Xomac Tepin - The destruction of Marenhold (2/17)

[22:45:42] Hatsune Panic says, "Are you..."
[22:45:42] Xomac Tepin says, "Hats. -bloodthirst and anger detected-"
[22:45:42] Hatsune Panic asks, "Looking for random Valmaese wandering around...?"
[22:45:42] Xomac Tepin says, "Yes."
[22:45:42] Hatsune Panic says, "... So am I."
[22:46:33] Xomac Tepin asks, "Together?"
[22:46:33] Hatsune Panic asks, "Sure. Where did you wish to go?"
[22:46:33] Hatsune Panic says, "We could start tearing down that watch tower on the border."
[22:46:33] Xomac Tepin says, "I. Don't. Know. Where. They. Gather. Good. Idea."
[22:48:16] Hatsune Panic says, "Uwa... I will destroy it. If someone wanders by, you can handle them unless they are in large numbers."
[22:48:16] Xomac Tepin says, "Agreed."

[22:51:40] Hatsune stands before the stone building- Foundations deeply set in the ground and steep walls held firm against the wind and rain...

So...

Obviously more wind and rain were needed. The mermaid throws her ball of water up into the air with a thought before forcing it to erupt in torrential downpour. Wind begins to throw itself against the side of the tower in great, powerful gales. Ice collects upon the roof of the tower, weighing it down and forcing the stonework to buckle. Water that worked its way into the stones themselves began to ripple and knock around, loosening it all...

Time consuming...

"Uwa... At least if no one comes around, we'll still accomplish something. Oyaotl is missing, I take it?"

[22:55:05] Xomac stands by the treeline, doing his best to blend in with the leaves. The Atl hunter seems relaxed, almost in his element as he waits, listening to the rain, the wind, sound.. The lance on his back is produced though for once.. He does not summon forth the golden aura around him.

The single silver hue looks towards Hatsune as she speaks. "THEY. TOOK. MY. OYA." The voice is not the kind one the Atl Chieftain, normally has, no it has a bloody tinge to it, a man filled with anger, ravenous hate. "QUINTEN. TOOK. MY. OYA.

WHEN. THEY. COME. I. WILL. FIGHT. THEM.

WE. JUST. NEED. TO. WAIT." There is a grinding of his teeth in rage.

"THEY. WILL. NOT. FUCK. WITH. MY. WORLD."

[23:06:11] Hatsune listened to the unkempt hatred and anger. She did not flinch or shy away from it, nor did her face betray any emotion she might have held. She just watched her handiwork upon the tower and seemed to contemplate before speaking.

"Yes, this is the dangerous facet of human love and devotion," she says, "Do not act recklessly, Xomac Tepin. If there is anyone that might shy themselves from the inner walls of the Valmaese stronghold, it would be Oyaotl. If we could capture a prisoner of importance then we might be able to secure her release, truly, but the moment a bloody warpath is struck then she will be slain."

"We need to make sure she has time so that she does not become a casualty of this war if she is not yet one. If such does happen, then I will have no right to advise you against anger and destruction, but until then I will fight you if you attempt to act recklessly in a way that would endanger her in such a dangerous spot."

[23:07:02] Hatsune Panic says, "Uwa. Do you wish to go consort within the trees to the north? I can keep this magic going from a great distance, but it would be best if we saw the Valmaese before they saw us."
[23:07:02] Hatsune Panic says, "We are somewhat exposed here."

[23:11:18] Out of the shadows, Xomac moves across the path closer to the treeline to the north as asked. The single silver hue in his head looks every forwards, whapping around like a predator with rabbies looking for prey. Yet when Hatsune speaks his gaze becomes directed towards her instead.

"I. love. her. She. is. mine. and. only. mine. AND. THEY. TOOK. HER." His body is shivering, akin to the week after Oyaotl had marked him, obsession having shaken to his very core. "I. WILL. CAPTURE. THEM. ALL. They. will. free. her. OR. I. WILL. EAT. HUNDREDS. OF. THEIR. HEARTS." hands grip at the side of his head, holding his white hair.

