- Video Game Slang and Acronyms
- + AFK: Away From Keyboard - A player who is not active in the game
- + BUFF: When a character powers are increased, typically in an update
- + CAMPING: Roving in the game without carrying out any real moves
- + DC: Disconnect - A player has been disconnected (bad internet usually)
- + DPS: Damage Per Second
- + FLAGGED: Your character is no longer safe
- + GG: Good Game - When a player believes the match they just played was challenging but enjoyable
- + GR: Good Round
- + GTG: Good To Go. All set. Ready.
- + HF: Have Fun (GLHF: Good Luck Have Fun; GBHF: God Bless Have Fun)
- + HP: Health Points
- + KS: Kill Steal - Killing a player and all the points after a team mate has already done most of the damage
- + Leeroy Jenkins - Rambo on the battlefield. Shooting all your bullets in the hope you might hit something.
- + MIA or SS: A player on the opposing team disappeared. Missing in Action or SS being short for miss.
- + MOB: Monster or Beast. Must be slain to progress.
- + NERF: When a character has it's powers reduced, typically in an update
- + N00B: A new player who can't play games or this particular game.
- + NPC: Non Player Character
- + NP: No Problem
- + OP: Over Powered Character (unfairly more powerful than other characters in a game)
- + PWN: Domination. Used to describe a team being dominated/out-classed by another team. Team B just got pwnd.
- + RE: Reappear. When a missing player shows up again.
- + REZ: Resurrection. Player needs to be saved by a fellow team mate.
- + SCRUB: A player that doesn't have the skills but believes they are the best player in the World.
- + SMURF: When an experienced player creates a new account to disguise themselves as new players and use their skills to defeat inexperienced players with ease.
- + SPAMMING: Continously pulling the trigger to either discourage an enemy from an area or because you can't play the game so you just Rambo it.
- + WP: Well Played
- + XP: Experience Points
