  1. Recoil is determined by the total rise of your gun. More recoil means more upward kick. "Accumulative Spread" is affected on how accuracy diminishes when firing, but is not affected by Recoil.
  2.
  3. *Semi Auto Fire. Semi auto for most automatic weapons will reduce recoil to a third of the burst recoil multiplier. On default this is 85% total recoil. A third of this is 28.3% total recoil.
  4. That's 71.7% recoil reduction.
  5.
  6. *Crouching when hip firing reduces recoil by 35%. ADS removes this and uses the normal aiming recoil reduction.
  7.
  8. *Keep on the ground when firing. Recoil is doubled and forced downward with most automatic weapons, and and forced upward with others.
  9.
  10. *Match grade reduces recoil by 10%.
  11.
  12. *ADS for most CWC weapons increases recoil, but maximum inaccuracy is much smaller, giving much better accuracy that you have to compensate a little more for.
  13.
  14. *More powerful guns will typically have more recoil and more accumulative spread. Consider this for automatic weapons for they will be harder to control.
  15.
  16. Knowing these tips can give you a serious advantage to your aiming and provide more beneficial methods that you can adjust to or work for.