"They will not fuck with Xomac Tepin. THEY WILL NOT FUCK WITH XOMAC TEPIN.

She will not be a casualty. This is my world. THIS. IS. MY. WORLD."

[23:15:34] Hatsune watched Xomac whip his eyes around to her, and her finned ears rattled slightly before fanning out wide. His speech went over without any interruption, but just as he was coming to an end-

Shi, her water spirit koi fish, began to swim around her... Then was joined by another... Numerous- Nearly a dozen smaller koi begin to swim around the mermaid, wreathed in golden and silver lights. Unlike the larger, frosty spirit, the smaller ones did not have physical substances making up their form...

Staring at her was like taking a dip with your mind into a cold, refreshing pond. It was like staring out across an actual koi pond- Calming... Magically so.

"Very well. I will help you if she does die. May I eat some of their hearts if that is the case? Or will they all be yours? That was originally a Sirenian tradition, I will have you know."

[23:19:50] Xomac's hue instantly stares towards Hatsune as suddenly she was surrounded by gold and silver. The Chieftain of the Atl hisses, backing back towards the tree. It wouldn't so much be due to her magic, he was no occultist after all, but these bright lights. "Turn that down a bit.. Hunting."

The man's mind was the opposite of at ease. He glanced around with a mixture of caution and paranoia. Eventually the foes would have to arrive, would they not? Hatsune's words however, do seem to calm the man, if only a little bit.

"The people I kill.. Their hearts will be MINE. They are felled by me after all. But the people you kill? You may have those hearts. You may revel in those hearts.."

[23:25:48] After seeing the veritable magical emotional support not helping, the silver and gold koi fish faded from view and left Xomac with nothing but the mermaid's presence and words. She nodded her head to agree before looking out towards the woods. The watchtower buckled slightly- But it would still be long until the entire thing came tumbling down...

"Very well. But let's not kill anyone until we know Oyaotl is dead. We will pile them captive up in Gehennese lands. I will aid you in making the collars and remotes to hold them. If we have to empty Avalon of every last Magi so that we might just walk within and release her, so be it."

"Xomac Tepin, of this you and I are of like mind. But remember- They might be dumb enough to try and boat her back to Valmasia without a collar on... Thinking that she would be gone from being their problem."

"And then she would just reappear here. Let us not give them a reason to want to murder her themselves."

[23:30:56] It was dispelled, the light in the night slowly trickling away. The Atl Chieftain seems to breath easier, his gaze cast to the left and to the right as he continued to wait for people to arrive, or for the tower to fall down under the weight of the rain. Then once more looks to Hatsune, having to read her lips due to the overbearing sound of the rain.

"It's hard.. I want blood, I want to kill them for even thinking about taking her.. But fine. We will pile them up. We will capture them and put them in Gehenna. We will wait until we know she's safe, we will get her back..

BUT IF THEY HURT MY OYA.. IF THEY KILL MY OYA.. I WILL END THEM. SHE IS MINE. I CLAIMED HER. SHE CLAIMED ME." The wind pulls the white hair out of his face, and in the flicker of night it is impossible to tell if the water on his features is rain, tears, or blood from picking at the sides of his head.

"We won't give them a reason. But if they ruin my world..

I will ruin them."

[23:34:20] "As is your right, Xomac Tepin, for they declare war of such nature with such actions. They are consenting to their ruin should they do what you fear they might do. Perhaps a message should be sent to them warning of such ruin, however, so that they do not do it unknowing?"

She foldd her hands over her lap again. The rain was coming down still just from the pressurized sphere of water erupting in all directions. However much she forced into that small area... Had not yet run out.

"Perhaps you should begin to write a missive and I will proofread it to make sure it does not draw their hand sooner rather than cause them pause?"

