- >Niffty's awoken by the loud, shrill ringing of the alarm clock
- >immediately sits up in bed, dressed in a Victorian-era nightgown
- >"Welp, time for a good day's work!"
- >jump-cut montage of her having a shower, getting dressed, and having breakfast in the staff's communal dining room
- >it's proper, full English breakfast, beans and all
- >head to hotel lobby to meet with the others
- >Ms. Charlie's there, along with Ms. Vaggie (that woman who always seems to follow her around. A bodyguard, perhaps? She's certainly defensive of her), Angel Dust (who's apparently a man???), Master Alastor (squee!), Mr. Husker (who isn't completely hammered for a change), and some of the anons
- >OHGOSHWHATIFVIRGINANON'SHEREICAN'TWAITTOSEEHIMICANALMOSTSMELLHISDELICIOUSVIRGINALAMBROSI--
- "Oh, good morning, Niffty!"
- >"Good morning, Ms. Charlie! Ms. Vaggie!"
- "Morning, Niffty."
- >"Mr. Angel Dust?"
- "Mornin', Toots."
- >While Angel and Vaggie were busy getting into a slapfight (which was rapidly evolving into a fistfight), Niffty stepped up to her boss

- >"Got it, boss!"
- >She liked working with those two. Sure, they're no Virginanon (nothing compares to him, nothingnothingNOTHING--), but they're still good friends
- >she especially liked electricanon
- >he had the same amount of energy as she did
- >perhaps, a little more

- >lightninganon was waiting for her in room 201
- >"Good morning, anon! Ready for another busy day?"
- "zzZZGoodmorningNiffty! YouBETIam!"
- >"Great! Then let's get started!"
- >they had a good system for this
- >lightninganon would stand, err, float to the center of the room, and begin charging up
- >soon, every last speck of dust that wasn't outright stuck to a surface would fly towards him, pulled on by the static charge
- >all Niffty would have to do is sweep it off of him
- >he still had to balance the voltage and amperage rather carefully, because nobody likes the smell of burning dust
- >they worked fairly quickly, with Niffty swiping him (and then, the room's more stubborn splodges) clean, and then moved onto the next room
- >soon enough, they would hear the telltale thumping of longarmsanon's footfalls from a room behind them, as he gave the rooms lights and outlets a once-over
- >occasionally, if either of them spotted something off about the equipment, they would leave a stickynote for longarms to find, so that he could fix the actual problems at hand, rather than just going about checking light switches and molesting the "wall piglets" with his multimeter
- >before long, the trio reach the final room of the level, number 222
- >Niffty is dusting the bottom of a wardrobe, while longarmsanon is tightening the bolts on some shelves
- >finishing with the well-decorated bottom, the cyclopean little demon reached upward with her feather duster...
- >...while the piece of furniture still towered over her
- >Without a word, longarms lowered a free hand, easily lifting a still-standing Niffty to the top of the wardrobe, allowing her to clean it
- >there was buzz, that started to fill the room, the lights fading and relighting again and again, before glowing all to bright, the room's main lamp popping with a loud CRACK
- >electricanon popped in, quite literally, hanging upside down like a sparkling droplet of water
- "Andwiththiswe'redone!"

- "We would be..."
- >longarmsanon squatted down, and began rifling trough his bag
- "If you had used the sockets to traverse, like we agreed."
- >With a sheepish grin, lightninganon retreated into the broken filament, reappearing from an empty wall socket, milliseconds later
- >from her perspective, Niffty could see the crouching form of longarms, his titular appendages buried elbow deep in the shoddy metallic box, before extracting a tiny lightbulb . far smaller than what would belong in lamp
- >however, longarms merely reaches up, the distant lamp instead appearing as a comically small, but close one
- >unscrewing the broken bulb, and replacing it with the new one without standing up straight, he soon finishes
- >standing up, he towers above the tiny Niffty, whom he now lifts up like a toddler, holding her close to his chest while he flips the switch to see if the new bulb works
- >no longer viewing him from a worms eye view, the lamp appears to be normal sized
- >his toolbox, however, now lays on the floor, far far down
- >anon reaches for it and...
- >lifts up a much tinier box, pocketing it
- >though she had seen this many times before, the little cyclops is at awe
- "A little perspective-fucklery to start your day?"
- >longarms chuckles, and puts her down again
- "Well, I'm off to ask Charlie for another job. You two'll be fine here, right?"
- >without waiting for an answer, he turns around, and lumbers out of the room
- >Niffty and anon exchanged glances
- "zzZZZooo... Whatdovedonow?"
- >the little demon pondered for a moment
- >the excess free time wasn't unusual, given how little traffic the hotel had as of yet
- >but how to spend it? Eh.
- >Husk boozed around
- >Angel went out to look for "clientele" or to fight off Sir Pentious with Cherri, as the snake made his weekly attempt at laying siege to the Hotel in order to extract both Cherri and Alastor
- >Charlie and Vaggie... Did stuff that apparently made Vaggie much more relaxed, upbeat and chipper
- >but what about her?
