5/12: I'm currently in an 8th period computer lab looking at sources and finding some cool stuff. Up until now I've suffered from a lack of direction, but I just came up with an idea I think has potential: how society cultivates a persona that's different from how humans would normally be if left unattended- maybe Victorian society in particular, or maybe comparison with modern society (although I'm thinking that's too ambitious.) One of the main themes of the book is the duality

Is this more like something I could turn into an interesting essay? Ultimately I'm aiming for a thesis that's more interesting than "Reputation was very important in Victorian society, hooray."

If you're wondering about the name- birth name is Adam. Got the nickname sometime around second grade (reasons unknown.) Lord knows how it got on my FCPS records...