[23:37:45] The white haired man gives a nod. "It is my right.. It is all my right.. If they bring ruin to MY world.. After I offered them a place in it.. After I spared their Istvan.. THEY WILL COME TO KNOW A PAIN FROM WHICH THEY WILL NEVER RECOVER." the dark hands tighten around his lance, holding it more as his eye was cast to the darkness.

"Later. I can't right here. It would get wet, and it would get lost and it would do nothing for us. After we get back.. I might write something.. They should know already of what I can do. They should know better then to FUCK WITH ME OF ALL PEOPLE."

[23:40:19] "Oyaotl is a secretive woman. She might not tell them. She might not want to become a pawn in the war but rather to escape by her own initiative. You know that they would attempt to barter some higher peace with this one life just as you had with Istvan. They are desperate most likely."

"Have you ever declared to the Valmaese that she is your wife?"

Hatsune tore her crystal blue eyes away from the tower and back to the man. Hunting indeed... So hard to see, especially through the rain she'd caused.

[23:42:01] Caprise asks, "Oh?"
[23:42:01] Hatsune was tearing down the tower with a torrential downpour of rain.
(Hatsune Panic)

[23:43:44] "I have not-"

A flicker. In one moment Xomac rises from the tree line, darting outwards with lance raised, a blood lustful look upon his face upon to fall upon a farmilar green hairstyle. The weapon stops in the air and the Atl chieftain groans in annoyance.

"Caprise."

With that he makes his way back towards the tree line. "I have not told the Valmaese she is my wife. She isn't my wife yet. SHE WILL BE MY WIFE. SHE WILL ESCAPE."

He grits his teeth and shivers like a rabid animal.

[23:47:08] Hatsune spied the green haired boy through the rain, and unlike Xomac she had not been rushing towards him as she'd waited to identify him before making that dash. The tower was being assaulted with thick sheets of rain, gale force winds, and ice that collected upon its roof to weigh it down. It was started to look uneasy... But the work would surely last a long time should it be finished.

"Very well then. Just make sure to inspect all aspects of the situation before acting. If you would withhold that knowledge from them to make sure they do not try to barter her life for more than they otherwise would or wish to share that information with them to ensure they do not take her life without knowing the value of it... Well, that is a decision you must make..."

"Hello Caprise. It is good to see you well."

[23:48:51] Caprise gave an uncomfortable, sympathetic sort of look to Xomac, having heard of the outcome of the raid. He put one to one together before nodding his head, frowning some. "I will assist then- and scout the surrounding area while you two continue your work here."

A forced smile was then given to Hatsune, before he went off to do just that, heading into the greenery.

[23:52:16] Settling back upon the treeline the white haired man would lean upon the bark. For a few seconds the single silver hue would close and he merely grit his teeth, bloodlust hanging in the air. Soon enough he would back to looking every way to search out prey, or anything he could sic his anger upon.

"I will, I will." The man waves off. "I don't know how much I should tell them.. For now what I have said should be enough. IT ENOUGH." Hands grip towards the side of his head, pulling at the white hair before looking towards Caprise.

"If. You. See. Anyone..

Capture. CAPTURE." The teeth grit, as if he fights his very nature and esire with the words.

[23:53:58] Caprise says, "Stay safe. We should likely conduct daily patrols on our borders given the times. I'll be back soon."
[23:55:40] Hatsune stood behind Xomac as he raged on. Webbed fingers reached out to attempt to lay upon his shoulder, the mermaid having to reach up well past her own comfort to try at the gesture. Crystal blue eyes fall on Caprise in the rain she'd caused.

"Best of luck-"

And he was off. He could not see dots through the trees, and he had places to be most likely.

She looks back to Xomac and nods her head. "Their tower will fall. If you would like, we could destroy everything Valmaese that lays outside of their walls until we get Oyaotl back. It would make waiting more productive. You can destroy the next building. How does that sound?"

[00:01:39] Xomac shivered up until the moment that Hatsune's fingers reached out. The bloodlust suddenly hangs higher in the air as the white haired man jumps backwards. The weapon is pointed for a few seconds at Hatsune, the end of the land putting a few feet between them.

