June Fun D raising for SGDQ 2017

I need some extra help to make it through SGDQ financially, but so do my local friends.  I had a good month of May and am extremely appreciative of everyone's support, but I won't get paid the bits and subscriber money from twitch until mid July.

For the entirety of June I'm gonna be fundraising for myself, but I'm also going to be hosting on my channel a marathon during the weekend of June 16-18, so you may want to hold out for that.  There will be many separate awesome prizes specifically for this event, most to be announced later.  For my part I am at least offering up to this event the game saver (a device that allows you to save state on console) that I learned to speedrun super metroid on!  I'll put some more preview info about this event at the bottom of this paste.

There is no donation goal, as once I feel comfortable with my ability to make and enjoy sgdq without worry I will start re-donating to my local friends, and I doubt the money raised will exceed these needs.  If it somehow gets crazy I will re-donate to trogdor or other non-local speedrunners to get to GDQ.

For my own solo efforts I'm going to be offering a historic SM cart, a controller I used to speedrun with, and some games from my collection (you get to pick them) to the top three donors, as well as some bonus content to all three.

Some interesting facts about this Super Metroid cart...
1.  I set my 100th SM WR on it (my 1:15:20 100% run)
2.  All my recent RBO runs were completed on it, including the current and animal saving 1:03:37 RBO WR.
3.  The first sub 51 low% was done with this cart.
4.  I will be using this cart to race low% ice at SGDQ this year (it will not be sent out until after GDQ)
5.  It was used at the very least to practice for my SGDQ 2014 low% ice solo run, if not for the run itself (I have a label on it where I wrote "low% ice").  It may have been used for other WRs of mine, but I cannot confirm this.

It should be noted that it is a Japanese cart, although it's extremely easy to modify an american SNES to play it.

The upcoming marathon is tenatively titled "KarenKon Fun D raiser".  The involved parties will be :
1. Me, zoaty
2. somewes, who has a 4:56 in SMB1, one frame behind darbian, and might well be your next SMB1 WR holder.  He will also be physically hosting the event at his house seeing as he has much more space than me.
3. overfiendVIP, who is the WR holder in super metroid for low% speed and GT code any%, master curator for the SM wiki, and also will be racing me and oats at SGDQ 2017.
4. just_defend, general god gamer at many many games and the WR holder for CV4 hard mode.  He will also be running castlevania rondo of blood and SMB2 USA at SGDQ 2017.
5. doodooheadjones, a dear friend of ours who has provided much moral support to me at the last two GDQs, traveling to AGDQ 2017 under significant adversity.
