Online shopping site


Problem definition:

	The system allows user to browse and purchase items from wide range of products and services. User can choose any item and pay then user will get the product delivered to him.


Scope:

	Any user can go through this site and browse for items. System will store user information database as well as database containing information about all products available. It will have facilities of browsing, ordering, payment and shipment.

	User management:
		System will manage information about all its customers. It will store contact information, purchase history, wishlist of items. User's cart will be stored.

	Product management:
		Products will be divided in categories. All products will be assigned to one or more categories. Users can view items of certain category. User can also search products. Products will be listed according to relevence and popularity.

	Seller management:
		Sellers can manage items they are selling through this site. They can change prices, put new items, pull down a product etc. New sellers can join our site after verification of seller by admins. Sellers will be rated by users.

	Shipment:
		Shipment handling will be given to a courier company. We will transfer user order and allow user to track their shipments or even cancel them.