"Don't pity me. DON'T PITY ME." The man cries out. "I am Xomac Tepin. I am the pain who fought at Necropolis. I am the man who ended war at Ardent. I am the man who could have killed Istvan.. I am the man who survived death so many times.."

His knees shake, his words mixing between speaking and something that sounded like sobs.

"I am Xomac Fucking Tepin. The world is mine.. Don't pity me.."

For a minute his eyes are downcast, gritted together.

".. Their tower will fall. We will destroy everything outside their walls.. Oyaotl will come back. We will bring her back, I will bring her back.. I just.."

Xomac clutches his head.The lance is placed upon his back as he moves to a tree far from Hats, out of sight but still there.

[00:06:46] "Xomac Tepin, I do not pity you. I worry for you and all that will be before your path. You are not a man to be pitied, Xomac Tepin," The mermaid stayed where Xomac left her for now, no use following a man that wanted to hide himself from view... At least not right after the fact.

"But the world is bigger than we are, and right now we must acknowledge that. If your strength alone was enough to topple the Valmaese and have Oyaotl back within your arms, we would not be here. We must acknowledge that we will need help, luck, and careful mitigating of outside factors to make sure our goals are met..."

"I sought physical contact so that you would know that I am with you in this. My hand upon you, Xomac Tepin, means not that I look down upon you but that I am beside you. For if my help might help, it is offered..."

[00:12:44] Caprise says, "I'll cover the scout end."
[00:13:36] The single silver hue stares outwards towards the treeline, even still awaiting for the time when someone arrives to assult the tower. His back his slumped against the tree, silent as Hatsune speaks. Even after she finishes speaking he is silent, merely gazing off into the dark.

".. I don't want to acknowledge that." The Chieftain of the Atl states. "If my strength right now isn't enough.. If I can't save my Oya right now.." The single silver hue glances towards the Sirenian. "Then I need to get stronger. I need to improve. That is the only way I will be able to make this world MINE.. That is the only way I can meet my goals..

Strength...

My strength will be enough.. Hatsune.. Follow me then. Stay beside then.."

A glance is made towards Caprise, nodding as he came here.

[00:17:00] "Uwa, let me try to reframe that then..."

"I do believe you have the ability to be strong enough to save Oyaotl, Xomac Tepin, but that is not a matter of physical or magical strength. Your ability to bring others to your cause is still an imposing of your will upon this world- People who organize behind you for you are still a flexing of your capability."

"But even with that, with me and others, there will still be a mark of luck required... And careful consideration of each act."

Hatsune followed Xomac towards thicker tree cover. She did not seem fully sure if 'follow me' meant in the literal and immediate way or the long term, symbolic way...

[00:20:25] The silver hue falls upon Hatsune as she follows after him with confusion, as if he had also needed to slightly rephrase what he said but was far too proud to admit it. Still, the man takes his place, leaning against the nearby tree thickets.

A frown comes across his face. Hatsune's words seemed to speak truth.. An ability to call others to his cause, to impose his will.. Yet there is a shake of his head. "I need both. I need the ability to command, for people to follow me, and I also need strength so no one can stand in my way." The Chieftain states, gaze upon the nearby tower.

"And luck.. I don't know anything about luck. I just..

I AM XOMAC. I need to remember that. I need to make anyone who would fight me, stand against me.. I need to make them realize that too."

[00:25:32] "They will think that they can hide," Hatsune says with a slow shake of her head, "If they know they are against you, they might think that they can hide, but you must show them that there is no such way. That you will be upon them eventually no matter what they might do. But to do that... You cannot just charge into them, feed yourself to them..."

"I do believe every Valmaese knows that you alone in this world might be their end should they lock eyes upon you, Xomac Tepin. They know that if they lined up before you, you would weigh heavier than any singular man and most of them combined..."

"But not all of them at once."

