- Tsaaq: Remy dragged Eugene's suitcase from out of the music room and stood it up behind the couch. "This was the deal. The semester is starting it's time for you to fucking bail. See you. Where's your plane ticket?" He fussed. // Eugene followed behind Remy hurriedly. "I'm not going back there! And I'm not going back to Fairleigh Dickinson. I don't want to be in New Jersey anymore. I want to be here with you... And Hayley. You guys are different. I wanna be different too!" He argued. He and Remy fighting to grab the suitcase.
- Covet: Cadence had been sitting at the kitchen table looking at her laptop, She'd been listening to the arguement going on for a while, but didn't want to step in. She felt bad for the kid, but at the same time, she knew where Remy stood on the matter, having been very clear before Eugene had even got there. She turned to look at them both, seeing how adamant Eugene was about not going back.
- Tsaaq: "Where the hell is your ticket Eugene!?" He asked again. He let go of the suitcase and went to smack him upside the head. "Where?" Remy yelled. // Eugene shook his head and attempted to swat Remy away. "I threw it away! Stop it! Just give me my stuff! I'll figure this out myself!"
- Covet: Cadence furrowed her brow, and got up walking over to them, "Hey, no need to get slap happy. I'm pretty sure they have it on record at the airport, they can just print him off a new one." She said putting her hand on his arm, before she adressed Eugene. "Eugene, you need to go home, at least to tell them face to face you don't want to be there anymore. They're expecting you back."
- Tsaaq: Remy hurried shrugged her off of him. "No! I'm fucking tired of this." Remy scoffed. "This shit is stressing me out." He went to grab the suitcase before Eugene could. // He grumbled, turning away from the two of them and heading for the door. "I'm not going! I don't want to be quiet lonely Eugene anymore!" He said, trying to shout but the words were still awkward. "I'll just get a job here and..." He trailed off then went to turn and walk away.
- Covet: "And what? You don't have a place to live... Couch surfing is only going to get you so far. Do you actually have a plan?" Cadence said folding her arms, turning away from Remy, She wasn't yelling, but her voice was still firm. "How do you intend to tell your parents, and get them to accept it and not come out here to escort yourself home?"
- Tsaaq: "Grandma and my mom are going to kill me." Remy put his face in his hands and began to feel his face get hot from how enraged he was. "EUGENE! You little fuck! I swear to god if you don't get back over here."// "My mom is dead, my dad barely knows I'm alive. I think I'll be fine." Eugene sassed in a monotone as his hand lingered on the door knob. "Don't worry... I'll call you and text Remy all the time. I'm not dumb or anything. I kind of have a plan." He said as he opened the door.
- Covet: "Oh.." She said immediately feeling that slight pang of guilt." What's the plan then?" Cadence asked him not budging, before she looked over at Remy, "Remy!. Yelling is clearly not doing anything, Maybe calling one of them to get them to talk some sense into him would be a little more helpful right now. Your mom should at least understand a willfull child." She said putting her hands on her hips.
- Tsaaq: He went to storm over to Cadence, hovering over her. "Call my mother? I'm supposed to be the adult in this situation. What do I say? Hey Jacque! Guess who still can't get his younger relatives to listen to him! Time for you to step in because I'm useless!" He shouted, pointing at himself. "Well I can't help but yell. I don't know what else to do. I tried being a dick so he wouldn't like it here and he still wants to stay!" // Eugene went silent as Cadence and Remy argued, his head lowering. He shook his head as he looked over at Remy. "Yeah I know thats what you were doing because you're a cliche." He scoffed. "Don't you get it? I wanna be like you." Eugene said, a bit of pain his voice. "Nobody will say what happened to Hayley and she's different... She used to be my best friend." He sighed. "Then she met the Pumpkin girl, and then she started going here and she really changed. I wanna be with you guys! My dad will never let me do that." Eugene said, really trying his best to flee the apartment.
- Covet: "You're not fucking useless!" She said yelling back at him,"It's not your responsibility to get him to listen to you, You're not his parent, just because you're older. All you can do is make sure he's safe." Her voice was coming down already at this point, "The fucking kid admire's you... The current you... I wouldn't say that's exactly a bad thing. I'm sorry if that's inconvenient for you." She turned to Eugene, "That being said, I get that you want to be different, but.. I'm telling you... Portland really isn't the place to do that. Like you've already said, People change here.. I don't think you really know what you are getting yourself into, just because you've been here the last few weeks."
- Tsaaq: Remy sighed, rubbing his hand down his face. "It's no inconvenience." He whispered before looking at Eugene. "And you have to go to school. And all that other shit?" // Eugene covered his eyes with his forearm as he tried not to sniffle much to no avail. "But Remy's more like my brother than my actual brother." He sobbed. "Even when he's a dick to me." He went over to the older male and wrapped his arms around his waist. "I don't care. I don't want to leave." He said to Cadence. "I'm not happy there."
- Covet: Cadence watched and gave a soft look, clearly starting to crumble when Eugene gave Remy a hug. "Rem...I... I have to be honest and say I don't know what to do here. Do I think it's a good idea... I don't know, There's some serious shit to consider, but I grew up in an independent fashion, and I want to respect your wishes from what we talked about before, but at the same time...If he's wanting to be here that bad, then he can't really be that happy where he's at."
