Detective Kiki #1

>"You see, Kiki, she wasn't trying to rape him. She just wanted to give him a subpoena because he's involved with the shipping company. Isn't that right, Ms. Waxtroth?" said Shoggy optimistically. The Giant Bee with the form fitting suit that showed off her mature curves and figure nodded at the two meido girls, both still huddled around their bound and gagged Master.

>"Yes, it's true girls. I didn't mean to give you the impression that I wanted your ahem 'Master' to rape him. This has just been a series of quirky misunderstandings. Here's the subpoena, take a look yourselves." said the Bee, and with those words, she held out a thin set of papers. The slight purple girl huddled around the boy looked askance at the little Kiki in worry. After a moment, the other meido nodded at her fellow, who then extended a purple tentacle to take the offered set of papers.

>Kiki took the papers from Shoggy's extended tentacle and looked through the paperwork. The little meido sighed before speaking,"This does all seem to be in order." The other meido visibly brightened, happy to be set at ease. Kiki cleared her throat to forestall Shoggy's inevitable cheer at things being a series of misunderstandings. Shoggy and Master were too trusting.

>Kiki continued speaking, cutting off the celebratory mood before it could happen in earnest. "Still, none of this explains the kilo of cocaine we found in your office's wall safe while investigating you, does it Ms. Waxtroth? The Cartel was very interested in our description of you." The Bee visibly paled at her words, her smile freezing in discomfort. A broad shouldered figure stepped into the doorway, casting a shadow on Ms. Waxtroth.

>"Remember when I asked to speak to Mr. Tarrega privately about the oil painting on the wall?" said Kiki. Master and Shoggy gave startled sounds of recollection and nods at that portion of their long and interesting adventure.

>On turning to see who cast the shadow, the Bee had collapsed to her knees, sobbing near silently. Kiki looked upwards at the face of the large Oni in the ill fitting suit. "I'm a sure Mr. Tarrega will recall this favor that our Master has done for him out of friendship." She gave her fellow meido a nudge with her elbow, Master couldn't speak around the gag, so it was their duty to speak for him.

>Shoggy gave a little sloshing jostle before catching on "Oh. Yes, we are pleased to show our thanks and appreciation for Mr. Tarrega's hospitality. Please remember to extend our thanks to him on Master's behalf."

>The stony faced Oni nodded as she easily carried the still sobbing Bee away. Shoggy was untying Master's gag. Both looked at Kiki with renewed appreciation, she could feel herself blushing in embarrassment. The two shared a look before Master gave the other meido an obvious wink.

>Encouraged, Shoggy spoke "It's a good thing Kiki knows so much about 13th Century Oil Paintings. I guess the saying is true, art's well that ends well, right Master?"

>The human spoke up "That's right, Shoggy. If she didn't notice the forgery, we never would have cracked the safe."

>The two sidled up to her as they continued their awful puns. She never had the heart to stop them when they got like this. So Kiki sat with them in that sprawling comfortable little bundle they often made, finally able to relax after the adventure. Kiki's lips quirked as the touching became more intimate by shades, and the puns worse by bounds.

>Finally it reached a point where Kiki had to put her on mark on the matter before everyone's mouth was otherwise occupied. "Life will certainly be more interesting," she said "but we always knew Master was destined to be a Maid Man."