"So Xomac Tepin, how do you intend to make them know that there will be no hiding behind their stone walls or allies? How do you plan on making sure that there will be no hiding behind their stone walls and allies?"

The tower began to buckle more, then. Stones fell off... But the foundation still held firm. So long as the thick rocks dug into the earth did not unsettle, the damage could be undone. The ice collected further upon the top, threatening to rip those foundations out by bringing the entire weight of the tower toppling down to wrench it free.

A terribly long affair.

[00:31:31] "They will think they can hide and be proven wrong." The Chieftain of the Atl states. Standing, his hand moves to the lance upon his back, fingers gently running over the blade a few times before looking towards Hatsune. In fact one could almost see the grey hue light up when she said 'just charge into them'.

"They know that I can end them.. They will know to fear me. And if they think I can not take all of them at once, then I must gain the strength so that they know I can and will.

How to make them know there will be no hiding? Crush their stone walls. pick appart their allies. Strip them of that safety they believe they have.."

A lock of hair is pushed out of his features. His gaze continues to hold upon the tower.

[00:35:47] "Where do you believe you will find that power so fast, Xomac Tepin, to take upon the entire army of the Valmaese at once?" Hatsune asked just over the din of rain, "For one man is dead, two are a test, but three for anyone will be able to overpower with sheer bodies alone..."

"Xomac Tepin, your strength must come from mitigating those threats, those numbers, and avoiding situations where your bodily and magical strength will not be able to drive you. The strongest man is the man who never fights a battle he cannot win because he makes sure that he does not need to..."

"But they have the initiative here, and they might force a battle that you cannot win. You must make sure that that does not come about. You must be considerate, Xomac Tepin. And you are."

"I am just trying to remind you. You are the man who is strong... But in more ways than just one."

[00:41:45] The question is a difficult one. A challenging one. The man's mouth curves into a frown, his hands grip the sides of his head, picking at his temples, blood dripping downwards on his dark face in the rain. "Where would I find that power.." The question repeated as his face turns into a frown. "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter what tests I come across. I must gain that strength. This is MY world.. That strength will be MINE."

With that the grey hue looks to Hatsune. ".. Then I will make all battles battles that I can win. They may have the intiative but that just means I have to keep going. I will not die.. They will not kill me.

They will suffer.

... I need to master strength. All strengths that I can. Everything."

[00:49:26] "And what man might not wish to become the best he can be?" Hatsune asked rhetorically, "Nothing you say is wrong. Not in a moral sense. But there is one problem with what you said in a practical sense. 'It doesn't matter.' Because right now, it does in fact matter, Xomac Tepin. Because the strength is there for you to take, but you must decide which strength you can achieve so quickly..."

"I will tell you right now, Xomac Tepin, that the only strength you will achieve to destroy the Valmaese and crumble their walls to get Oyaotl back to you is the strength of numbers. But then, that is not the only way to get her... There are other ways..."

"The strength of patience. Hunting one by one each Valmaese you find until the pile of magi you hold would be too great for them to ever turn down to have her back. You could even demand her back first and kill them anyways for defying you. Virtues and sins both are flaws in the eyes of pragmatism. Honesty is not the best way to live if you consider 'best' to be achieving your goals with efficiency."

"Or you could appeal to them- The strength of diplomacy. For once, you turned Istvan Bolidzsar back to the Valmaese and returned-"

She turns as she hears someone approaching, staring at Dragula S. Reaves... Her crystal blue eyes cut through the darkness. Behind her, the tower shook and crumbled under torrential rain.

[00:51:08] It didn't take long for Caprise to take to a run and swerve around Dragula, cornering him off from behind. His staff pointed out toward the grey-skinned man, on the ready. "Surrender." He murmured out, his steeled expression obscured by the dark of the night, "And fall to your knees."
(Caprise)
[00:51:08] "The strength of diplo-"

Xomac initially began to respond but before he could the lance would be drawn. The white haired man clammers forth from the treeline, his silver hue having fallen upon what he wanted at long last. His mouth twists upwards into a grin as it falls upon the Neries prey, pointed towards them.

