- Hey guys,
- So, this is going to be a little sappy, but I'll do my best to be brief. On November 16th, 2014, I and my family lost my grandmother, a woman who's impact on my life cannot be understated. She was there for me when I was a young child growing up after some tumultuous events and always had an uncanny ability to make me smile even on days where I wanted nothing to do with anyone. She fled from Germany in the 1940s for obvious reasons and worked two jobs to put her three daughters (my mother and two aunts) through school, work, or whatever faced them. She helped my give my mom the life she has, and in turn the life I have as well as the rest of my siblings.
- I just want to take a second to thank all of you for being who you are. Throughout my 3+ years on Twitch, my attendance at the past three (and next) AGDQs, and streaming, I've met so many of you guys that have helped change my life in so many positive ways. Each of you brings me something new to talk about, think about, and laugh about. I'm just a guy on the internet that plays games, and without meeting all of you I would be missing so much of what I love about my life. The kindness of your donations to me have allowed me to get back off the ground when nearly everything I had to my name was stolen from me while in Italy. You've helped me raise money for friends in need, and given me the ability to give back to other people, too.
- I just want to say thank you. For everything. And for whatever may come next. In the two years after losing my grandmother, I've attained such a wonderful perspective on life in general. I value the time I spend with everyone, including my friends from twitch, because I never know how much longer we all might have. But just being around you all has made my life that much brighter and better, and I hope I can do the same for you. I can't express how much I appreciate you all. Thank you for being my friends, and for giving me so much love and generosity.
