  39.
  40.
  41.
  42. Yes i do.
  43.
  44. 8. Why should we accept you onto the staff team? What makes you different from other applicants?
  45.
  46.
  47. I think I should become a staff member because I enjoy playing on SpaceMC and would like to help the server in any way. This helper position would be beneficial to me as I would like to acquire responsibilities on the server or forum and to help the SpaceMC community with any queries.
  48.
  49.
  50.
  51. I am currently volunteering at an aged care home, which I think would help me if I were to get this position as I do have experience helping other people. What I do at the aged care home is socialize with the elderly residents and play games with them, help them in my time spent there every week.
  52.
  53.
  54.
  55. I have the confidence and communication skills to take part in this position and am aware of the various responsibilities that comes with being a helper. Although I may come out as a bit strong that is because I stand up for what I believe is right and not what is wrong. I have integrity and honesty, grant that I may make mistakes along the way, I am human after all. If there is a problem with a certain player I will make sure to see it from there point of view instead of giving my opinion straight away on how I think this person should handle their issue.
  56.
  57.
  58.
  59. If I am not online in-game, then I would most likely be on the forums. I am on the forums for most of the day, I check it once everyone thirty minutes, I think that is good because I can reply to those that need help ASAP. I should become helper because i am on 7-11 hours a day and if i am not online. i no doubt will be on the forums.
  60.
  61.
  62. 9. What would you do to benefit our server and it's community to make it better than it is?
  63.
  64.
  65.
  66. Help out in the community, Share my opinion on the server, Put all of my time and effort into the server and make sure everything is running OK and no one is spamming or hacking or doing things that they should not be doing :)
  67.
  68. 10. How will you being staff make a positive impact on the server?
  69.
  70.
  71.
  72. Well, I love to help out and make the server a better and positive place to play and have fun. I am very active and will try my best to do everything that i can to benefit the server.
  73.
  74. 11. How many hours could you put contribute to the server per week.
  75.
  76.
  77.
  78. Well, I have school during the week but i still can hopefully put in 7-8 hours per day and on the weekends 11 hours. And when i am not online i will be on the forums most of the time.
  79.
  80. 12. Have you ever been banned on our server?
  81.
  82.
  83.
  84. No, i have not
  85.
  86. 13. Do you have any past staff experience within the Minecraft community? If so, please explain in detail your position, the time frame you held this position and any proof that you may have to verify your past experience.
  87.
  88.
  89.
  90. Of course. If any proof is necessary, please go ahead and PM me and I will try my best to find evidence that I was staff. I've also went under the username "Hypexx" which is the IGN I've used on the majority of servers I've staffed on. To make your lives easier, I've organized everything. Also the reason i am not using the account Hypexx is because i can not remember the log in details as i took a long break from the community.

  94. PvpWars
  95. I was staff on PvPWars when it first released. At that time, there were around 2000 constant active players. Due to the fact that I was a Global helper, I covered all realms nearly 8 hours a day. At its time, it was the biggest of its kind due to its youtubers, LandonMc and WildX. PvPWars was the first time I was hammered with work, to the point where it was overwhelming. I wasn't able to play the game at all on my home realm because I was constantly called to cover for other realms. Eventually, this lead to my resignation.

  99. Skybounds
  100.
  101. By far, this was the server I gained the most experience on. Last summer, I was promoted to Moderator on Skybounds. At that time, it averaged a constant 1.8k players due to the fact that it was played by CaptainSparkles and owned by BajanCanadian. I was completely indulged in the community and know their whole staff and management team inside out. The structure of the staff team was the most organized out of any server I've staffed before by far. Admins were on top of everything, and we were required to report to them weekly on how the community was doing and what they wanted in terms of gameplay, etc. We also had votes in changing punishments and rules, which allowed us to truly immerse ourselves into the community. I was staff for three months before I resigned due to the fact that Junior Year began and that was the most stressful year by far.

  105. AliaCraft
  106.
  107. Aliacraft was one of the most OG prison servers but had other game modes to, ever. It averaged around 600 constant players and many OG prison players should know this. I was promoted to Admin on there three years ago, and there's not much to say on it because I don't remember much, I just remember that this was my introduction to Prison.
  108.
  109.
  110.
  111. Lemoncloud
  112.
  113. Additionally, I was staff (Moderator) on the LemonCloud community. I've stayed with them for 8 months. If you're not familiar with it, back in 2017, it was one of the biggest running hub servers. It averaged around 1.5k players constantly and now holds around 300 players. I started as a helper and was promoted to Moderator in a short two months. All in all, I've handed out about about 100 pages of punishments. I rarely make mistakes, and when I do, I quickly apologize and fix the problem immediately. This was one of the top contributors to teaching me how to deal with

  116.
  117. McBrawl
  118.
  119. Furthermore, if you've heard of the Mcpvp Servers, which is now known as the McBrawl Community, I was a moderator on there. I staffed for a year on there and resigned due to the fact that the server was in a decline and management clearly didn't care, but I'm thoroughly surprised that it is still up and running with around 500 players daily. It had around three thousand players when I was Moderator and I can provide proof that I was indeed a moderator via their forums. Being a staff member was not easy as it required a high demand of assistance due to their unique game mode. Many players are confused at first, but once they get used to it, it it's a good feeling knowing that you taught the player how to get their feet on the ground.