"PREY!"

However, Caprise beat them to the punch so to speak.

[00:53:42] A heavy and loud sigh leave the neries lips. What in the devil had he walked into ?.

Placing his hand ups he stares at them, before placing one knee on the floor and using another leg for support. No chance for him to escape from three people at once.
(Dragula S. Reaves)

[00:57:07] Hatsune watched the two men act to subdue the young man who'd wandered into their operation. Truly, the worst of luck... Or best, depending on who was who at the moment. She turned back to her work, needing some marginal amount of focus to finish the job. Water flew up from the pools and ponds it had made and returned to the air to fall once more, upheaving earth in its hasty path. The top of the tower looked like a snow globe with the ice collecting upon it, weighing it down, threatening to cause it to crumble. The destructive power of magic combined with the mermaid's over analytical mind to create a very effective if convoluted scheme to break the hefty piece of masonry from the ground.

"Do remember not to kill him. There is more value in a life than a body."

[00:57:58] A step forward was taken when the Neries lowered himself, careful hands moving to inspect- with his eyes intent on the man's own digits- before attempting to remove any weaponry that he might have on hand.

"I'll take them to the Ezmara cells, while you two continue your work here."
(Caprise)
[00:58:49] As soon as Caprise moved close to the neries, swift hand moved towards the weapon and he prepared himself to unleash a attack on the man.

[00:58:49] The silver haired man watches the Neries lower himself for a few moments longer. There is a look in his eyes, as if almost daring them to fight back.. But then the lance is placed once more upon the Atl's back. A gritting of his teeth for a few moments before he turned-

Only for the neries to ready himself for combat. The lance is once more pulled forth.

"Caprise, you or me?"

[01:01:23] Once Dragula made to strike with his hand moving toward his weapon, Caprise responded in turn, his fingers surging with blue electricity while swerving down to slam into the Neries neck with precision and power. "I'll handle this!" He called out, sparks igniting around him in a blaze of lightning.
(Caprise)
[01:01:23] {combat} Dragula S. Reaves has been defeated by Caprise! They're unable to continue fighting.

[01:04:48] The Elsyrean made quick work of his opponent, with accelerated strikes of electricity accompanied by spirals of blue and gold- beams of energy that slammed into the Neries again and again, until he was forced back down once more. "Submtit," Caprise ordered, "I have no intention of harming those that do not respond with violence."

"And I can guarantee your safety- your life- for the duration of the war, in the cells of the Ezmara."

"But the more you resist, the more you damn yourself."

[01:09:04] Griting his teeths the grip on the hilt of the sword would get stronger. If hes going down its better to do it fightihng. HIs eyes moved towards the other two and again he got ready to defend himself. Ride or Die is what they say right.

[01:09:04] Hatsune looked to the other person as they approached. Dark cloak and hood... She cleared her throat and gave a quiet point in their direction for the other men to see.

Behind her, the tower that was built upon the border was being assaulted by a torrential, localized storm of rain and hail. Ice collected upon its top like a snow globe.
(Hatsune Panic)

[01:09:55] Gold erupts around the white haired man, both around him and in the shape of wings as he settles behind Dragula, before the wings fade. "That's it prey! Fight!" A savage smile set upon Xomac's features as a kick flies into Dragula, sending him forwards. The lance is once more drawn from the Chieftain's back.

[01:11:37] {combat} Dragula S. Reaves has been defeated by Xomac Tepin! They're unable to continue fighting.
[01:14:11] Contrary to what Xomac said, the white haired man would give little time for the Neries to fight. Rather quickly a beam of cosmic flew the youth into a tree followed by two waves of flame. The lance then slams down upon Dragula's head, not doing anything permanent of knocking the Neries to the ground.

The weapon is drawn to the Atl Chieftain's lips, tongue extending to lap at the blood on it. His gaze turns to Caprise.

