washing his hands in order to sterilize them.
  63.
  64. He's mildly nervous, but it's buried beneath a show of confidence. He exudes it to the point where even he believed he could not do wrong with a simple task.
  65. (Jhin Wvelven)
  66.
  67. Althalos would regard the kitsune with a curious look. He'd attempt to wave, but the shattered arms wouldn't move at all. Instead, he'd settle with a nod.
  68.
  69. "You need not treat me. Resetting my arms will be enough."
  70.
  71. He'd stare towards the two.
  72.
  73. "I fear those in town will yet see me as a threat should my arms be repaired completely"
  74.
  75. A slight frown would settle on his face.
  76.
  77.
  78. (Althalos)
  79.
  80.
  81. Althalos says, "Lax essence is also unnecessary. I can handle that much. Though my left arm is likely shattered, considering I cannot feel my fingertips."
  82. She sighed and shook her head at Althalos, "Don't be ridiculous. You'll be in casts and hardly able to use your arms."
  83.
  84. "The lax essence is as much for relaxing your muscles and reducing swelling as it is for numbing your pain. It is a requirement."
  85.
  86. Her attention turned back to Jhin, she nodded. "Yes, as you say. As you will be applying a plaster cast, there is little need for a splint."
  87.
  88. "The fracture reduction must be performed by hand. You may feel along the bone with your fingers to determine the shape of the fracture. That will determine how you twist his arm to realign the bones. It is a rather straight forward process. The most tedious part is constructing the cast while being careful not to disturb the set fracture."
  89. (Tsu Iclyn)
  90.
  91.
  92. (From behind the door:)
  93.
  94. She sighed and shook her head at Althalos, "Don't be ridiculous. You'll be in casts and hardly able to use your arms."
  95.
  96. "The lax essence is as much for relaxing your muscles and reducing swelling as it is for numbing your pain. It is a requirement."
  97.
  98. Her attention turned back to Jhin, she nodded. "Yes, as you say. As you will be applying a plaster cast, there is little need for a splint."
  99.
  100. "The fracture reduction must be performed by hand. You may feel along the bone with your fingers to determine the shape of the fracture. That will determine how you twist his arm to realign the bones. It is a rather straight forward process. The most tedious part is constructing the cast while being careful not to disturb the set fracture."
  101. (Tsu Iclyn)
  102.
  103. A thoughtful expression crosses his face, before a smile broadly shines in the midst of it all. "In that case...Keepint it aligned will be an easy task for me! I can utilize gravity magic to keep the bones set while constructing the cast. It's a bit tedious to attempt, but I am positive that I can manage it without issue." He states quietly, already setting himself to the task. The needle that contained the lax essence would be lightly flicked to ensure that there were no faults within it. Positive that it was functional, he would slowly tap along the Oscuri's arm to find a proper vein, where the needle is plunged into. Injecting the necessary medicine into the prisoner in question, he would allow a few minutes to set in before proceeding.
  104.
  105. Even if it was an Oscuri, Jhin wouldn't take it upon himself to inflict unnecessary pain. His hands would set itself to the task of bracing the Oscuri's arm in front of him, tenderly running his hands along the point of where the bones disconnected. With a concentrated effort, he would aim to align the bones together via twisting his arm once the shape of the fracture had been ascertained.
  106.
  107. From there, a simple means of utilizing gravity magic to keep the bones in place would be utilized. It's a process that causes him to have to focus on the task in its entirety, but he was capable of such now that he's come to harness potent magical potential. The cast would be constructed via the jar of plaster that would inevitably be mixed with water along the lad's arms.
  108.
  109. The process is a painstaking one, but he would lather the mixture along the boy's arms, ensuring that the cast was snug and secure along the fractured region to promote a proper realignment. He double checks his work with the first arm, and once he's positive he has the process down, he would move on to the next.
  110.
  111. It's a long, tedious process, but Jhin would successfully manage to cast both of the Oscuri's arms, after ensuring that his bones were properly aligned all the while. Naturally, Tsu would help along the way if he erred, but at the end of it all, he'd wipe his forehead tirely.
  112.
  113. All done!
  114. (Jhin Wvelven)
