- Eo Naxx Steel:
- -HP 120
- -Vanish
- -Improved Master of Arms; weapon always counts as two types, which can be changed [usually Dual/Great]
- -Knight's Challenge; instant/automatic: Eo Naxx Steel can declare a Challenge against any one enemy. He gains DR 5 against all enemies except the target of his Challenge.
- -Hero of Justice: Enemy rolls suffer -1 next turn [-2 on crit, +1 on critfail]
- -Hero's Banner; instant/automatic recharge 3: Negates all status effects [except Helpless] currently effecting Eo Naxx Steel.
- -Heroes Never Die; passive: Regain 1 Hit per hour. This effect applies even after death, reviving Steel one hour after his demise. Attempts to destroy his body fail.
- -Pegasus Flight
- Attack Pattern:
- [1d10+3] Crits 9+ Critfails 2-
- [1d10+3] Crits 9+ Critfails 2-
- >Can Vanish to make the first Autocrit
- >Can Cleave at his discretion
- Notes:
- -For balancing purposes, the Staff never attacks, instead spams Hero of Justice every turn.
- -Knight's Challenge should be used on the strongest damage dealer present/his primary target, even if mechanically he would benefit more from targetting a weaker foe.
- -Vanish only grants critical to the first attack in a dual attack.
- -Hero's Banner would remove shrinking, the debuff from Nero's sword, etc.
- -Nero's sword effects the Staff also.
- -Looks like the Judge of Wings
- Post-Modern Empire:
- -Per Onyxia's notes, the Crystal Empire is slightly larger then in Modern, and more multi-ethnic due to Equestrian immigration [possibly to multicultural-free-of-hate levels].
- -Cadence's rule has led to a long period of modernization [Nero would say degeneration], making it far more Equestrian in culture, outlook, and clothing. However most Crystal Ponies still give at least lip service to the Imperial Pantheon, including Nero.
- -The Ziggurat remains, as does the priesthood and sacrifices to the gods on select occasions. To most modern Crystal Ponies, being culturally Equestrian, the values of the old gods are lacking or 'for another time' and their religion has been reduced to a formality.
- -There is a significant minority [10% of the Empire's population] who remains Imperial in culture. They wear robes and sandals, have Imperial values, and still view Nero as their King. They are very dissatisfied with the modernizing direction Cadence is taking the Empire, believe the story of Nero's time travelling completely [He did not abandon them] and are fond of mocking more modern Crystals by claiming that this world/timeline/etc won't even exist when Nero has defeated Eon. If possible, one of Cadence's children should be highly sympathetic to this minority.
- -There is a small Ug Corp presence in the Empire, but nothing like in Manehatten or other major cities, where presumably giant Ug Towers and the like are.
- -Technology is on average higher, with a few instances of MUCH higher technology. It is known that Nero is responsible for this, a common thing brought up by Imperials when other Crystals claim them backwards.
- -Despite the clear Islamic parralel, it should be remembered the Imperials are Babylonian not Muslim, and should not be depicted as terrorists, merely as an 'ideologically radical' minority.
- -Lastly, in regards Changlings, Onyxia's laws should take precedence over Nero's laws, but should be understood as Cadence or Armor tightening the law. In other words, Nero gave the Changlings more civil rights then His successors. Hematitus may or may not have thoughts on this fact.
- Views on Nero in Post-Modern:
- -The average Crystal Pony is ambivalent. He was a King who showed up, saved the Empire from the Sons of Sombra, made a lot of promises, then disappeared leaving a wave of high tech and apocalyptic warnings in His wake.
- -On the 'political extremes' you have people who view Nero as a traitor who abandoned His people to fight monsters [unless that was a myth too], an outdated violent relic much like Imperial faction, and lastly those who view Him much like His own people in Empire Era view Him, only with the extra aspect of despising Post-Modern society as vulgar, weak, and barbarian.
- Notes:
- -Most of his technologies for detecting and fighting Changlings I have no issue with, 'love defibraillators' I might actually have something in my lore that matches it, an Imperial mineral with similiar properties.
- -Scanning Towers [or Traintracks], restraints, and gas masks are all fine.
- -His Improved Shapeshifting is fine, but should be more limited to Elites, it makes little sense the entire race would evolve unless there's a good fluff reason for this]. Their feeding on different emotions is difficult to mesh with the lore [since only Love is an actual form of energy, so what they'd actually be doing is feeding on the energy through a different means] but is also okay.
- -I want hard mechanics on Advanced Pheremone Control vs regular Pheremon Control and the differences between them, and I want it clear from the onset it doesn't work on Nero. Even if it wasn't mind control, Nero's immunity is against Compulsions [which is why Southern's strings don't control Him either], and if these are biological in origin it's double negated [but he doesn't even need that immunity to do so].
- -I also want hard mechanics on Advanced Glop, the idea of it being completely unbreakable and unmagicable is stupid.