"My capture, but put him in the Ezmaran cells for now."

[01:15:53] Ichirou had been waiting silently in the corner. Though as he heard the word, Ezmaran, he knew he was in... Somewhat friendly company. The Kitsune pulled his hood back, revealing an Izhurian Kitsune, silently staring at him for a moment.

"Whats going on in his neck of the wood?" Ichirou asked.

[01:16:44] Dragula is unconcious on the floor
(Dragula S. Reaves)

[01:17:36] Caprise says, "Very well. Though, Xomac, I do not wish to see him harmed. I will only take him to the prison if you can guarantee that. He will stay within the cell until we find a purpose for him."
[01:18:27] Hatsune Panic says, "He is to be used as a bartering chip for Oyaotl. That is encouragement that he will be alive."
[01:18:27] Caprise says, "I imagine it's to secure the release of your wife, which I will dillegently work towards. Yes, good..."

[01:32:06] The storm was reaching a breaking point. The fights- The exchanges there took time and the mermaid did not dare let them interrupt her word. Destruction through a single, swift kick would take power well out of the reach of most magi as this stone structure was likewise built by Magi. The stonework was made sturdy and fused by earth magi, the foundations dug deeper than reason might allow, and the entire thing reinforced...

So wind tore at it in a thousand cuts light cuts to its frame. Constantly pushing in a singular direction. It had started to tilt now, at a ten degree angle from what it was at before. The ice had started to follow suit, building off of the side and forming lopsided icicles and extra bulk to keep the momentum growing. The ground opposite the way it tilted was churning up, splitting into the air as if some great beast was fighting its way from captivity in the earth.

Soon. So very soon. But not yet- The work was not yet done, and worse still it was reversible! The proper magi might yet bury the foundation back down and undo her terrible structure destruction. The proper non-magi, even, could jerry rig it until proper attention could be displayed.

Hatsune did not display this critical moment by the look upon her face. She kept the wind and rain going by small gestures of her hand- The barest and most efficient bending of her mana circuits being used to surprising effectiveness to keep herself from fainting from the stress.

"After this, if Caprise does not return we can scout the area, clear it out, and then we can head elsewhere. With Gao Daryu fallen, we could easily march there and cut off Valmaese looking to consort by its caves... But there might be numbers. I have not dared stray that direction. If we find ourselves in a situation that we cannot prevail, we can come as envoys stating that we wish to make a prisoner exchange for the lives of those that have been captured... They might actually think that to be true."

[01:37:13] For once since Oyaotl's capture, Xomac would actually have a smile on his face. The coppery taste of blood continued to wet his mouth as he leaned on the tree, glancing at the building that the storm was slowly tearing down. Both hands hold the lance and hold it tight as the single silver hue rests upon the building.

"We might want to look around here, but I think I grow a bit tired. I am weary after the news, and after that fight. I may rest a bit.. But indeed, we should search this area. Take as many captives as possible. Make them give my Oya back..

They will know better then to fuck with Xomac Tepin. They will learn." The man nestles against the tree. ".. We could indeed check out the caves soon though. In the coming days or weeks.

And even in situations where it looks like we can not win, I still want to fight. They should know exactly who they made mad, who they angered and why.

[01:43:12] "Uwa... Very well, Xomac Tepin, but might I make a request?" Hatsune says just over the sound of the rain and hail hitting the tower, "There is one strength I feel you have but are not utilizing to its full effect... Awareness."

She steals a look at the man and stares.

"If there is a situation where we both find ourselves together and faced with some threat and I advise you on a course of action, I would request that you heed my words to some degree. I would never tell you what to do, Xomac Tepin, unless I felt there was something you did not know about the situation that I did. Even if we stared upon a behemoth greater than this continent itself and you dared to stand before it, I would not advise you against doing so unless there was some critical, hidden fact that might change your mind should you know it, one too lengthy and hard to describe to simply tell you in the time it would take for you to need to make that decision."

