Catherine arrives in Saffron and meets up with Silver, where they go to Viridian to try and find Green since they assume Red is with him. Catherine is instead told that Red’s hiding up at Mount Silver, and Green’s their best shot at navigating it safely, on the condition Red gave him being that Catherine beats the gym leaders. While they can be won unofficially, she needs the badges and it’s an excuse for her to train up her mons for the Elite Four. The other gym leaders comply under Red and Lance’s orders, while she is assumed AWOL in Johto. The world slowly ends.

Catherine arrives in Saffron and meets up with Silver, where it’s determined that she can either just stay hidden in the city, or stay hidden while she wanders around and they work together to train her team together. Since she wants to talk to her brother, but also check in on her father’s side of the family, they first go to Viridian (instead of Celadon) to try and find Green while on the way to Pallet, since they’re already going out of the way. They try to meet up with Green, who essentially kicks them off into a wild goose chase as they go around and travel and train. Eventually they meet up with him at Cinnabar, and he takes them proper to Mt. Silver.

Catherine arrives in Pallet Town and stays the night with her aunt. She travels up to Viridian and speaks with Green, who sends her on a wild goose chase that she wanted to go on anyway and train while she looks for her brother.


Catherine finds out Red is up on Mt. Silver and that Green is the best means of finding him when he does go up there. Green tells them to not even bother until she can beat him in a match (which they both know she can’t) and sends her off to go do some training, she takes that as her cue to wander around as to not go stir crazy.

Catherine arrives in Pallet Town via Tohjo Falls, and

Lt. Surge, Erika, Green, and Sabrina are the gym leaders i see easiest to have a scene with cath
blaine and such would be a harder sell but cinnabar is something, brock i wanted to make part of the distant family to clay which is tempting but mm, koga's generic, misty i like but also i'm not getting any ideas

lysandre - god of medicine, loves augustine who keeps dying and reincarnating every thirty years, association with xerneas (And thus close with cath but ;v)
gavin - god of space
augustine - god of animal (husbandry), zelda's his sister, see: lysandre. could show his perspective in things or another era while he's dying.
godfrey - god of storms (or wind if i wanna go that route to dawn's lightning) and i mean, he has showed up in dd before so he could pop by goldenrod and stuff too, already elite 4 member. could make him more heavily from everyone dies with the sickness and stuff having it be ascension related.
dawn - making history in her own right serving as an intern for rowan, female perspective, frey's sis
