I actually had a marathon idea.

Well basically it would either once or twice a year depending on how people are willing to participate in it.

As you may know a lot of marathon happens BEFORE (that one word is important) either AGDQ or SGDQ mainly to get the money to being able to attend it. Especially for europeans. But the money is not the point i want to make here.

As you may know some streamers, like SpikeVegeta and Friends (yeah i'm sorry but only him came to my mind at 3 am :D), do recaps/reviews of those marathons and only a few of them may actually get their word in (it's still very cool streams that i watch nearly every time though).

So here's what i'm thinking about doing if i can actually make it happen.

It would be around a month after either AGDQ or SGDQ has happened and it would let the people who went there give their thoughts on their journey as well as how well went their while actually doing that said run.
Obviously it would be close to impossible for me to handle such a lengthy marathon so if in the worst/best case scenario everyone want to do it ... well either i would need a team or just cut people off (which wouldn't be nice to be honest). I'm say "I" but i'm just throwing that idea around. I don't have to be the one to make it happen.

So why something like that would be cool ?

It's a good way to center all opinions/reviews/feelings about AGDQ or SGDQ.
It let's people get the chance to see a run they may have missed (i know there is the vod but live and vod are never the same).
People might be a bit more open.
The month between a/sgdq and that said marathon let them think about it so they are not in the hype train anymore.
Would be an awesome way to improve agdq or sgdq and would probably have more impact than just forum posting.

This marathon would be on a total different channel without any donation button because it would be making money on agdq/sgdq back (and at the same time the cancer and médecin sans frontière).
Hosted by multiple person and with the agreement of the GamesDoneQuick staff (obviously).

I don't have to be and probably don't want to be the one creating that marathon.
It's just an idea i'm throwing out of the window and if someone catch it and loves it then go for it.