"Please, take no offense, Xomac Tepin, and know that right now my goals align with yours entirely. Oyaotl must be returned, and if she does not return then the Valmaese must learn that such acts do not go unpunished. I am not one to dwell on deaths and loss, but I will ensure that they have not the chance to inflict further harm upon me or anyone else."

The silver hue looks towards Hatsune, trailing after her as she speaks. The speaking of his lack of strength then brings a frown upon his face. Yet he does not grow hostile, or raise his voice. There is silence as she speaks.

"I'll listen if it bothers you that much, but I do as I please." The Atl Chieftain states. "I win most of my battles because I don't give up. When I lost my eye, I didn't give up. When I lost my organs, I didn't give up. When I lost to Kalthas I didn't give up.. This is my world, and I will not faulter in showing it who it belongs to.

I will listen. But that is all I will say. Oya will return. This is my world so they will return her.

And if they don't.. Istvan will be missing his heart. No.. That is more to say..

His heart will be MINE. And I will eat it."

[01:51:44] Hatsune breaks the random chest that fell out of the tower.

[01:56:00] "Very well. That is more than I had hoped for before, possibly more than I deserve, and more than I thought I would get by asking. You will do as you please, Xomac Tepin. Your will is made manifest. Do be careful, however. I had spent many years fulfilling wishes for Galene and her sisters."

"As the old adage goes-"

Before she could finish that entirely cliche thought, the tower gave a resounding, shattering creak and crumble. The earth away from its tilt suddenly erupted in a spray of dirt and stone almost as tall as the tower once stood-

Once stood, as the entire thing tumbling down. The ice upon its top slammed into the ground and buried itself a great ways in. As it would melt long before anyone was likely to come and see the remains of this once tall declaration of border, it would look as if someone had taken the entire thing out of the ground, snapped it in half, and then thrown the top intothe ground to cause a crater after the ice had gone...

And with that, the rain stopped... And Hatsune stared at her handiwork quietly. The lack of the rainstorm left the air quiet and vacant, and the tower being off of the horizon doubled the sense of emptiness that pervaded the clearing...

"Well then."

[02:01:07] Caprise says, "Ah... And so she falls."

[02:01:07] It was done.

No golden light, no celebration. The silver hue rested upon the watchtower before it would fall, tumble, hit the ground. The Chieftain of the Atl stares towards the building that had once represented a world where Gehenna and Valmasia could co-exist.

"They ruined this tower far before we did. It is simply returned to the earth now. This is my will. This is my path. This is my choice."

There is a cracking of the Chieftain's neck as he takes a few steps forwards. "And with this MY war has once more begun.

I'm heading back Hats. Are you joining or do you wish to do more here?"

[02:04:32] "I have no wish to be out here alone at the moment. I know not if they will flock to this event, but I am not as strong as you, Istvan Bolidzsar, and what strength I have is held in restraint."

The water began to sweep itself from the ground in great volume and restore itself to the spot by her shoulder- The ball grew and compacted over and over, returning to a finite point what seemed an infinite supply... Even after they'd leave, she'd such the moisture from the air to collect what she'd needed for eventual fights and tasks such as this.

[02:07:05] "Then we'll depart." With that the Chieftain of the Atl moves forth, silver hue already focused on the way back. "And that is fine.. No one needs to be as strong as me. My power will only increase.. This is MY world. I will have the power to rule it."

With that? A simple gaze remains on the mermaid before he gives a nod, beginning to head back towards Gehenna. A fulfilled grin crossed his features.

[02:07:05] Caprise says, "It would be best if we all head back. I wouldn't be surprised if they heard the tower's fall from Lingsel. <-He waves the dust away from him->"

[02:13:04] However, before the group departs Xomac moves his hand. Fire alights upon the ground, writing the following words in large heaps of burnt grasp.

'I am Xomac Tepin. This is MY world. If you attempt to take from me, I will burn your towers, burn your cities.
