subgoals - march 12th, 2020

if you ever watch me you know this is entirely against the kind of person i am. i hate even proposing the idea of selling out or doing anything to try to persuade people into donating or subbing unless its directly their own desire to support me, but currently i need to look out for myself and make sure i will be financially okay.

with the pandemic currently running through new york city, my job stability is very up in the air right now. its quite likely i either get sick and am going to be out of work for multiple weeks, or its possible my store could close altogether until further notice. the idea that i would have no income because of this is terrifying for someone who needs to pay rent, bills, and food without any real aide from my family.

i have enough to get through the lease in the worst case scenario (~6months left until i move back home) but i would not want to be spending all of my savings on rent and end up moving back home with no money at all. so i'm gonna start selling out a little and encouraging more subs donations and all that via incentives that i want to meet:

50 subs and i will learn and do runs of thirdperson hl1
75 subs and i will learn and do runs of jumpless hl1
100 subs i will do a run on a controller of some kind
150 subs i will do a run of hl1 "ludicrous speed%" (negative friction as well as acceleration and speed caps removed)
250 subs i will learn and do runs of hl1 scriptless with savewarp (i doubt this will be met)

if somehow i reach the 250 goal i may think of more incentives to work towards for this. i only intend on doing this for as long as COVID-19 threatens my job security, so thank you for bearing with me and thank you for the support in general.