  123. Skytropia
  124.
  125. Foremost, I'm the founder of Skytropia. No, this server wasn't nearly as popular as Minesaga, but we did hit a respectable amount of constant players. We've had many notable youtubers record ranging from Skeppy to Suchspeed, to even SeePeeKay. I think just that should show the amount of dedication and hard work I strive for. Everything was perfectly organized. From website developers, to designers, to developers and system admins, everything was great. Our server was custom coded from the ground up, and even the core was completely coded from scratch. (Yes, from scratch, not a fork) Just this should show the amount of passion and money that was invested into the server, which should also show that I'm capable of managing a diversification of scenarios. Of course, this just shows ownership experience, but with that, I feel that it's important to show ownership experience to set an example to the community that the staff team keeps utmost professionalism in any and all types of situation.

  129. Conclusion
  130.
  131. In a nutshell, I have quite a bit of experience due to these servers as they have a high player base and a high demand for assistance. These are just notable servers that I have staffed on. There are many more smaller servers that I have staffed on but aren't worth noting. Over the past few years, I've learned more and more through new experiences with different servers. Although I have pretty much been in almost all possible situations as a staff member, I would love to see what I can learn with SpaceMC.
  132.

  134.
  135. Why do you want to become a staff member?
  136.
  137. There are many reasons I'd like to become a staff member here on SpaceMC. Let me organize and list them out for you in Q&A format.
  138.
  139.
  140.
  141. Why would I want to be staff
  142.
  143. I personally want to become staff not to hold myself above others, but help the new players that would become a potential active member, or next staff member. Staff set an example for the community, and must be professional and are held at high standards. Whether or not one is a helper, moderator, or part of the administrator team, these positions are all part of the staff team. If one staff member acts out, it'll taint not only the reputation of the staff team, but potentially the community itself too. Ultimately, becoming staff would allow me to further invest in my own experiences and hopefully learn something different.
  144.
  145.
  146.
  147. How do you know I'll stay motivated?
  148.
  149. This is a question I always ask myself over and over. I ask myself, "How am I not getting bored"? The answer always comes back to the same answer: Community. A server wouldn't be enjoyable without a community. The players that play on it make me motivated and want to play. I also believe that a staff team is the most enjoyable when friendships are sparked. I personally am always open to friendships and am a very outgoing person. Should anyone approach me, my first instinct is friendliness. I understand that being a staff member is not something to take granted, but a privilege. Every memory I make while on this server will help me with the approaching future. Undeniably, Skyblock does get repetitive over time, but I always explore different ways to spice things up through interacting with fellow players.

  152.
  153. Why am I distinctive over any other applicant?
  154.
  155. The big question. "Why am I unique? Why should you select me? Why...?" It all comes back to the one answer: Experience
  156. To begin explaining why I am unique over any other applicant here on SpaceMC, let's start with the question, "Do I understand that being a helper is not easy?" I fully understand that being staff is very challenging and may be stressful at times. Since I've had past moderation, I can handle the pressure, and will try to the best of my ability to be professional, which brings me to the next point. "Why would I be a good fit for the server"? I can bring utmost professionalism to the staff team. Of course, I am also human, and will try to the best of my ability to handle problems/disputes professionally, calmly, and quickly. As a bonus to why I would fit in, I have spent alot of time on SpaceMC. (Of course this doesn't mean anything hence why I said it's a bonus) If this doesn't show dedication to the network, I'm not sure what would. Additionally, due to my humorous personality, I can lighten up the mood if necessary, and have tons of experience to backup my moderation (4 years of moderation and around 6 total years of Minecraft Experience). Additionally, due to the fact that I have experienced many scenarios with loopholes in the rules, I have carefully studied both the server and forum rules. In the rare case that I am uncertain in a scenario, the first thing I would do is search and consult upper staff members. If I am unable to assist anyone, I would contact a higher staff member and let them know to deal with the situation. There's minimal room for mistakes and I'll rarely risk that. I understand that the staff team reflects the image of the network and professionalism is the one thing that keeps a server enjoyable. I am a person that thinks before they act. I would never act rationally or unethically.

  160. 14. Do you have any experience playing the Skyblock gamemode? If so, could you give us a brief summary of how long you have been playing the gamemode for and possibly some of your achievements.
  161.
  162.
  163.
  164. Yes i do, I used to play skyblock competitive and have been staff on other skyblock servers.
  165.
  166. 15. All of our staff members are required to have 2FA enabled on their discord and minecraft accounts (on our server). Are you able to do this? (Requires an authentication app such as Authy or Google Authenticator).
