  1. Hey everyone,
  2.
  3. as you may or may not know, the leadership of this guild has decided to take raiding a little more seriously in the upcoming expansion. We're looking at raiding 3 days a week progression in BfA,
  4. and upping our standards to clear CEs efficiently. This means that we will be recruiting a few strong players for our main team that will improve our efficiency drastically.
  5. What this means for some is that they won't be in our main raid team, but anyone is able to fight for their spot. As far as attitude towards raiding goes, having a larger roster will
  6. enable us to punish people coming late to raids, not turning up to raids and people coming in just to wipe to the same mechanic over and over again. We're not changing our attitude
  7. in terms of atmosphere in any way, but there will be changes for the better in terms of people not feeling like they've wasted a 3 hour raid night, aka people coming to raid whilst
  8. completely unfocused or not paying any attention, which is something we saw plenty of during the tier [Kingaroth ;)].
  9.
  10. As far as this tier goes, our overall skill level in terms of mechanics and in some cases output has been very worrying. Bosses like Kingaroth, Vari and Coven should not take no where near as long as they did and that does
  11. reflect on people and this guild. In fact, the sole reason to why we didn't get CE this tier has been those 3 bosses, not the fact we missed a lot of raiding this tier. There will be a huge emphasis on personal loot and personal
  12. upkeep of characters, so it will be required you do the most you can to keep your raiding character(s) up to scratch by doing mythic+ and other things. Amongst everything else, one thing I want to adress is people coming back to
  13. the game/us after being inactive for months. Your spot is not guaranteed at all as we have most likely replaced you to even have a chance at continuing to raid. If you're willing to stay around and be available when needed, you
  14. have a chance as anyone else to make it back into the roster, however if you are not interested with starting on the bench it is understandable.
  15.
  16. If some of you are not liking the direction we are going in or the decisions we're making, feel free to let me know if you want to leave. I am always open to giving people time to improve and learn,
  17. and I don't mind people sticking around to do m+, socialise and fight for their raid spot, however there is nothing more that I hate than people turning up to raids without the intention
  18. to better themselves, being prepared by watching videos or studying their class if there are clear windows of opportunity to improve, so if your attitude to raiding with us is anything less than what we expect,
  19. please reconsider wasting ours and ultimately your time.