- Tsaaq: He felt Eugene clucth onto him and rested his hand on the younger male's head. He pressed his lips against each other and looked over to Cadence. He found no words as he sighed once more. "Okay come on, first things first. Stop crying. It's okay. I know James and Grace are awful. I had to grow up with them too." He patted the younger male's back. "I guess... We could figure out a way for him to stay." He muttered. // Eugene was a babbling and snivelling mess while the two spoke. He gave a nod and attempted to calm himself.
- Covet: "I don't want to put you in a position that's going to stress you out more, if you don't think this is a good idea." She said looking at him. "I mean.. we already have everything else that's on our plates right now. But I'll go with whatever decision you want, and we'll make it work." She said looking at Eugene, with a worried look.
- Tsaaq: He shook his head slowly. "Sometimes... You gotta make sacrifices to help the people who need it." Remy said quiety. He kept patting Eugene's back. "Just get in there and go to sleep. We'll talk about this in the morning..." // Eugene nodded his head, his face wet but he was pulling away from the embrace and grabbing his suitcase to go towards the music room.
- Covet: Cadence watched Eugene walk off and bit the inside of her cheek, feeling for the poor kid, but also nervous about what all this was going to entail on their part. She walked over to Remy and wrapped her arms around him, trying to avoid the wetspot Eugene left. " Thank you, You didn't have to... but Thank you for letting him stay."
- Tsaaq: "Somebody has to be good to him." He replied as he wrapped his arms around Cadence. He kissed the top of her head. "I just have to buy time... And try to make arrangements or whatever. Figure shit out." He shrugged, not letting go of her.
- Covet: "Please don't hesitate to ask for help. You don't have to run the Berkoff-Ryken house for misfits by yourself." She told him looking up at him as she leaned into his body, "I'll be here tomorrow all day and can help him figure out stuff, if you need."
- Tsaaq: He pulled away a bit. "Don't you have class? I have some classes?" He asked with his eyebrows furrowed.
- Covet: Cadence bit her cheek avoiding looking at him for a second before she reluctantly met his look, "No... I didn't sign up for classes this semester. I still don't really feel like NWSU is the place for me, right now. I thought I might just take a break and keep working to help save up." She said speaking softly.
- Tsaaq: His eyebrows remained furrowed. "Oh." Remy whispered as he stared down at her. "But..." He trailed off. "Aren't you almost finished?" He asked her before shaking his head. "Nevermind. Don't worry about it." He kissed her forehead gently.
- Covet: "Sort of.. For a still undecided degree. I'm sorry if that throws a wrench into plans. I just.. don't know if school is the route to go for me. Especially where I don't really know what I want to do career wise." She said looking up at him, swallowing hard. "It's fine. I can just pick up in January, It'll only put me a semester behind."
- Tsaaq: "Um." Remy held his tongue and nodded his head. "Okay well..." He trailed off. "That's okay. Nothing wrong with trying to figure shit out." Remy shrugged his shoulders. He went to play with the strands of her raven hair. "As long as you're happy."
- Covet: "I'm figuring out how to be, yes. I've been pretty happy lately. Comparitively to how I started the summer off at least. "She said leaning over to kiss his hand. "Did I catch you up on what happened after the phone call I got last night in regards to Steph? You were kind of out of it when I was trying to explain.
- Tsaaq: He shook his head. "Yeah I have no idea what happened. So much was going on... What exactly was the phone call about anyways? Everything okay?"
- Covet: "So Friday, I went to the bar to hang out with Steph and Felix while you were at work. I guess Jade had bumped into Steph and spilled her drink on her, it was blantantly intentional. Then we notice that Jade desperately throwing herself at Eli like Money Mike's friday night special. So Steph wanted to get some revenge, so we went over to save Eli. There was a confrontation between the two of them, it got physical to the point where Steph was on top of Jade, just giving her punch after punch." She said then took a breath, "Last night the call was from Felix, saying he didn't have the money to bail Steph out of jail, because apparently they think she's enough of a threat to warrant a ten grand bail. So I went down and got her out of jail, provided she doesn't leave the country or the state between now and her court date, I'll get that money back. So please.. please please.. don't sweat that."
- Covet: *because apparently Jade pressed charges and they think.....
- Tsaaq: "Jesus." He said with his face scrunching up. "Oh Jesus Christ, Cadence!" His voice rose a little from hearing the price. "Okay..." He whispered. "I'm not worried." He repeated.
- Covet: "Yeah I know. I thought it was ridiculous too. But I guess they still have her down for an assault charge that was dropped, from when she beat the crap out of Kitty. It was enough of a coincidence that they figured she didn't need to be on the streets, and that nobody would pay that. I guess she was already near a panic attack about the posibility of staying the night at the precinct." Cadence said, "But it'll be back in my account soon."
- Tsaaq: "Okay." He said calmly. "Well... I have class tomorrow and... We've had a long night so how about... We go to bed?" He suggested. Remy was trying hard not to look like he was freaking out.
- Covet: "Yes, bed. You'll need sleep and I'm going to try to help Eugene get some stuff figured out tomorrow, so you don't have to worry about that too." She said leaning up to give him a kiss, before taking his hand, to lead him off to the bedroom to get him tucked in.
